Check out my Rite Aid Store Guide!
I have a quick question for anyone who participated in the P&G Olympic deals where you got a $35 VISA gift card. Has anyone got their gift card yet? I have yet to get mine and I just want to make sure I’m not the only one who hasn’t gotten it yet. Thanks!
haven’t gotten mine either….the only gift card I’ve gotten from the beginning of the year till now was the nivea gift card, all the rest I’m waiting for
Thanks for responding! That makes me feel so much better knowing I’m not the only one! I thought I might have thrown it away or something!
I was just thinking about that too.. I requested mine 2/14 and still haven’t gotten it!!
Requested mine 2/11 and have not gotten it yet….
I emailed customer service a few days ago to check on this and apparently the gift cards are on back order? Strange, but at least I know they haven’t forgotten about us!
Haven’t gotten mine either.
I received mine a while ago.
Nope, mine hasn’t arrived. Good to know I’m not the only one!
i received mine with an olympic pin over a month ago
I e-mailed customer service about two weeks ago and they said that they were on back order, hopefully we will get them soon.
Has anyone tried Tugaboo diapers? Are they any good? Are they perfumed (like Luvs)?
I bought them the first week this deal came out and we really, really like them. Zero leaks (and my son can fill a diaper!), they didn’t feel papery or thin at all and no scent. We were really happy with them!
I emailed Rite-Aid because I have yet to receive my $35 gift card as well. They say they are on “backorder”
Same here. I also called them yesterday and I was told that the P & G gift card is on back order. The customer rep also mentioned that I should be receiving it by May 1st. Hope that helps.
May 1st???
This has nothing to do with this post but I was recently reading your post on swagbucks and it said the $5 amazon GC were for 45 SB but when I go to redeem it says 450. Am I misunderstanding something?
They changed all the values of stuff when they had their 3rd birthday of swagbucks. Instead of earning 1 to five swagbucks now you earn 10 to 50….so they changed the price of amazon card from 45 to 450…still really the same amount….hth
Hi Erin,
When SwagBucks celebrated it’s birthday… they added a “0” to the end of all the point values. So when you used to get 1 swagbuck or 2 swagbucks, you now get 10 or 20. So now the Amazon gift card is 450 points instead of 45. It’s really the same thing, though… They made the switch so they could award more point values (like now they can give you 11 or 14 points…). Hope that helps
Thanks so much for your help! makes perfect sense!
Think I might try this: 1 AMO Complete Solution $7.99 + 2 L’Oreal Everstrongs $11.98 + 1 Loaf of Bread $2.00 . Use (2) $2 Everstrong Coupons and a $5 off $20 purchase coupon. Pay $12.97 OOP and receive $12.99 in SCR. We need bread and free bread is always better. I’m getting a little worried about doing the Rite Aid SCR and gift card deals though. Like many of you have stated, they seem to be having some delay issues with their checks and last week’s Yahoo story about their financial woes has me a little concerned that the end may be near .
I have NEVER had any problems with my SCR checks not showing up or being late. This P&G gift card is the first time I have had any delays at all and I’m assuming it’s coming from another company. Their customer service has always been great, so I don’t think we should be worried about not receiving rebate checks. As far as financial woes, I have no idea.. Hopefully nothing serious, I love Rite Aid!
Rite Aid has faced the specter of bankruptcy for more than ten years, yet the promotions and deals just get better. I love Rite Aid, but I’m not concerned.
Third-party gift cards have *always* taken a lifetime. I doubt it has anything to do with their financial woes.
I hope you two are right, I really like Rite Aid as well. Their SCR program and Wellness Card have really saved my family a lot of money.
I have never had a problem with my SCR check. They usually come 2 weeks after I request it.
If you remember on the submission form it said it would take up to 8 weeks.
Does anyone have the wellness card yet?
Yes! Even though the official roll out isn’t until next week sometime, I have been able to use my card and Wellness coupons with no problems!
Do you use alot of the 5 off 25 coupons with the wellness card? I’m wondering if they keep track of how many you use since you have the card and it is tied to one person.
Do you use alot of the 5 off 25 coupons with the wellness card? I’m wondering if they keep track of how many you use since you have the card and it is tied to one person.
Sorry, didn’t mean to post twice.
My area has had the Wellness card for awhile, and I haven’t used any of the $5/$25 coupons, but have used many of the $5/$20 Video Value coupons (each time I’m there). I don’t know if they keep track, but some stores get cranky when you have lots of legitimate coupons (store and manufacturers).
