Target: 2 FREE Packs of Vanish Drop-Ins!
Another Target deal:
Vanish Drop-Ins Continuous Toilet Bowl Cleaner (I’m not sure the price?)
Use the new buy one get one free Target store coupon from here
Plus, stack with the buy one get one free manufacturer’s coupon from here
Final cost 2 for FREE!
(Thanks, Kiran & Lee!)
Note: This deal is a YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). In the Target coupon policy it clearly states that you can use a Target coupon and manufacturer’s coupon together, which means that using both coupon above IS allowed. However, since you are getting both free you may have a not so coupon friendly cashier give you a hard time.
Yeah…yeah…yippeee…it worked for me….And if there is anyone that this deal would NOT work for, it would be me. I have horrible luck with BOGO situations! Hope everyone else has the same wonderful success as I did at my CA Target.
Tried at the Target near me, I asked the manager and they would not allow me to use both.
What zip code has the B1G1F coupon?
77379
Use zip code 54607 and click on the “Household” category! 🙂
I used zip code 44714 earlier today to print mine.
How exactly does this work? I understand how it works pairing a BOGO sale with a BOGO coupon, but is this similar in any way?
Since you have 1 Target coupon, Target is going to give you one item free. The manufacturer is going ot give you the other item free. Essentially it is just like using a BOGO coupon during a BOGO sale.
I did this twice today and the cashier didn’t even blink when she scanned the coupons! The BOGO automatically takes off $2.14 and the Target one doesn’t even beep!
So which coupon should i give the cashier 1st??
couldn’t get it, print limit has already been reached! DARN!
Thanks for the zip codes. No worky worky here. 🙁
Some other sites have people saying that they purchased 4 for free combining these coupons. Is this how it works or should it only be 2 free ?
If you have 2 manufacturer’s BOGO coupons and 2 Target BOGO coupons, you can get 4 FREE.
YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS AT PUBLIX, THEY TAKE MFC AND TARGET COUPONS. I AM GOING TO TRY THIS TOMMORROW.
How do you explain this if you get “one of those” cashiers? I’ve never done a BOGO transaction before because I’m scared that they’ll say no and I have NO IDEA how to explain them.
I usually say something like “the target coupon is allowing me one FREE with purchase of another. I am *purchasing* the one I need to with the mfg coupon, because they are going to reimburse your store the face value, etc”
The way it makes sense to me is this (lets pretended that the price of the item is $3.00):
The Target coupon asks the cashier for the price of the item, she enters $3.00.
The manufacturer coupon asks for the price of the item, the cashier enters $3.00.
The coupon policy states that both coupons can be used together (one store coupon AND one manufacturer coupon per item).
$6.00 is taken off.
Figuring out “the store is giving me one for free and the manufacturer is giving one for free” just confuses things to me. But you may have to explain it a couple of ways so the more reasons why it should work that you have in your arsenal, the better!
Should it make my transaction less likely to beep if I give the cashier my Target Q first and then Manufacturer Q 2nd, or vice versa?
manu first
In my experience with these deals, I usually put the manufacturer’s BOGO first. I don’t know why, it really doesn’t matter.
You shouldn’t have any beeps, it should all come off automatically! 🙂
FYI in regards to Vanish Drop-ins
If you purchased, used or believe you suffered any damage from Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets between September 1, 1999 and August 3, 2004, you may be entitled to a cash payment.
On December 9, 2004, the Court will decide whether to approve a proposed Class Action in which Plaintiffs have alleged that Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets, cause damage to toilet components and related property and that the Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablet label fails to warn of this potential damage and that the label is misleading. The lawsuit is a resolution of 3 class action lawsuits. If the Settlement is approved, a Fund of 3.5 million to 4 million dollars will be established to reimburse purchasers, users or property owners who have sustained damage as a result of the use of Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets.
The manufacturers of Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets denies the allegations and believes that Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets are an effective and appropriate product when used as intended. Similar lawsuits are pending against the manufacturers of 3 other in-tank toilet cleaning products. However, in order to avoid the uncertainty and expense of litigation, the manufacturer of Vanish Drop-ins® Bleach Tablets and plaintiffs have reached a proposed settlement.
