Need Coupons?! Check out Reader’s Tips & Picks!
How many times have you wished that you had a specific coupon to make a sweet deal even sweeter?! Or been traveling over the weekend and completely forgot to snag a Sunday paper?! Or would give anything to have that sought after rebate form?! If you have experienced the frustration that ensues when you don’t have a needed coupon, rebate form, and or insert, then you’ll definitely want to check out a coupon clipping service! Below, I have highlighted some of the many coupon clipping services available throughout the country (these companies were recommended to me by different Hip2Save readers). They are listed in no particular order with details regarding shipping, handling fees, order requirements etc. If you have personally purchased items from one or more of these companies, please share your experiences in the comment section below.
* American Consumer Services
Offers 3 pounds of whole inserts monthly (minus all the junk pages!), a variety pack of current big city SmartSource, RedPlum and P&G inserts from the last 4 to 6 weeks. You can contact American Consumer Services by email at americanconsumer@comcast.net or by calling 1-866-790-5088 (no, they don’t have a web-site). Please note that the best time to reach them by phone is from 9AM-6PM PST. Be sure to let them know you are a Hip2Save reader and you will receive the first month of coupon inserts for a special discount price of only $30 (***that’s $3 off the regular price of the package***).
* Capri’s Coupons
Offers whole inserts in set of 5. Sets typically range in cost from $2-$2.70 and include shipping.

I often receive emails from readers who do not understand how companies/individuals are legally able to sell coupons since most coupons specifically state “May not be purchased or sold.” Coupon clipping services do not buy or sell coupons…they simply provide the coupons at no charge and then you pay for the time it takes to find the coupons, clip them and send them.
I’m really surprised you didn’t mention ebay. I really prefer it for a number of reason s. I can buy large or small orders (no minimums), shipping is often free and I can I get points or cash back by shopping through certain sites. Also I find that searching and ordering is a little easier.
I agree! I have found that the best prices have been on ebay for whatever I’ve looked for. I never do the auctions, just the ‘buy it now’ option.
I agree as well. And a while back, ebay offered it’s own bonus bucks program. So I earn cash back thru ebates AND ebay. The ebay bucks I can use on any ebay items. Win Win!
I think they’ve started that again.
yeah, I receive them
Completely agree with you all on this one! Ebay is the way to go for coupon buying. Usually ships pretty fast, too. Especially if you pay attention to where its being shipped from – they can come in just 2 days most of the time.
Also, the greatest thing about e-bay, is you kind of feel like your helping out a fellow e-bayer. Sometimes I sell things for a little extra cash, and its nice in this economy to help out others who are struggling just like me.
I feel the exact same way!
They did start the ebay bucks program again each item that is participating will have the amount you get back
Yup, ebay is my preferred source as well. I usually only have one or two specific coupons that I am looking to supplement my newspaper coupons with. Often I get 20 coupons for around $1.50 shipped, and often sellers will combine shipping on multiple auctions. And there are people from all over the country selling, which means you get a choice in the coupon value, on the other sites I have seen they have just the one value of whatever region they are from. In my paper last week, I had Skippy PB 75¢/2 and on ebay I bought 40¢/1 which my store will double. 🙂
I do like ebay for a lot of things, but I find clipping services are great when I just want a few of several different coupons.
I have used Collectable Coupons and was happy with the service. I got all the coupons I ordered and they arrived super fast. I did have to order more than I was looking for, however, to meet the min order requirement. So, looking over this list, I may try one of the services with “No minimum order requirements” depending on what I’m looking for (whole inserts or just a few clipped coupons?) I’d love to hear what other people have to say about these services too. Thanks for a great post.
Thank you for highlighting the reader picks. I wanted to find a coupon clipping service as I do sometimes miss the Sunday paper. 🙂 I will be sure to check these places first.
Thanks for the round-up! I usually just buy extra papers, but I think I will start using the clipping services for most of my extras. I get too many coupons that I dont want buying the whole inserts/paper.
I have used The Coupon Clippers a few times over the past year or so and have been very happy with their service. I also made one purchase on eBay but accidentally bid on an item that charged shipping instead of the free shipping one that I was looking for!