Love the Rite Aid deals on Prilosec! Those rebates have saved me some money. Thanks for posting these Collin!
I am curious to know if anyone has submitted for and had approved the Allergy Rebate #552. The RA directory specifically states “rebate based on actual price paid after any and all coupons”. If so, then the deals posted would come up far short of the required $25 or $50 to receive the rebate. Am I missing something? TIA 🙂
I submitted and qualified for SCR $552, used all kinds of coupons. The healthy heart one said the same thing last month, but I had no problems.
I also got my P & G card weeks ago.
If you used your wellness card last week, it printed $1off $1.99 cleaning supply coupons. Mr clean cleaning products on sale for $1.99, use the RA coupon, and if you have them, $0.75/1 manis!
Last week I had $50 worth of allergy medicine and only paid 25.95 OOP for the allergy deal and it qualified me for the $25 gift card.
Thanks for the info! I’m in! 🙂
Off topic here, but I just had to share.
Just finished up a garage sale where I sold a TON of my overstock of toothpaste, feminine products, you name it. Hardly anything was expired and almost everything was free ( or “less than free”) to me . I made just shy of $500 in about 7 hours and made a lot of women very happy selling things for $1 for the most part. LOL
I would NEVER discourage someone from donating items that they can’t use ( I donate, too).I don’t set out to resell, but I have found this is a great way to make room for new things and I can get some cash in hand to cover misc. expenses ( like my upcoming family vacation — it will be paid for!) .People are SO happy to pay such reduced prices and it helps those who don’t coupon like I do.
Nothing wrong with that, good way to earn for your vacation.
me too! i made just over 500 and sold most of my items for 1.00 except for razors were 2.00 or 3.00. i live in an area were most people really love to pay 1,00 for things, now i have money to do more couponing and pay off a bill or two!
This upsets me when people wipe out the shelves and then sell it at sales.
So wrong to me, just donate it!
I have to stand up for myself and others a little and then I’ll leave it alone. LOL. I do not wipe out shelves and I do not set out to resell items. But especially in the case of when I purchase free after rebate items to get up to a certain amount so I can use a $5/$25 coupon, etc. I get stuck with items I will never use or just too many of items I will use from time to time. I take care of my family and friends first and then if I can make a little money, great, but I do donate many items, too. Couponing is a part time job for me and I do what I can to help my family, but I am not rude or aggressive about it; there are plenty of deals for us all !
When I looked at the ad, it looks like the in-ad coupon for the cascade/dawn is $1 off when you buy cascade AND dawn. Be sure to look at the wording of this before using it.
where can you find the ad for next week, today? Online it onlu gives me the current week.
In the Saturday newspaper in our town, we get the new sale flyers for several stores – CVS, Kmart, Walmart, Rite-Aid, Michaels and our local supermarket. Funny though, those flyers are not in our Sunday paper (the other stores – Target, Walgreens, etc. are)! So, I only get them if I buy a Saturday paper.
When I do my match ups, I find the ad scans at iheartriteaid.com. She has them for several weeks out. You can take a quick look and at least get an idea of what coupons you need to save or print and what you can buy now or wait for a better price. Don’t know where she gets them though, she’s amazing!
I used to be a rite aid cashier, they have the ads for the next 2 or 3 weeks under the counter. No one ever asked for them when I worked there, so I’m not sure if they are allowed to give them if you ask or not. A couple of months ago I asked a cashier for the next weeks ad (on a friday, which is the same day it is mailed to our house), she said they didnt have it, the manager heard her and said we have it here, and gave it to me. So it may just depend on the person too!
Wow. I never even though about asking the store for an ad. I check iheartriteaid.com, too but I have wasted a lot of time getting things ready to shop only to find out ( at the store) that what I wanted was not on sale! Thanks for the tip!
You can go to Iheartriteaid.com for the ads coming up (like three weeks in advance at times). HTH!
Hi Kristy-
Thanks for catching that! I have updated the post.
Can you get two $5 off $20 Video Values coupons if you get 40 credits or does it stop giving you credits towards the coupon after you have already redeemed the first 20 credits?
you can get a full page of them in one printing if you got to slickdeals.net and check the wiki for RA. It will say something like $5/$20 6pp. This way I always have lots of coupons to make smaller orders and save more. Same with the $5 off $25. HTH
I had someone show me slickdeals.net the other day (first time I had been on that site) and now I can’t remember how to find the page where coupons are listed alphabetically…can someone tell me how to find it again? Thanks…..
