anyone been able to find that bar soap MM deal? Several stores I checked out last week had either none, 1, or 2 but never 3.
my store only had one this morning, so I did this deal instead:
bought 1 neut. acne soap bar $2.24 (25% off 2.99)
bought 2 neut. age shield face suncreen @ $8.24 (25% off 10.99)= $16.48
subtotal $18.72
used 2 $2/1 suncare coupons
PLUS the Wags additional online printable coupons for this week (expires today!) for $2 off nuetrogena suncare (age shield, spectrum, or ultra sheer liquid),so it took $4.00 off for buying 2
TOTAL= $10.72
got $10 RR
OOP was only .72!!! Nice, since it was $25 worth of stuff. 🙂
That seems to happen every time they have a deal like that at Walgreens….hard to figure out whether it is a coincidence or whether they just never order in more product. I like Walgreens for many reasons, but I think the deals are sometimes few and far between unless you are the first person in the door on Sunday morning…
My Walgreens is notorious for not restocking after Sunday. They only stock once a week, so when an item is gone, it’s gone! This is especially true on sale items or RR items.
All the store I checked where sold out of soap. They said that it might be something they are getting rid of.
I see a few things I might try. In last weeks PG it had $2/1 listerine coupons. Should I try that moneymaker deal several times. I imagine I’d have to mail it to different names/ addresses. That would be sweet though.
Has anyone been able to print 4 Skippy Coupons. It’ll only let me do 4. Or do I have to try my labtop?
For the scrubbing bubbles deal, buy 2 get $1 RR, since the scenario listed has you buying 4, would you get $2 RR back? I have never done WAGS deals for RR so I dont know, maybe theres a limit?
You only get one RR per deal per transaction. If you want more than one they have to be bought separately.

went to Walgreens today, tried to use the Ben Gay. Donna the cashier was not having it today. She said she couldn’t use the coupon because it was more than the merchandise! Wouldn’t budge on adjusting or anything. Mgr same way.. Didn’t buy it, bought the razor deal and because they had school supplies last chance (really good deals!) I had $6.00 and wanted to use my $5RR from Razor. She then said I am really not suppose to use this because it is for your next vist!! I wanted to say, “ok I will drive around the block and come in for my next vist!” Crazy, she did it anyway but said she couldn’t do it next time. I told her fine because there will not be a next time at that Walgreens!! UGH!!!! FRUSTRATING!
I’d call corp. because I had a similar issue at a walgreens and about 20 min after calling I received a call from that same store manager who was very rude about my coupons and he was singing a totally different tune! He never gives me any problems now, I’d say corp didn’t like him being rude to paying customers (be it with coupons or cash) Also I did the bengay deal last week (at a different Walgreens) and the first coupon scanned but the second one beeped, so the cashier looked and said it’s only 4.99 so I’ll have to adjust it down a penny, so I said no problem 🙂
You know mine did the same thing last week. I’ve decided to just not use the ones that are higher than the item unless elsewhere. They have their registers programmed to catch them and it’s always a hassle.
the registers are not programmed to catch it, ( in a way) and it is very easy to get around that. The way it works is that the Bengay was $4.99 and you were using a $5 coupon, it beeped because you were a penny short. What u need to do is get something else (like a candy bar) so your total goes over the $5 and then it will not beep.
My WAGS, that is right down the street from me, will not let me use my RR that I got that day. They won’t even let you leave and come back and use it. They said you have to use on another day. I will not go to them if I know I have deals that I want to use that days RR’s on. What is so frustrating is the fact that the three WAGS that are in my town, ALL of them have DIFFERENT rules on coupons/RR. The other two, one of them won’t take IP coupons anymore and the other one will not take a coupon over the price of an item and refuse to adjust it down!! I really wish they would come up with a policy that is the same for all the stores and not let each manager make up their own rules.
Check with your local grocery stores and see if they accept the Walgreens RR. I try to use mine at a grocery store then where there’s no restrictions and you don’t have to jump through hoops to use a RR. And when you attempt to use it at your Wags and they tell you that you have to come back another day….make sure to tell them “Well, fine, I’ll use it at the grocery store then and you have just lost that business!” GRRR! I’ve sent a few letters to Target asking them to start accepting Walgreens RR since it is a manufacturer’s coupon….that’d be awesome! No word back yet, though. 🙁

Yes, I have it already. Our local paper is a “weekend” paper it comes out on Saturday and they don’t have one for Sunday. So I already have it. It’s in the Smart Source. 🙂

So I haven’t done Walgreens yet because of distance but I have several Nivea coupons I want to use. If I but 6 of the Nivea BW – will I get RR for each one or is there a limit. Will I have an issue if that’s all I buy? How long do you typically have to use the RR? Thanks!
You would have to do separate transactions for each one to get a register reward for each one. The register rewards are only good for 2 weeks. Hope that helps!
you will have to buy each one separately. Also, you won’t get another RR if you use the one you receive from your 1st purchase towards your 2nd purchase. Normally @ WAgs, RRs don’t roll, [once in a blue moon, you’ll come across a deal where it does roll, so you’d have to wait til someone tries to verify if it rolls or not) so you’d have OOP for each bottle.
Is it possible to use 2 of the same ad-in coupons for 2 deals? The $3 coupon(supposing I get it) for both Listerine and Reach?

After I used my $5 off Bengay coupon, I received $1 off Bengay from Catalina. It says redeem at Walgreen and looks just the same as RR. I wonder if it is Walgreen coupon? If it is Walgreen coupon, may I combine with $3 off Bengay coupon?? Thanks ahead for any help.

Joce, does it say at the top whether it’s a manufacturer coupon or a store coupon? If it is a manufacturer coupon, you won’t be able to use it with your $3 coupon, but if it’s a store coupon, you can use both.
this is the confusing part. I looked at all my Walgreens Register Rewards, and they are all marked as manufacturer Q. Same as the $1 off Bengay that I received from Catalina!! I always thought RR are Walgreen store Q. I guess they are manu. Q as well!!??
Yes, RR’s are man q’s. i’ve started using them over places rather than Wags. Cuts out having to find a filler to use them.
Has anyone been able to actually find the Scrubbing Bubbles toliet brush refills at a Walgreens? I have looked at the one in my small town and at one of the ones in my parents much larger town, and NO refills anywhere!! I would rather do the deal at Wags because you can get RR…….

Well, I am back and to let you know that I was able to use my coupon that said “Oxi liquid” on the regular ALL Detergent and they accepted it, so Yipee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have tried other places and no luck! I wish I could use them other place then Wags, the reg priced stuff in there is so expensive!
Several grocery stores in the Chicagoland area take Wags RR so I don’t even use them at Wags anymore. That way I don’t have to worry about filler items or rolling them on different items.

I had 2 $5 off coupons for the Bengay stuff last week. I bought 2 of them for $4.99 each, so I made a tiny bit on them, and I’m going to give them to my grandparents for Christmas. 🙂 I have all sorts of stuff I’m going to give my aunt and uncle for Christmas. Gotta stretch my dollar, and I know it’s stuff they’ll use and enjoy! I got 2 boxes of Always minis for my sister- they’re the kind that fit into smaller undies like thongs. Just had a frustrating experience at my local Walgreens. I tried to do the buy one get one free reach tooth brush coupon and the walgreens coupon in one transaction like listed above. The manager would only give me an 1.49 for my b1g1 coupon. This was after the cashier told me very rudely she hated coupons!

Just so everyone knows, I found Corn Flakes selling for a $1 at my Walgreens !!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t believe it.