I checked into a few different sites about a month ago, specifically pricing whole inserts, but the sites that I found actually charged more for a paper’s worth of inserts than the $2 that I pay for a newsstand paper! I usually just buy extra papers from the guys who sweat it out in front of Walmart or use EBs and buy them at CVS. I pass on, reuse or recycle the newspapers themselves.
I’ll definitely look into the sites you’ve listed!!! Thanks so much!
I live in a small town and don’t get any of the great coupons that come out. I found WholeCouponInserts.com. They have been great so far and nicely priced. I have to check out the ones listed too. Thanks so much!
I tried checking them out and this is the message on their site “Thank you for visiting! We are doing the whole inserts through paypal invoice right now.
Please email Colleen at lvngwell@yahoo.com and let her know what you would like. she can then send you a paypal invoice!”
So there isn’t a list of what is available and the prices?
If it’s the same Colleen at Coupon Clipping Crew, you might want to check out that site http://www.couponclippingcrew.com to see how they’re going to handle inserts. Got a message from them a couple of weeks ago that — thanks to some good fortune — she is going to be winding down the coupon clipping business to fulfill her dream of running a cafe. It was a great service, too, so I’m glad for her, but sad for me!
You didn’t type in wholecouponinserts.com , you only get that message if you type wholeinserts.com 🙂 I did the same thing…
MaryBeth,
I am sorry to hear that too. I do not often buy coupons as I usually get tons of inserts, but I have bought some in the past that were regional and we did not get and I used the coupon clipping crew after researching many, many sites and they were great! I am sad now. Happy for her, hope she has tons of success!
I use Mycouponhunter.com. I only need a few coupons now and then and she doesn’t require a minimum. I can order a coupon on monday and its sitting in my mailbox on Wed, perfect for grocery shopping that day. Plus she has quite a few target coupons and I use them a lot at my local Publix. She also offers discounts when it gets closer to the expiration date which is nice for that last minute sale.
I have also heard good things about Ebay, a friend uses some sellers on there at work and loves it.
I didn’t realize how many mininums were needed on the other sites think I will stick with her. Its just a 2 man…err person hehe show in my house, no kids thank goodness so I never need many of any coupon.
Same case as mine. Only me and hubby at home, so I use Mycouponhunter to order few coupons. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent service.: quick shipping and no minimum order. Love it!
Ohhh so excited another non parent out there I sometimes feel alone in this big couponing world hehe. Maybe its cause I work in an office and the ladies can’t believe a 32 year old doesn’t want kids hehe. I’m content with being the crazy aunt to my niece and spoiling her rotten.
I use MyCouponHunter.com, too – Virginia is da-bomb on getting out the coupons I need lightning quick and with no minimum, which I appreciate (just me and DH). 🙂
I have used the Coupon Clippers before and I loved their service. I recently stumbled upon another coupon service referred by another blog I read. Mad Couponers I live in Texas and I was buying 4 copies of the Sunday paper and paying $10 plus ordering extra with the coupon clippers. Now with Mad Couponers I get 10 copies of each insert for $10.50 I order it on Sunday and I get it On Wednesday . Best of all I pay using pay pal which I love 🙂
I have bought from Coupons & Things By Dede and they were SUPER fast. I got everything I ordered. I have also recently ordered from Collectable Coupons and Wholecouponinserts.com. They were also great to work with! 🙂
coupon dede is awesome. if you order coupons that are close to expiring, she will throw in extras for free!!
I had a problem with Coupons and Things by Dede. After placing several successful orders, one of my shipments did not arrive. Their tracking system showed it was received at an incorrect zip code. I sent several emails to Coupons and Things by Dede, as I never got the coupons. At first, they told me to wait and later said to check to see if they were mixed in with my mail and also ask my mailman and neighbors if they had seen them! (Condescending and ridiculous, in my opinion. Yes, I am going to walk up and down my street, knocking on doors and asking my neighbors if they’ve seen my coupons??)
I never received the coupons. Coupons and Things by Dede refused to refund my payment. They said their policy is not to make a refund if their tracking system shows the coupons are scanned at a zip code upon arrival. I replied that the coupons were scanned at an INCORRECT zip code and I never received them. They still refused to refund my money. I sent a final email (my fourth, I believe) saying I was disappointed they would treat a repeat customer this way. I haven’t used them since.