Could you please tell me exactly how to do this and what is a wiki I tried to go find it but could not find anything on riteaid.
Thank you, I found it. Are these coupons legal? The Video Values coupons have “Valued Customer” instead of a name. Will Rite Aid still take them?
I didn’t like my name, or initials, on my coupons, so I changed my “name” to Valuable Customer, and they do take them.
Thank you! That is a good point about putting your name on the coupon.
Did anyone else notice that you can’t print the Rite Aid Video Values coupons more than once? Apparently they created a block of some sort.
I don’t see a rite ad video coupon for Brita filters when I log in to ad perks.
Sorry it is there. If you have already viewed the video it appears in the area only to print the coupons!
Wow ~ I just entered a receipt on the site and instead of the 2-5 days, it was IMMEDIATE. I was a bit confused at first, but wow. like that change!
depends probably on when the store does their downloading of transactions
Yeah, but I have NEVER had it be immediate! Have you?
When you enter your receipt a couple of days after the transaction it comes up immediately. I kind of like that so I usually wait.
Interesting, cause I usually enter them the day I do the transaction. This one, I waited a few days. I might start to wait, cause I like the immediacy of seeing it right away!
A couple of times mine has done that I think it is if you wait till like the end of the month and the last mintues to submit them.
I like to wait a couple of days, too. One of the drawbacks of the rebate program to me is that it can be easy to forget to submit a receipt or confirm that everything has been accounted for on the single check rebates page. If it is “instant” then I can just look through and verify that I purchased all of the correct items and file my receipt!
my Rite Aid does not carry Tresemme Frest Start, this would have been a great deal with the coupons…now when the wellness coupons print on your receipt it states “one coupon per transaction”, not able to add a manufacturer coupon to those anymore, I’ll bet in no time we wont be able to use two coupons with a BOGO or a BOGO manufacturer coupon with a BOGO sale, making both items free…and wont be able to combine other Rite Aid coupons with manufacturers…some deals are just too good…there probably losing alot of money…i knew sooner or later they would catch on… 🙂
I just did two transactions today, both with Wellness coupons and manufacturer coupons and they worked just fine. Wondering if you are reading it to mean you can’t use any other coupons in the transaction? I think it just means that you can’t use duplicate Wellness coupons in the same transaction. I hope I’m understanding your comment right, if not just ignore me. 🙂
I got 3 wellness $1 off cleaning products q with the receipt. i also noticed it one per transaction. so, i did 3 transactions in the same store from the same cashier. she said no problem, i can buy. as i know the coupon is one per transaction, so, i bought 3 raid in 3 transactions within 15 minutes. if i submit 3 receipts for $5 j&j rebate, do u think i can get it?
Is Claritin-D involved in the allergy rebate? I know regular Claritin is (specific cts.) but just wondering if D is included. Thx:)
HI Collin. I just found $1/2 post pebbles cereal (exp 04/25/10) no size restriction and a $1/2 post honey bunches of oats or just bunches (exp 04/25/10) good for 13 oz or larger from 03/14/10 SS. The rite aid deal is 13-24 oz.
whoever wants to buy brita by spending a little, can buy it along with amo complete. 1 brita 3 pk 12.99, amo 7.99. total 20.98. use $5/$20 vv, $2 brita q, $2 brita vv, $2 amo complete q. pay $9.98. get back 7.99 for complete. if you buy another brita (25-12.99)=12.01 during april scr, you will get a $5 gift card.
Where’d you get the Brita coupons?
Did anyone else have problems buying the Crest Vivid White toothpaste for $2.99? It rang up as $4.49 at the store, and when I tried to argue with them, the people there insisted that the $2.99 was the price after the rebate. I’m pretty sure that’s not true. It should ring up as $2.99, and then you would get a $2 scr on top of that. Am I right? And if so, how do you usually argue with them? Nobody there would listen to me.
I am planning on making my Rite Aid trip tomorrow so I don’t know if I will have the same problem with the toothpaste but you are right, it is $2.99 before the SCR. For next time I would bring a copy of the circular with you or pick one up on your way in the door if they have them there. In my circular it shows that the price is $2.99, then that you would get a $2.00 SCR and that your final price would be $0.99. If actually showing them the ad doesn’t help then I would definitely ask for a manager.
I just left Rite Aid with the SAME problem. The cashier fought with me saying that the picture in the ad was not the same item I had when the sign for the Crest Vivid White Toothpaste for $2.99 was right below the correct item. The cashier then continued to tell me its because it was a fluoride toothpaste– I asked, “Isn’t all toothpaste fluoride.” After I walked back there again and double checked for her she adjusted the price. Now let’s hope that I don’t have any issues with the SCR– I guess I will find out.
