over 80 positive comments and plenty of ways to make it healthy. Change it up, there are plenty of ways to add more veggies and reduce the fat content; and I have 3 degrees in health and nutrition, you just have to be innovative.

I agree! The recipe is great because there is so much room to adjust it to your own tastes. Go vegetarian and replace the pepperoni with a meat substitute of your choice. Maybe you like hawaiian pizza, throw in some pineapple and ham. Have fun with it. If you don’t like canned condensed soups, there are tons of recipes online that show you how to make your own from scratch (and it’s not all that hard). I’m not a fan of using canned biscuits, so I plan on using my own pizza dough recipe, cutting it into thick pieces, and stirring it into the mix. I really don’t think I’ve ever met a recipe I didn’t tinker with a little.

Yippy, I love this receipe! I have way too many cans of biscuits since I got them for free. I have been trying to get rid of them before they explode in my frig.
    Thanks! Paula

Another way to make it lighter is to precook you pepperoni in the microwave on paper towels. Like bacon, that makes it crispy and gets out a lot of fat without sacrificing flavor. I always do this with pepperoni to avoid the orange oil slick effect on my pizza!

    • Annie

great tip. The orange oil is very scary but my kids love peperoni.

      • Natalie

You could always use turkey pepperoni to make it healthier too.

I am going to make this on Saturday. It looks so good! I’ll be adding a can of olives to it as well. Yummy!

I’ve actually never thought of putting biscuits in a casserole type dish, but this looks really good, I’ll definitely have to try it soon 🙂 Thanks!

The recipe looks yummy and easy. Love these type of recipes when we’re all running in a million different directions right before or after dinner.

how funny i just made this dish last week for the first time for my family. i did mess up though and did not cut the bisqcuits instead layed them flat in the pan and it still came out just fine. my recipe did not call for any soup just pizza sauce. really good!

  11. Tiphanie

I’m making this right now and totally messed up. I layered buiscuts on bottom then put pepperoni on top, poured sauce over that and then layered more peperoni and buiscuts. I’ll let you know how it turns out. BTW: Payed more than 7 dollars and took longer then 7 minutes.
