ok- I ordered the sweater and free lip gloss about 1-2 weeks ago and I received them already. So I pulled out the catalog that came with it to see if there were any coupons, codes, etc. and CAN I JUST SAY SOMETHING—I felt disgusted!! I am not going to say it here, but I felt like I was looking at kiddie !?*@ All of the girls in that catalog looked like they were 15! I don’t buy much from Victoria’s Secret, maybe now I remember why!

I am with you I have not seen a catalog in the last year or so . I quit ordering just because of that same issue with the TV spots too. I have 3 girls and just have to make my stand some place . They even send me those free panty coupons and I wont use them. Free is great but I have found a cause they cant pay to do lol . I guess it bothers me so much as this is a womans /girls store that realy could care less about women it is just the $. Or they wouldnt do what they are doing . lol that and 3 girls grown but still..
HA – you know what I say Victoria’s “SECRET” is that only “Victoria” herself can wear the things they sell or rather young girls who shouldn’t wear them or anorexic sick looking models – that is the whole “secret” to Victoria’s!!! Do you know the entire PINK line they refuse to make a size XL in? I once inquired about this and literally it is because they target a younger age group with this line and they DO NOT want anyone that might be even remotely larger than “too thin” wearing their items! I buy their lotions and perfume but the other products I do not purchase for this reason. Bath and Body Works and Victoria Secret are the same company in case you didn’t know too – it’s really sad we have come to this point.

Okay, people, I can’t speak for the company specifically, but I used to work at Victoria’s Secret, and the sales associates there really do care about women. I was a bra specialist, and we did our best to find the right bra for women (and yes, teenage girls, too). It may seem stupid, but finding the right bra is really important for women–the right fit can prevent tears and pockets where breast cancer can seep in, as well as more general things, such as pain….Anyway, I’m not trying to pick a fight or anything. I can understand if you don’t want to look at the catalog, but please censor the insults toward a company that you’ve never been a part of.
Hmmmm…..feel like I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to get both codes to work. I’ve tried every way I can think of and can’t get both codes to work. Very disappointing b/c it seems a lot of others were able to score this deal : (

I could not use both codes either so I called the number and “he” told me that I could only use one sweater code per transaction or per sweater. so he said I couldn’t get the deal as good as first thought. Too bad b/c it sounded good. Thanks for helping us try anyway! 🙂

Called VS Customer Service and tried to do the deal over the phone with them and they said there was a glitch in their software. They have fixed the problem and are no longer allowing you to use both codes. Bummmer…
I guess I waited too long and was unable to get the free pink tote with any pink purchase as well… They said that they were all out of that promotion.

Definitely disappointed both codes didnt work, but I’m still very happy to get the sweater for $12, the free lip gloss and a mystery card.
I ended up getting a more expensive cable knit sweater that was on sale for $30 and ordered a PINK branded bra that was on clearance. I was able to score not only the free lipgloss, but a free PINK branded HUGE tote bag AND FREE SHIPPING since I got the bra!! Best of all, I needed to get it ASAP, and with the free ship code, I only had to pay and extra $7 for 2 day delivery!!! It was great. I love VS. I love their lingerie and clothes. And their perfume as well!!
I got my secret reward card too… I’m wondering if there’s any way to figure out ahead of time what it’s worth. The “pin” number on the card is 0100 so I’ve got my fingers crossed….. hoping… that it means I have $100 on there!!! Can’t wait for the 1st to check it out!!!!

Which bra did you get? I’ve been trying to get the code to work but it won’t allow it on any of the clearance bras I’ve picked out. Also, was there a separate code for the free shipping with a Pink purchase?
