   i have two questions since i am still new to this couponing adventure. 1) the satin care/fusion shave gel: is that a good deal?? or is there a chance you can find it cheaper? 2) the very first deal that collin has posted under monthly RR’s (the oral-B toothbrushes): i have looked for two weeks for these and cant find them. my walgreens is quite frankly stupid so i want to make sure i have the right ones. thanks so much to anyone that can help.

  The toothbrushes were on a hanging display on the end of the aisle in my walgreens – not with the other toothbrushes. HTH!

   Wow I am an idiot, I thought Blind side was still in theaters. Lol I have not been to a movie in about a year and a half now, and since my son was born 16 months ago my husband and I hae only had 1 date night. We were going to tey and see it tonight as our 2nd date night but thats not gonna work now. Guess I will wait till tues and just buy it. Having kids sure messes with your perception of time. Is avatar still in theaters?

   For anyone who missed out on the Oscar Mayer Bacon $1.50 coupons – On facebook Oscar Mayer said “Get ready for Sunday morning breakfast! Be sure to check your Sunday newspaper: some will contain a coupon for Oscar Mayer bacon. ” I just checked sundaycouponpreview.com and under the Smartsource 3/21 they have a .75¢/1 Oscar Mayer Bacon coupon listed. Not as great as the $1.50 but still a good coupon.
   I get a thin smartsource from my local paper and the Oscar Mayer bacon coupon was not in my Smartsource so maybe the bigger newspapers will have them. I did get a Play $aver insert in my Smartsource from Hasbro that had some toy coupons from Tonka, My little pony, Playskool and some boardgames etc. ( http://www.playsaver.com )

   I wanted to buy some Keebler Crackers, in the above senario Collin uses the $2/2 coupon from The Wags “Over $20” coupon flyer, but the $2/2 coupon in the flyer states Keebler or Cheez-it 4.5 to 6 oz. I wonder if it’ll beep if its used with the sale boxes which are larger (Cheez-it 7.5 to 9 and Keebler 11.5 to 16 oz.).

   On the Schick razors, I’m pretty sure the $4.99 price already takes into account the $2 in store coupon. The ad I see says $6.99 – $2 in store coupon = $4.99. Still a good deal at $.99 if you have the $4 coupon though.

    The Georgia Pacific rebate says in the little wording, “$20 worth (excluding sales tax and discounts and credits-gift cards may be used)” does that mean we have to hit $20 after coupons and RR’s?

    If anyone is interested in the Clorox disinfecting wipes, you might check to see if your Kmart has a tear pad with $1.50 off any Clorox disinfecting product when you buy Clorox disinfecting wipes. I found these a couple weeks ago. This coupon would make for a good deal.

    My Walgreens would not let me use 2 Planters $1.50 off coupons because i was 2 cents off the total value of the coupons. Still a great deal, got two bags of Trail Mix for .74 cents each!

  Hi Melanie…did you make sure you gave the cashier the manufactures coupon first?? This is very important to do at Walgreens to insure you get the free stuff..give the store coupon last! but hey .74 is still a good deal!

  If you give all your manuf. coupons and then when they give the total say “oh, I have these too!” then there is nothing they can do. During that time frame look through your purse or something as if you’re trying to find something and then hand them over. This works if its in the monthly coupon book most easily, at least in my area, since they don’t take the time to memorize the months coupon list. The in-ad ones are a little harder to pull this off with but I’ll flip through the ad as they are scanning my manf. coupons and act as though I stumbled across the coupon. “oh, looks like I can use this coupon too!” Lol. Kinda sneaky but with the way they treat us sometimes, you gotta do what you’ve gotta do, lol.

  I tried that once and the cashier actually voided the manu coupons so that she could scan the in-ad coupon first. So, some cashiers are sticklers for the rules. Can’t blame them if they can get in trouble for it.

  For the Olay Quench rebate form I had the same problem until I changed the printer settings. I changed it to “scale to fit paper” and it scaled down to 8-1/2 by 11 size and it printed just fine. HTH

    Can someone help me. I can’t seem to find any coupon for the buy one get one free gillette deodorant all I got is the buy one anti-perspirant/deodorant and get 1 gillette body wash free is this the one? I did find the $3 off any clinical strength deodorant.

    For the Gillette shave gel can we use this scenario?

    Buy 2 gillette men shave gels 2/$5 w/in-ad coupon
    Use 2 $1 off shave gel
    Use 2 buy gillete shave prep get one gillette body wash for free
    Final price 2/$3 plus 2 free body washes

    The walgreens stores in my area will no longer let me stack a manufactors coupon with the monthly booklet stating the monthly booklets are manufactors coupons. Is anyone else having this problem?

  I had the same problem last time I went to Walgreens. The Walgreens coupon beeped, even though I gave it last and there were no overages and the cashier said the Walgreens coupon was a manufacturer’s coupon so it couldn’t be stacked. I’m going to try it one more time tonight with the Planters coupons and see what happens.

