Old Navy One Day Wonder’s Sale: $2 Tank Tops!
If you are in need of some tank tops for your summer wardrobe, head over to your local Old Navy store this Saturday, June 12th, where you’ll be able to snag tanks for women and girls for only $2 (regularly priced at $6.50–$8.50). Select styles only; excludes embellished styles; Limit 5 per customer. Most stores open early just for this super occasion, but call your local store for hours. Check out the Old Navy Facebook page for more information.
Are you going to brave the crowd?! Let us know!
(Thanks, Frugal Coupon Living and Clippin’ With Carie!)
I only live 5 minutes away. I am going tonight to scope out the selection and what time the store opens. I love these One Day Wonders! Thank you for posting.
Does anyone know about their price adjustment policy? Can I buy them today and get a price adjustment tomorrow?
breanna ~ from previous posts on this subject each store is different. You’ll have to ask your store if they allow it. Mine has in the past, so I may ask tonight while I’m there and buy them. Remember you will have to go tomorrow for the price adjustment… nice thing is you can go at your own leisure and miss the crowds đ
I was wondering the same thing about the price adjustment. I have done this before without any trouble (like the $1 scarves around Christmas time), but I didn’t know if Old Navy had changed their policy. Thanks!!!
Does anyone know if their are any other coupons out their to make this an even better deal?
awesome. i just called my old navy (crabtree valley in raleigh) and they do price adjustments if you bring in the receipt. i will be buying my tanks tonight and going to get the credit tomorrow. thanks collin!
I work at Old Navy and the One Day Wonders are always a great thing!!! I love em! It should be a mad house but it’s lots of fun!!! Whenever someone can save a buck is a great thing! Happy Shopping everyone!
Are these the tanks that were $1 last year? Or are these ones not the plain, bare-bones racerbacks?
I work at Old Navy, and they aren’t racerback. My store hasn’t had any of those in a long time.
I am so bummed I will be away at the beach and not near an ON tomorrow. Anyone wanna go for me..Collin? đ It is a great deal and I racked up last year. I am going to try and convince someone to go for me tomorrow. I need new tanks!
Another sale will come along!
I hope they include the long ones for tall people. Maybe I will go today and hide the 5 I want if they won’t do a price adjustment. I def want to get in on this deal. I’m lacking summer clothes.
gee…with so many people having gone in advance to have the price adjusted Saturday, and people “hiding” them, it’s no wonder the selection is never good on Saturday ( THE DAY OF THE SALE) when I can get there. I guess I can go and buy the wrong sizes/colors and hope to be able to exchange them later. Is “hiding” of merchandise common practice??? Do many of you, on this site, do this? So often I go shopping and am unable to find items…maybe they are are hidden around the store…sheesh!
I bought the plain ones last year for $1 during a similar deal. All they had left were brown size large. A cashier told me I could buy them for $1 and then exchange later. I did and had no problems. So if you go later and the selection isn’t what you would like, buy them anyway and exchange later.
Olympia, WA store opens at 7am, just called.. I guess it’s gonna be an early morning.. I am thinking of brining my 6 year old.. he counts at a customer right? đ
I would recommand buying these a size smaller as they tend to strech out alot by the time you wear them all day
I called my local store and it is a no go on the price adjustments. She said they do price adjustments on regular sales but not the one day wonder deals, for those you have to go in on the day.
To me it makes sense that you would have to go in “on the day”…good grief! That is THE DAY of the sale…I just don’t get people figuring out how they will make sure to get theirs with an unfair advantage…should we all start going a week in advance…so that there is not one single item left for sale on the DAY OF THE SALE???
I agree! That doesn’t seem fair to buy up all the sales items ahead to miss the crowd and get a discount later. If you want to get the sale, you should have to go the day of and fight the crowd! On a side note, I went to old navy later on today (mine is 100 miles away so I knew I wouldn’t make it by 7am when they opened!) and there was not a tank top left to be had!
I guess those of us with a Old Navy store close by should count our blessings!
I just got back with many tanks. Plus I used the 5 off coupon off 25 dollars and got many clearance items for a baby shower I have coming up. Then I went to my car and dumped my first load. Then went back for more tanks and more clearance items. What an awesome morning. Thanks :).
I went this morning thinking the sale started at 9 am but it started at 7 am. I bought some for me and some for the kids. They do seem large so I only bought a few for the kids. I need some new clothes badly so I really am shopping for me but it is hard not to think about getting things for back to school in a couple of months. Great deal but not as good as the one that seem to be unadvertised awhile back–lots of sizes and colors. These were just basic colors by the time I got there but still very, very happy. I also struck gold with my preteen when we went shopping there with the $5 off $25 coupon over Memorial day. Shopped clearance at 50% off and with the coupon. Got her some nice summer clothes for camp plus I had tank tops from the last sale and she was very, very happy.
I found a clearance at Walmart last week on clothes. Bought a bunch of clothes for $1 a piece–about as good as the thrift store. I sew so I spruce items up and make simple shorts, capris, and skirts to go with the tops or visa versa. I also embroider characters or whatever on kids clothes (which I will do with Old Navy solid).
When you shop sales or for bargins, you have to be flexible and creative with what you find and kind of be ahead of the game plan, for instance, I have been thinking about back to school clothes for several months. I watch for end of winter sales, etc. I also am selective because I don’t want clutter in my house so I only stock up on things that I know will be used.
I got some today but when I was leaving the store around 11:30 there was only a few left. WOW they went fast. Thanks Collin. I don’t have girls but I am giving them to my Neices.
I went at 7:30 in san marcos, texas and there were like 10 people in the store and TONS of tank tops. I bought 10 tanktops!!!
I went into the store at 7:30am and it wasn’t crowded at all. I was also given a $5 off $25 coupon good until 11am. Our store also had $2 flip flops and $3 water bottles. Plus they had an extra 30% off clearance. I got a ton of things for very cheap.
