I just checked it last night it was 4.99 in my walmart in TX

  2. nicci

    What does this product do?

  3. Erin

could someone please explain exactly what this product is? i understand it is dishwasher soap (i think?), but exactly how does it work and what does it do? thank you!! 🙂

    • Danae Hutchinson

It’s an automatic dishwasher detergent dispenser. You don’t have to put detergent in,..you just clip this product to the top shelf and turn it on! I just got one for a good price at Publix last night. My dishwasher hasn’t worked well since we moved here, but the dishes are super sparkly with this detergent! (I’ve done 2 loads already!)

How do i get my walmart to take coupons for stuff when the coupon is more than the amount? they always say i can’t do it.. even if its a $2 coupon for something that is $1.97? it drives me crazy! Is there a specific point about this in the policy that i can show them?By the way i absolutely love this site! and i think my husband is coming around too, lol

    • Devin

I don’t like going to my nearby Walmart b/c they always give me a hard time. The first time I went I was buying 5 things of Pampers wipes with the $2 coupons, they were marked $1.97. They weren’t even printables but told me I could only use one, they went through with the overage, the second time I had no problem using them but she adjusted to the $1.97 which was no big deal to me.

Anyways, my point is they can adjust the coupon price when they scan it.

I’d like to know this to. I spoke to my Walmart Manager about it because I had Pace $4 off coupons and some cashiers were adjusting the price to $2 and not giving me overage while others would let me have the overage. I was told by the manager that it is their policy to not pay overages on coupons and that it would be “addressed” at their next staff meeting.

I got it at Rite Aid last week and used it a few times already. In the package is a soap thing that dispenses over 12 uses. You put the soap thing in the dispenser which, I guess it regulates the soap. The dispenser hangs on the top rack. I didn’t think it was anything miraculous, but I’ll try anything if it’s free.

They are cool i got for at rite aid because i was making money on them

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wahoo! My Rite Aids were all out of these last week, I may try to find them at Wallmart!!

  7. Debbie

I really like these. I never used them before I started getting them for free a couple of months back. But, they clean the dishes really well, and the best thing is, you don’t have to worry about any dishwashing detergent for 12 cycles! Then you change it out easily. You can’t complain with free! 🙂

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My walmart has them in SOuth west FL for $4.97. Still a good deal.

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was just at Walmart, in Sioux Falls, SD, and they were $4.97. Not bad, but they’re basically the same price at Target, too.

  10. patti

Marquette, MI has them for $4.97. Still not a bad price:)

I bought 3 of these from various deals. The first one did great for about 5 washes then it would not move any further around. So I tossed it out and tried the second one, it only worked the first wash! I don’t know if I am doing something wrong?? I just clipped it on and started my dishwasher like normal… Any suggestions? Anyone else have trouble?

    • Kathy

I have used it and liked it. It never gave me any problem like that Julie. Worked for all the loads. I would call the company and get a refund or have them send you some checks.

  12. Michelle K

Please can someoone explain to me why I have to register every single time I go to the Home Solution’s website to print coupons? Thanks

  13. Rachel

WalMart in antioch, ca had them for $1.50!

  14. Xenia

My Walmart has them for 4.97 too, so I skipped them. Thanx for the post anyways

Heads Up! Make sure you use the scanner to check the price. Whoo Hoo, today was my lucky day at Wally World. I hit the jackpot, because when I went and scanned the item, the price on the scanner, came up as $1.00. I could not believe what I had just saw and did a double check to make sure that what I was seeing was for real and to my surprise it scanned again at $1. So, instead of trying to purchase 6 at one time, I only took 3 up to the register because I knew that their was going to be a problem at the front check, because (1) I knew the cashier would second guess the price and (2) I knew that when I pulled out one of my $3 coupons she was going to call a manager. To my surprise, she just scan the coupon. I was like wow, paid.21 cents, including tax and then I go bold and decide to push my luck and went back and picked up 3 more. I went to the same cashier and once again they rang up at $1.00 each.

I think that they may have rang up at that price at my store due to the fact they just finished remodeling and just last week or so had a grand reopening. I do have to add that the packages did have a little dust on them, so maybe that’s why they are priced at $1.00 each, but at $1 each, I can over look the dust, reap the rewards, and be happy to have snag this great find. I checked to see if it was outdated, but can not find and expiration date and here is the bar code # 051700824021. Now hopefully I can get my hands on more of those coupons, but if I do, I bet they will have changed the price.

My total OOP for 6 was .42 including tax

Just went to my Walmart in Hewitt, Texas. My coupon would not scan (big surprise). She told me that because it didn’t have the yellow coloring behind the exp. date, they couldn’t take it. I hate Walmart. I just told her to take them off. My other computer generated coupons wouldn’t scan either, but they had the yellow on it. I printed them from this post. Glad everyone else is getting this deal though.

  17. Elizabeth

Lori – I’ve had that same problem! BTW, I’m in Plano, but I’m from Waco! I’ve been curious lately as to how coupon friendly Waco Walmarts would be when I’m home visiting. I’ve had cashiers tell me that thing about the yellow and I persuade them to scan it anyway and it goes through no problem. Every day is a new struggle!

    • jynga

How does this work if you print in black and white?

    • Lori

It’s kind of hit and miss. Some days they are okay with it and others they do this. CVS is the best here. Walgreen’s is so-so. I did contact Walmart corporate once when they wouldn’t lower the amount of the coupon and the next day I got a call from the store here apoligizing.

  18. Samantha

They were 4.97 in Cordova, TN, too and that’s for the starter kit and enough to do 12 loads. Not worth 1.97 for me when I know I would be shelling out for refills, but keeping my eyes peeled for the 2.50 ones!

    • queenthatiam

i agree and I was so glad that that I hit the jackpot, when they scanned for $1 each….

  19. anonymous

Sadly, I must live in in the same city as qeenthatiam, none left on the shelf.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

QUEENTHATIAM– how much were they according to the sticker??
mine here were labeled $4.97, but i didn’t scan them….. suppose i should have.

    • queenthatiam

the ones that I found, where hiding behind other products. Maybe someone was going to come back and get them. I could not find a shelf label with the price, so that’s when I decided to scanned them and they scanned at $1.00. Also a friend of mines went to the same store, in Warner Robins, GA and was able to find the same product, with the same bar code and it scanned at $1 too.

  21. Jessica

My Wal Mart refuses to take Printed Internet Coupons even WITH the coupon policy in hand! Apparently, according to corporate, each store is allowed to ‘adjust’ the coupon policy to their specific needs. :O