I have ordered from Kuntry Klippers and highly recommend them. They have some of the lowest prices. Most sets of 20 coupons are only $1 (.05 per coupon) with free shipping and handling for orders over $4
Just checked them out and I think I’ll definitely be ordering from them in the future! Great prices and free shipping-wow! Glad to hear about your experience with them.
I must be missing something… when I went to Kuntry Klippers, the coupons were EXPENSIVE!
For instance, Dan-o-nino yogurt $1/1 coupon was $1!!! And I even put 20 in my cart to see if it would lower, but my total was $20! I tried with a dozen different coupons:
Febreze $1/1 coupons was $1!
Betty Crocker Brownie Mix .75/2 coupon was $1!
Ban Deodorant .40/1 coupon was $1!
the $1 is for a set of 20 q’s….not for 1 q
When you click on a particular coupon (I clicked on activia), look underneath the block where you can add it to the cart. You should see a message saying “This is a set of 20 manufacturer’s coupons for $1 off any ONE Activia 4pk, 8pk, 12pk, or 24 oz. Coupon specifically states DO NOT DOUBLE.
Please make sure to enlarge picture of coupon and see exactly what you will be getting before you place your order.
Face Value: $20
Expire: 8/8/10”
It only shows 1 “item” for the $1 added to your cart BUT the “item” is actually 20 coupons.
HTH
okay… that makes MUCH more sense! THANKS!
I have ordered from My Coupon Hunter 2 times. She has wonderful selections and excellent customer service. Very quick shipping too. 🙂
OT…Like Chex Mix on Facebook to get a $1 off coupon for the new Chipolte Cheddar flavor.
Link here!
I’ve tried Coupon Clipper and they were ok.
My Walgreens usually has our Sunday papers for $.99 per paper. So, I just buy 4 papers and recycle the actual paper.
Rarely do I miss the good coupons, but have noticed a few I don’t have. I might use these site for deals I don’t get. Although, ordering on Sunday I don’t there would be any stock left on the deal item by Wednesday when I get the Q’s
Any idea how these places are able to get so many Q’s to sell? Surely just buying the paper wouldn’t be profitable.
Good Post
Just curious, but where do these services get all the coupons in the first place?
My guess is some have connections to get free papers.
Imagine if you worked at a recycling plant……
If you do the math though. Buying 20 papers in my area would be $20.
If you sold 5 copies of each set of Q’s for about 1.35 and free shipping. You could easily make an extra $10 – $50 each week.
It doesn’t seem worth it to me, but hey to each there own.
I’m seriously considering selling my coupons for products I know we don’t use on ebay. Might pay for the papers I buy at least.
After ebay fees etc I’d probably have to invest more time than I wanted to.
I did this when the Target Schick razor coupons came out, I didn’t need them so I listed them on ebay, a set of 5, and they sold for $8.50 so it was definitely worth my time. I will probably do that again when I have some high value coupons I don’t need, but I will not be doing it regularly as I can’t compete with the regular sellers who well 20 coupons for $1 or whatever. It’s easy to find which coupons are selling hot, just search to see how they’re selling. 🙂
I love My Coupon Hunter. She is WONDERFUL in every aspect. Fast Shipping, Excellent Service, fast response to your e-mails, etc… I love that there is not a min. on orders. This way I can only order what I want/need. She also usually has the inserts listed Friday night/Saturday morning.
Recently, she added a subscription service and I have taken advantage of this the last 2 months.
Highly recommend My Coupon Hunter!!
ALL I CAN SAY IS EBAY EBAY EBAY PEOPLE
I recently ordered coupons from My Coupon Hunter and was very happy with her service. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for ($10 off Sonic toothbrush). My order was incredibly inexpensive and i received it in about 3 days. Cost about 45 cents to mail to me which is the cost of the stamp. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her service to anyone.
I use coupons by DeDe for coupons not available in my area(we rarely get Wisk coupons in Vegas). The shipping is super quick! My first order was missing some coupons, but they quickly sent them to me without any question. I haven’t had a problem since.
I use a coupon clipping services (have used almost all the ones listed here) when either I didn’t get a high value coupon that the clipping service has ex: I had a $0.75 coupon & the coupon sites had $2 & $2.50 coupons for the same item OR when I want to stock up on a particular item.