    I could not do the puffs/ vicks deal because the $1.50 vicks coupon from P & G says one per purchase. They would not let me use more than one so I could not get the puffs free or the $10 RR.

    Anyone having problems with the $1 MQ for the Vanity napkins not working for you??? They beeped on me this morning at Wags, and the clerk would not take it since it showed the 40 count package on the picture, and the BOGO napkins are a 100 count. Luckily I also had two $.75 MQ from last weeks inserts so I still got 4 packages of napkins for $.62 each. Not too bad!! Still a bit bummed cuz they should have only been $.12 if all four coupons could have been used.

  Yes, I had the same problem this morning as well. I pointed out that the coupon said “any napkin”, but one cashier said that she could only take it for the 40ct ones since those were pictured. I tried a different walgreens and the cashier there did it just fine.

    I could not use the March coupon booklet Schick coupon along with my 4$ off coupon. They said the 2$ off from march coupon booklet is also manufacturer coupon and cant combine both. I read same thing happened to someone else also in comments…so pls check on this.

    Also I didnt realize that i got both olay and sc johnson’s products on same receipt. How can I send this to 2 mail in rebates seperately? Can I request walgreens to give me another receipt? pls answer….donno what to do.

  I was also able to purchase the razors for .99 w/ the $4 off Q and the $2Q in the March booklet. I even had to get a manager to void my transaction, because I didn’t know what the instant Q meant and neither did my cashier, so it rang up 6.99. She voided the whole thing and didn’t question both coupons!

    Ok so I tried to get the chex mix(BOGO) and tried to use a $1/2 coupon and also the natures bounty vitamins (they are also BOGO this week)- I had to 2 $1/1 coupons, but the cashier wouldnt let me use multiple coupons because i was already getting one free. Is anyone else having this problem?

    I know lots of people have had problems recently with coupons at Walgreens but today I had a great expreience. I’ve never had a problems at our stores but today I did the Huggies deal (with a few other things) and it would not accept my 3rd $3 off coupon. THe cashier wasn’t even able to put it in manually. The manager came over and checked it out and he said that because I had 2 RR, that counted as manf coupons, then I technically had 15 coupons for 14 items so the system wouldn’t allow it to go through. He said, “just grab a candy bar or something and we’ll try it again.” Sure enough, 1 cadbury egg later, it went through! That was a policy I was not aware of though so I thought that might be helpful to some.

  In my experience, the register rewards are just like any other manufacturer coupon. When they are expired, you’re sunk. No reissues. My stores are pretty strict about this, whereas CVS always lets me use expired Extra Bucks. Irritating. Sorry! Hope this helps!

    I stopped at 6 Walgreens yesterday and found Combat priced at $2.00 & $2.07! I decided to not be greedy and only bought 6 for .14 cents!!! Yay me! Summer is coming and I know they will come in handy. They also had the Raid sprays for $1.49. So make sure to print out the $2.00 coupons from Coupons.com

    I just bought 2 bags of Schick Slim Twin razors. I was looking at the razor display, and was going to buy 2 bags of 12, but then realized there were bags of 15 at the back of the display (12 + 3 free). The bags were $6.99 each, and then with the $3 off coupon from the SS and $2 off coupon from WG, each bag came to $1.99 each, which is only about $.13 a razor! Thanks for teaching me how to use my manufacturer and WG coupons together. It was great.

    Does your Walgreens allow you to use a manuf coupon that is a higher value than the item you want to use it on? For instance, Loreal haircolor was on sale for $2.49 and I had a $3/1 coupon so I was like “sweet! I’ll get two boxes for free.” So the cashier rang it up and I handed her the coupons, the first coupon went through but the second one beeped. She said it was because it was for more than the item was. The first one worked because it took $3 off both boxes. I asked her if she could adjust the coupon to be just $2.49 so it matches the item’s price and she said no she couldn’t do that. This is the second time I’ve had a coupon beep for that reason and i was wondering if that is an individual store policy? Because at other stores it goes through and the overage is applied to the other items in my cart. Or the one grocery store the register automatically adjusts the amount of the coupon.Any ideas?

    I see a few examples of Walgreens deals this week where coupons are being used improperly. When you have a buy one get one free coupon from the manufacturer, you are buying 2 items required and getting one for free. Your not suppose to take another manufacturers coupon for money off of those same items just purchased. When I started couponing this was pointed out to me by clerks and many others.
    You can stack Walgreens store coupons and Manufacturers coupons on the same items.
    If Walgreens has a B1G1 free deal, then you can use 2 man. coupons (1 on each item) or present a B1G1 free man. coupon to get both for free. Disappointed to see such a great website promoting improper coupon use to many of its followers.

  I beg to differ. If you use a BOGO manufacturer coupon, there is no reason why you can’t use a dollars/off coupon on the item you are paying for. There is no price restriction on the BOGO coupon, so why would you not be able to apply a discount to it?? (The BOGO applies to the one you are getting free.) It’s just like getting it when it’s on sale at the store… it’s just savvy shopping. I’ve even confirmed this on more than one occasion with Customer Service for CVS. It IS acceptable coupon usage.
