**As with all restaurant freebies, I would highly recommend you call your local stores ahead of time to make sure they are participating.
I think Carvel is a better deal than ColdStone since at Cold Stone you have to donate in order to get a free ice cream which I don’t think it’s worth going to unless you’re feeling generous.
Donating is always worth doing. It’s just a personal choice if you WANT to or not.
Cold stone is a great deal because you are helping a sick child and there family have a wish granted. I will personally be at cold stone with my 4 year old daughter who had her wish granted last year. Her wish was a huge blessing and help us get through a really hard time. It makes me sad that people are not willing to donate for a good cause even when they are getting ice cream in return.
Please go visit ColdStone and donate to Make A Wish!!! It’s an awesome foundation, helping children who really need it. Really. Thanks to ColdStone for running their great promotion again!
I work at the University of Iowa hospital and have seen some tremendous wishes created due to the make a wish foundation. I have also had some friends growing up that got a wish granted due to make a wish foundation. It’s a terrific organization. Unfortunately I have to work this evening or else I would be going to donate.
We got our free oreo ice cream sandwiches at Carvel and they were so good.