Completely worth spending a few dollars when I’m going to save that much per coupon!!
I use coupon hunter and i have used ebay.. i will say ebay is quicker for some reason but I do like coupon hunter.. ordered my item on sunday and got my stuff on thursday so if I see a deal posted on here on tuesday i dont think id get it in time.. ebay is generally quicker but either or id recommend her shes really friendly!
Thank-you for this listing! The first time I “bought” coupons I thought I was crazy. Then I realized for example, you can never have enough chicken flovored Carolina rice for practically FREE!
http://www.gaynycdad.com
I was the same way thought people were crazy to buy from coupon clippers. Until a morningstar coupon came out that was not in my local paper. I’m a vegetarian and when Publix does their Bogos I have to stock up. I’m so glad my husband is a meat eater lol meat is so cheap compared to my stuff:(
His Hotdogs—practically free or really really cheap under a dollar most of the time
My Hotdogs—5 dollars per can (yeah I know weird) for worthington and that is Walmart cheapest price around:(
Morningstar has a $1 off coupon on their website, good on any product. You can print two per computer. I have lots of 75 cents off coupons if you’d like to trade. Email me: adelaide7495@gmail.com 🙂
My “virgin” coupon buying was Morningstar Farms, too! I bought 20 $1/1 and couldn’t believe that I had been paying $4 for a box of sausage every week ! Hope they put out some more soon.
Thanks for this great list! (Too bad they’re out of $2 crest mouthwash Qs)
I’ve bought coupons on ebay, and also from https://www.couponsthingsbydede.com. I was happy with both.
I buy whole inserts from clippin chucks and they are fantastic. I live in coastal alabama and don’t often get the high value good coupons. So she sends me previews early in the week so i can order. Quick and friendly service about. 40 cents per insert.
I tried to find clippin chucks and couldn’t. What is the website address please 🙂
I think tiffany meant to type clippin chicks not chucks. The website is clippinchicks.com
HTH 🙂
Sorry. Mistyped that website. It’s clippinchick.com (no s).
Ebay seems to me to be the simplest to order from (Use the “Buy it now” sellers) and the most cost effective. Look for sellers in or near your state for 2 day service.Using PayPal is a plus.

Off topic, but if you do Swagbucks: 7SB code on the toolbar until 5:45 pdt (8:45 edt). Good luck!
THX! i had to close my browser and refresh before it popped up. I thought the codes just came up. i bet i’ve missed a few while sitting here before.
If there is a great deal, or something that I regularly buy a lot of in a month I will order on e-bay, usually in sets of 20 coupons. But recently I’ve discovered that if there’s something I just want a few more of, I can make a trade for the cost of a stamp. It’s been a good strategy this week anyway.
Collin: Would it be possible to have all of these sites listed in the side margin, or maybe a link to a list of these sites? I know it’s possible to go back through the archive, but it would be faster to just have them in one place. Thanks!!!
Just save this post to your favorites
Mary Beth, read Collin’s last paragraph of her post. There’s a way you can save it to your “Hip List”.
Thank you! I don’t know how I missed that post back in June, but had no idea that such a useful feature was available. All set now!!!
🙂
At our local post office, they leave a few postal baskets out for people to throw junk mail and recycling paper in. Most everyone gets their grocery ads and pitches them there. They also pitch their Sunday papers there with the coupons as well. They said I could take any coupon inserts I wanted so I check them 1-2 times a week for peoples inserts. So then last week and this week the last 4 coupon inserts were put into our weekly grocery ad as well so I scored OVER 150 coupon inserts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! each week!!!!! I have been sharing some with friends and then using the duplicates for stocking up on freebies!!!!
I also recommend checking at the gas stations and local stores on Monday to see if they have any Sunday papers left. Usually they do and they always say I can have the inserts!!!!!!!
that is so awesome. i ask everyone around if i can have the inserts on monday or if i can even buy them for a discount and they say that they HAVE to turn the entire paper in to recycling. they cant just take pieces out. >< so WASTEFUL!!!
