What is the coupon code?
Its coming up 9.99 for me to. I’d actually like to try one if I could try it for free or the cost of shipping.
YUCK
Wow! You ladies are great. Overwhelmingly so!
This is Lydia from Party In My Pants. We had no earthly idea our offer would be this popular and our website crashed due to the high traffic volume. We’ve had no choice but to end our Cloth Pad Curious offer early. Thanks for your understanding and patience!!
The rest of our Earth Day offer is still good through April 30th – FREE shipping + 10% off any order with code EARTH10.
Welcome to the Party!
Best,
Lydia Daum
That’s hardly a party, Lydia. You shouldn’t make offers you can’t keep. And, you so easily say too bad, folks. I’ll get my cloth pads from another vendor who respects their future customers.
She has a right not to drive herself broke giving away FREE materials. This is a tiny company, and Lydia is a very sweet person. There’s no reason to be so snarky just because you might have missed out on something FREE.
…I might add that even Caron (the yarn company) closed their freebie offer early due to overwhelming response. I will never understand why people get so cranky over a cancelled freebie. It’s not like you had to do anything but click the link!
She doesn’t owe the entire female population a free cloth liner. As my preschooler says, “You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.” I’m sure there are plenty of freebies you swiped before others were able to get it. Would it have been better if Lydia said that only the first 500 liners were free? Maybe you wouldn’t be so angry about that if she had placed a limit. Besides, shipping can cost a lot, so that is still a good deal if you really want one. I guess you’ll have to pay shipping by buying “from another vendor who respects their future customers.”
You got it!!! Set a limit. They also have not had the courtesy to answer emails or phone calls, calls that they do not know whether it’s about this or some other question. Not good business, folks, I don’t care how sweet they are.
Is there some kind of list to get on to see when it opens back up. just worndering
No
thanks for no thanks, I’ll stick with the disposables. This would only work for someone with light periods. MY periods are too heavy for this type of thing, I need tampon and back up pads!!! Can’t imagine rinsing out blood clots from cloth pads…YUCK!!!
Whoa, that’s wayyy too much information, lady. Your comment is YUCK! lol
Be nice…I mean we all get periods.
I had the same problem and with the Diva Cup it holds a lot more. On some days I would have to change my tampon almost every hour and I can go 3-4 hours without emptying the Diva Cup on those days.
It’s after 7AM EST on Friday and one can still not order their product. Hope they get this thing fixed.
What’s next, reusable tampons? haha
These work GREAT for cleaning up spills!! If any of you are on the fence or are thinking ahead for how you can get even more milage out of these things, just do it! My 2 year old spilled her milk all over the floor and I just ran to my dryer and grabbed a fresh Party in my Pants and it soaked it ALL up! Also great for dirty hands on the go and muddy faces. These are for so much more than their intended use. Does anyone know if these come in suede or velvet, or something really soft like rabbit fur?
I used to be in the “eeeeew” camp and thought there was no way I could use cloth because my periods were too heavy (cloth actually works better and I’ve had fewer spills! Woot!). Then I had to live across the street from a landfill for two years. Just because we don’t see the trash we create doesn’t mean it isn’t being dumped in someone else’s backyard. Those absorbent gel thingies in diapers don’t break down. And even users of disposable feminine products can be gross, unsanitary and inconsiderate — believe me, I used to have to clean a public restroom. I firmly believe that within two generations, people will wake up and become more responsible and lots of this disposable stuff will either be banned or heavily taxed. We only have one planet. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
Another day of funny comments! I love it!
I just about threw up my lunch….
I spent a lot of time trying to get this offer yesterday and after giving them my email address the site went down. I will not be purchasing anything from this company. There should have been a limit mentioned if the company is so small. Not pleased and will not be ordering from this company in the future.
Totally agree with you! They also did NOT answer emails or phone calls. Not too professional.
Yes, the least they could do is answer their emails when some of us had questions. Why list an email if you/re not using it???
Hmm. Do you think this could absorb around 2 cups of period? Seems like every few months I get those unusually heavy ones. The worst is when it’s humid–like opening a fire hydrant.
One upside to using the cloth ones would be that I’d have to quit flushing them. Can’t tell you how many times my husband’s had to reach in there and pull a clogged liner out. And no more of them popping up in the yard when the septic tank gets overloaded.
I have laughed SO HARD reading these comments. Holy Cow.
dude i got someone else confirmation in my email. it even has a different email but it got send to my email.
i wrote to them yesterday after being unable to order, they were nice enough to give me a code of having my purchase 9.99 off along w/ free shipping.
Hideous! And I am not talking about the product. Some of you, in your quest for “Free”, are very ugly in your approach.
Babs why be so ugly.
BEST. COMMENT THREAD. EVER. LOL! I’m surprised at how many people have never heard of cloth pads, yet not surprised at the controversy. 🙂
I’d hate to have the plumbers bill for those of you who flush pads and tampons. If you have a Septic System that is one of the worst things you can do. Our house had a septic tank for 30 years. We never had to have it cleaned. But that was because we were trained not to put stuff that shouldn’t be flushed.