In order to be eligible for a cash payment, you must submit a claim form. Information on how to obtain a claim form and how to submit a claim form, either by mail or file online, can be found on this web site.
Interesting…
I suppose they could be corrosive.
But to be honest, I never use any drop-in product and must replace toilet parts quite often. Indeed, today I bought some replacement parts. I blame my municipal water company and how they treat the water.
Incidentally, if you go to a home improvement store, the business on the toilet aisle is quite brisk.
I swear, though if you thought had to spend $10 replacing a toilet part due to a cleaning product, just stop using it.
It’s obviously a little older, so take it with a grain of salt, but i had passed on buying it when there was a good deal during Kmart super coupon doubles event because of that
I only had the BOGO Target coupon today when I went yet I found a $2.00 off 2 Scrubbing Bubbles product peelie on a spray product and was able to get both for $.04 which was still a great deal!
worked for me got 10 free!
Me too, got 20 free!!
How did you manage this…lots of computers?
Got 4 free, no problems and no beeps!
I don’t shop there enough to know, but does Target have a 1 coupon per item coupon ratio rule like Wags, or do they allow you to use multiple coupons on one item? I just printed off an online Target coupon for $3 off of a Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer, and I have a $5 manufacturer coupon already. Should make for a sweet deal. Thanks all!
I just answered my own question: Target accepts one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon for the same item. Yay Target! Here’s hoping my scheming works.
when i went to get the scrubbing bubbles free at target they made me pay the sales tax??!!
I usually have to pay sales tax even after coupons have been taken off. It is a bummer. I didn’t have to pay sales tax on items I bought with a Staples rewards check. Don’t know why.
if you live in a state where tax is charged pre-coupon, it gets you every time! At one time Target & CVS store specific coupons would reduce local sales tax for me, but not at CVS anymore. I think it still works at Target like that, but I haven’t been bothered with figuring out receipts where I’ve used both MQ & TQ to see if it still holds true.
at most stores, it is stated that you will have to pay the sales tax on the item after using a coupon. at least that’s what I have read.
It says on the coupon (fine print) that “Consumer pays any Sales Tax”
I suggest going to the younger looking guys at the registers, over the cranky/stingy looking people. I totally impressed a high school/college age kid with my mad couponing the other day. He was totally floored with how much I saved, and I even told him about the SC Johnson rebate (which now I have maxed out).
I really think it depends on the alignment of the moon & stars b/c one time I went to a younger looking guy, thought I’d have no problem with my coupons and he questioned each and every coupon, I had to dig through my bag to pull it out just so he could see I wasn’t ‘getting over on him’ like he kept saying every 2 seconds. Took me almost a half hour to check out while my sister was able to walk to the food court, get us drinks and I still wasn’t finished when she came back!!
You are so right about the alignment of the moon and stars. I have been through both ways with the young guys. It just depends, on any given day it can go wrong.
Yeah, it’s funny. I rarely have any coupon problems at Target, but when I did, it was a Target and a mfg bogo Q stacked–with a young male cashier. It’s the only time I had to pull out my Target coupon policy, and even after reading it, he just could not wrap his head around it. (And I really can’t blame him for that!) He was nice about it and just sent me to customer service, where they had to get a trainer to walk the customer service person through the transaction. I thought for sure it would be a problem, but she clearly understood what was going on.
Not neccessarily-I thought that too until I got a kid who looked about 16 @ Target who turned out to be the coupon scrooge. I had over $150 in my cart and about 20 coupons and he made me search for every single item when the coupon beeped!
Same here – the two worst times I’ve had at Target, both with BOGO situations, both with young male cashiers who kept saying “you can’t get a free with a free” whatever that means. I told them the store would be paid by the manufacturer for the one item, so Target wasn’t giving me anything extra. But no, they had ear blockage and glazed-over eyes and didn’t listen to a word I said. They even tried to tell me it’s in the coupon policy. When I showed them that it’s not, they got that glazed-over look again and repeated “you can’t get a free with a free.” Too much friggin trouble.
