I recently used them for a great deal for a crab house in Washington, DC. Easy transaction… the restrictions were a lot less (better!!) than the restaurant.com deal for the same restaurant (since it costs the restaurant less.) That might not be a big deal for most restaurant meals, but it was huge for a crab house. One thing to note – we couldn’t use it the same day we purchased it – but it could be used the next day (and was.) Too bad the $25 parking ticket I got while we were at dinner canceled out my savings 🙂
I have used them for several services in San Diego such as pilates classes, salon visits and restaurant certificates. They are similar to groupon (which I also use) but the part I like best is there is usually a week to take advantage of the deal (unless it sells out), unlike groupon which only offers the deals for a single day. Overall, I think it is a great deal and whenever I’ve used the certificates the retailers have been really nice about it.
Full disclosure: I do not work for the company but I did interview with them and one of the investors is my cousin’s best friend.
Where is Chicago???
I signed up with them but they’re not doing deals in Phoenix yet, they sent me an e-mail stating that they were hoping to start the deals in Phoenix sometime this summer. I love Groupon so I’m thrilled there’s another place like groupon so I can have more choices on great deals 🙂
This is just like http://www.groupon.com but less cities. I love groupon, and now they have a rewards program that offers you free stuff if you are a daily visitor! 🙂
Doesn’t look like Chicago is a part of this yet.