The rebate is for the 3D toothpaste, not the vivid. I was able to find one, at the second store that I went to-on sale for $2.99 with my Wellness card. You probably won’t get the $2 SCR if it’s not the 4.0oz 3D.
I’d try another store, or later in the week. NYS allows customers to file a “Super Refund” if the store charges more than the item costs (regular prices and sale prices).
Oh man, I hope that I can get the rebate. I mean if I don’t then $1.99 for $4.49 toothpaste still isn’t a bad deal! 🙂 Let me know if you find it? Does the product look exactly like the product in the ad?
I had the same problem today with picking out the Crest Vivid White. When it rang up 4.49 I knew it wasn’t the right one. It has to be the Crest 3D Vivid White and it will ring up for 2.99. I had a problem finding them because they were on an encap and not with all of the other dental products.
Anyone find the Fresh Start at your Rite Aid? I just have the regular and Naturals Tresemme. Anyone see this product anywhere??
I didn’t see it but plan to go back tomorrow to get some other items and will check again. I would be sure to check the endcaps and all– you NEVER know what they have hidden! 🙂
Here is my transaction today:
Crest 3D Vivid White 2.99
AMO Complete Solution 7.99
Shick Hydro 5 Blade 8.99
Nivea Lip Gloss 2.99
TOTAL: 22.96
Less 1.00 Crest Premium 4/4 P&G
Less $5 off $20 Video Values
OOP: 16.96
Rebates:
Crest 3D Vivid White 2.00
AMO Complete Solution 7.99
Shick Hydro 6.00
Nivea Lip Gloss 2.00
TOTAL: 17.99
So I had a $1.03 MM and found a way to get the Shick Hydro for free!
i bought 3 zyrtec $18.99 in 3 transactions, and qualified for a $25 rite aid gift card for rebate#552.
But just notice, for rebate#553, allergy rewards $20 certificate, they are deducting a $4 coupon. So, instead of counting $18.99×3, they are counting ($18.99-4)x3.
So, to qualify for a $20 certificate, buy more than $75.
I actually used 1 $4 mfr q and a $4 rite aid zyrtec q. So, I don’t know which one they deducted.
IT lookes like riteaid wants the allergy rebate to be $50 spent after coupons is this correct?
For the riteaid allergy rebate it looks like you have to spend $50 after all coupons. Is this correct? I dont want to spend the 50 up front if the coupons dont count.
for the $25 gift card rebate#552, just buy $50 allergy products. no matter whether you use coupons or not.
but for $20 certificate rebate#553, buy $75 but if you use one $4 mfr coupons, buy more than $75 because i checked my status in zyrtec program and found they deducted $4 coupons. so, instead of showing my purchase $18.99, they counted ($18.99-$4)=$14.99. I already bought 3 Zyrtec 18.99×3=56.97 but it came 44.97.
remember there are 2 programs but the good part is, if you buy during april scr, your purchase will count for the two programs simultaneously. also, you can use $4 zyrtec coupons before they expire . look for $4 my riteaid coupon (exp 04/15/10) or $2 rite aid allergy coupon whatever is available right now.
So I went to Rite Aid this morning and encountered another cashier that was questioning whether or not I should be allowed to use the Value Video coupons in combination with a manufacturer coupon. The manager let it go but wasn’t clear himself if it should be allowable. I know that Collin states that it is allowed in her rite aid guide but the coupon policy doesn’t actually address value video coupons. It does say we can use a circular coupon in combination with manufacturer and they do appear the same with the rite aid logo and manuf coupon written across the top. I feel guilty every time I use them together because I don’t want to get anybody in trouble. Can anybody put me at ease about using these together??
I have registered for the Brita replacement filter notification and have never been able to find the $2 off coupon. Does anyone know where I can find it? I got my notification email to replace, but there is not a coupon there either. Any help with be greatly appreciated.
Finally found it. Sorry…also for the typo in my post.
I tried the BOGO Cover Girl cosmetic coupon with the rite aid sale of Buy One get one for 50%off. The manager said they would only take off the price of the 50% off product. Is that correct for the rite aid policy? The Simply Ageless foudation was $15.99 with the second one being $7.98. I wanted to just pay the $7.98 for both instead of the $15.99. Do you guys think the managers idea is correct?
Kim, the brita coupon is in here collin’s post 04/11-01/17.