I am able to get the paper for free at the gas station on Mon morn if they have any left i can have up to 3 so it is worth checking into
I love clipping services and have used a few(coupon clipper, dede and coupon masters) I use them when there is a coupon that i may want a lower value of. I’m in the northeast and we get higher value coupons, example $1 off 2 boxes of pasta. But if i check the clipping services, another region may have $.55 off 1 box of pasta. My stores would double this coupon, leading to really cheap or free pasta with the right sale. I take a gamble buying some but the weeks were i can get 20 boxes of pasta for free pays for itself. Also, my local paper is $3 for a sunday one, without a red plum insert, so it’s cheaper to order coupons from a service vs buying multiples.
Thanks for reminding us in this post that we can save this to our Hip List. I like the new updates it works for me. I also have used ebay in the past to get coupons.
I use My coupon Hunter almost every week. Great service- highly recommend!
Wow collin that is such great info that you wrote about when it comes to getting coupons to sweeten the deal. Thanks for sharing. This will help me,my friends and family save lots of money.
Omg I am so crazy that would be funny clippin chuck! Yes i meant to say clippinchicks.com
so many people get the newspaper and do not even use the coupons . I suggest asking your friends and family, coworkers tell them you would love to have the coupon inserts. You’d be surprized ! I did this and am able to get extra inserts this way. If you know someone who gets the paper just ask.
I have used 4 different services and not had any major problems, except for couponsbydede. I actually preferred them @ first because of quick ship. However, this last time ordered from them 8 weeks ago it was just 3 lots of different coupons instead of whole inserts. I didn’t need them super quick and ordered them by usps snail mail. After waiting 3 weeks, I contacted the company and was told that by their tracking number and info, that it was sent the day after I ordered them. I told them I understand, but I never received them. They told me to check my neighbors as they may have received them by accident. I tasked them if they would be sending me new ones since I never received them and they wouldn’t respond to my emails. I will never give them my business again. Sad, since they would have only been out a couple bucks and would have made much more off me than that. I did pay thru paypal, however, it’s too much a hassle to go thru the process of getting 3-4 dollars back. Just learn from my lesson and beware.
I wonder where they get all these coupons. There are only so many gas stations, coffee houses and recycle bins you can dig through.
I also had a friend contact me yesterday, she said she noticed that I use coupons alot and that her husband always has a ton left from his paper route….and would I like them from now on…. I am thinking alot of these sellers must know someone or have a newspaper route and thats where they have the leftovers. P.S. I told her yes I would love the coupons……what I dont use I pass on.
I have used Dede’s , The Coupon Carryout and Rebecca’s Coupons and Forms without any issues.
i have bought from couponmaster and when they accidently sent me “schick Quattro razor” coupons instead of “schick Intuition”, i called and left them a message. i think it was a couple days later, i got the “schick intuition” coupons with more of them than i had originally ordered. I also recieved an email apologizing and thanking me for my business. i would order from them again.
Collin and everyone who has contributed to this post thank you, thank you, thank you. I’ve check out a few of the sites mentioned on this post and seriously i think I am done buying insirts. It’s great to know that I can order just what i need for a few cents rather than buying a bunch of insirts just for a few coupons. Again Gracias ladies.
I have used Collectable Coupons and have been impressed by the fast service. I received my coupons the next day. They also have whole inserts available.
I have also used ebay and received those fairly quickly as well. Not as fast as the clipping service though.
I have used coupons by dede twice now. https://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/?Click=44090
She has an offer page where she always has discounts for bigger purchases or sometimes she will run a 20% off special… She also has a rewards program. I love it because I can order my coupons Sun night and have them by wednesday! (Sooner if I want to pay more shipping)
Ok I get – in theory – that the price paid for the coupons is for ‘handling’ and ‘cutting’ the coupons, and they are not selling the coupons (supposedly) then why does it cost them more to ‘cut’ and ‘handle’ higher value coupons? If this were true – that they are not selling them – then all coupons sold by a particular person should be the same price….
I usually use Coupons by Dede and have had no problems. This past week I tried ManufacturersCoupons.net and now, 7 days later I am still waiting for the coupons. I get the coupons from Coupons by Dede within a couple of days. I have searched all over the site, but can’t find where they ship out of. Does anyone happen to know where ManufacturersCoupons.net ships out of and/or have you had any experience with them?
TIA!
ok, am i the only person who believes that this is WRONG! They can use whatever loophole they want but it is still wrong and illegal to sell coupons. i will never purchase coupons through any “clipping service”.