LOL Cherry picking cashiers. I agree about the young guys, but sometimes they really have no clue and they have to get help on everything and it takes forever.
Some of the young looking male cashiers have couponing mothers who have taught them how to coupon properly 😀 they understand how to use a manufacturers coupon and store coupon even if they’re both a BOGO.
Since my Publix takes Target coupons, I did this deal twice yesterday. Four Vanish for free!
i just did this along with the clean and clear deal…got 4 vanish toilet bowl drop-ins and 2 clean and clear products for just 58 cents tax! and usually i have the worst luck with cashiers. there were no beeps with the bogo coupons.
Great deal! Would love to take advantage but our cat drinks out of the toilet, lol!
My Target didn’t carry this product so I’ll try Publix tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
Is there a particular order those having no issues with this deal are handing over the coupons? Are you handing MFG or Target coupons first? Thanks.
I do MFG first then Target
Does anyone know if you can use the Target web coupon that says Free 12 ct Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush refills with the purchase of Scrubbing Bubbles toilet gel cleaner ALONG with the manufacturer’s coupon that says Buy One Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel, get a Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush 2-in-1 Starter or Refill Free…..So you should be able to buy one Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel and get the 12 ct Fresh Brush Refills as per the Target web coupon free, along with a free 2-in-1 starter(or refill) as per the the manufacturer coupon? So if I buy one Toilet Cleaning Gel, I should be able to get 2 refills free, right?
I was wanting to ask the exact same question! I have those two coupons, too and that is exactly how I was figuring it. I live in Illinois and I plan on going this week to try this. Sometimes these BOGO and stacking Target coupons can be confusing!!
Worked like a charm at the Sherwood Oregon Target! I just got back with 4 of them for FREE!
No beeps and no problems! Yay! 🙂
it worked for me but i did have to really talk to the cashier. i scanned all the cashiers to see who looked like the best and it seriously was all middle-aged to older woman who i’ve found to be the worst. She argued with me over each of my coupons and at first she wouldnt’ even scan the second BOGO coupon even after i explained it like everyone else has been. i finally asked her to TRY scanning it to see if it would work and it didnt’ even beep or anything so she finally said ok. it was a hassle but i got 4 for free along with getting about $30 bucks worth of stuff for $0.59 cents 🙂
Yay! It worked for me in Lombard, IL. I picked a young woman, and she scanned all of my coupons, gave me $.10 back for my reusable bags, and didn’t blink at the Vanish coupons. I got 8 Vanish drops, a package of Huggies diapers, a scrubbing bubbles Extend-A-Clean starter kit (LOVE this stuff), bread, 2 lean cuisine pizzas, 2 packages Ziploc reusable recyclable containers, and 2 cat toys on clearance. I saved $27.71, and spent $14.79. That’s 13 items at just $1.14 for each item!
Does anyone know if these would qualify for the SCJ $5 MIR?
Just wanted to share:
My cashier was allowing the 1 Target and 1 Manufacturer’s rule, but another Target worker/customer told her that she couldn’t take both on my account. The cashier asked the manager, and yes they can take both. I don’t know why that other woman had to stick her nose in my business!
After getting home,I printed out their coupon policy, from https://www.target.com/Coupon-Policy-Store-Merchandise-Information/b?ie=UTF8&node=2223357011 just in case I get one of the cranky cashiers.
I was so excited my Target hates coupons but today I went and stood proud not scared like I usually do and got 1 glad spray, 4 vanish toilet cleaners, 1 dove deo 1 dove spray 4 ziploc containers 1 thing of john freida hair stuff and 2 ring pops(had to keep the kids quiet…lol) all for $5.14 so basically all I paid for was the ring pops and hair stuff…yay so happy!!! She also asked me where I find out all of my deals because she thought it was awesome and I told her about hip2save and she said a customer earlier told her that…..Thanks Collin you are doin and awesome job ….Flint,MI
Didn’t worke for me…They said i have to pay for 2 to get 2 free 🙁
Thank you! I got 4 for free! No problems at all.
