CVS has the buy $15 dollars and receive $5 ECB this week. I bought 2 Nivea body washes and two lip care products- then used the buy 1 get one for the body washes (June ALLYOU mag)+ $4 off coup’s (5/2 RP) and buy 1 get 1 lip care + $2 off coup. Gained $3.00 after ECB!
I was at the commissary yesterday and they have Nivea lip care for $1.25 as their everyday price. This would be a GREAT deal to use the coupons with!

Is it ok to stack the B1G1 coupon and the $2 off coupon? Seems like you’d be using 2 manufacturer’s coupons for the same item…

No, you wouldn’t be able to stack the $2/2 coupon with the bogo coupon on 2 items. However, you could stack the bogo coupon with the $1/1 coupon. The bogo coupon would go towards the free item and the $1/1 coupon would go towards the item you’re paying for.
I was at target the other day and they told me I could not use a B1g1 free coupon and 2 $1/1 coupons because I was getting one for free already. I was stumped and had no idea what to say. Anyone else know how to handle that?
You can have ONE manufacturer’s coupon PER product. You should be able to use the BOGO coupon with ONE of the $1 OFF/one coupons. As someone noted previously, the $1 OFF coupon is technically applied toward the item you are paying for and the BOGO coupon is for the item you are getting free. You cannot use the BOGO coupon with TWO of the $1 off coupons because this is three coupons and you are only “purchasing” two products.

I’ve tried this at my Irving, TX CVS & Walgreens – neither will let me do this – even when I point out I am using the extra coupon for the item that I am paying for !! Bummer….
At my local walmart they had pkgs of nivea lip balm that contained 2 in each pkg for $2.47. I bought 2 pks, used the buy1/get1 and the $1off and got 4 total lip balms for a $1.47
What zip code did you use for the nivea lip care coupon ?

Not sure what states HEB is located in, but here in Texas they have Nivea products b1g1 free this week. Not sure what the price is on the lipcare, but I’ll be checking it out! Also, I have had trouble before at certain CVS with combining b1g1 coupons with another man. coupon. I know that’s not the case with all, but some won’t allow. I just go to another CVS if one gives me trouble.
I actually just came back from CVS & realized that one of the nivea body washes I purchased didn’t apply to the ECB….:(. I swore I saw it labeled with the yellow tag in store! (buy $15 select Nivea, etc etc) Now, I was wondering if I go and return it tomorrow do I get the full $5.99 I paid even though I used the $4/1 coupon or do I get 1.99 & the coupon? Someone please help 🙂
No you only get back what you paid, and you lose the coupon. It stinks, if they still have it on hand and haven’t mailed it off yet you may be able to ask for it back, but as far at I know you won’t get the coupon or the full price because the company doesn’t get reimbursed for coupons and items that were returned.
You will not be able to get the coupon back but you get the amount of the coupon back. So (easy numbers), if you buy something for $4 and use a $2 coupon you will get the full $4 back. The store already sent in for the coupon so they cannot keep that, they give it back to you. Remember, coupons are like cash.
I see…….guess I’ll have to go back tomorrow to get it fixed. Sucks though coz I only had 1 coupon & needed $4.13;the 5.99 body wash would’ve covered it. Thanks 😀
You should get the amount for the coupon back. The store WILL be reimbursed for the coupon. When they send the coupons in, they’re not matching up item-to-item receipts and coupons used. It’s based on their inventory and the amount of coupons sent in. They WILL be reimbursed for that coupon and they should give you the cash for it when you return it. I’ve never returned something and had them not give me the full amount (unless it was a store coupon, which is just a discount that you’re not reimbursed). Obviously, it’s unethical to buy items with coupons with the intent to return them to get the cash, but if you are genuinely needing to return it, it’s not a big deal.
I cant wait for my First issue of all you mag….. I am trying to be patient but it is so hard..
