I went to my local Rite aid here and the gillette Clinicals were 9.99. (Athens, GA). so that deal was not worth it for me since the total with coupons without the up rewards was $16.50.
For the free total tooothpaste my coupon from jan all you didnt apply because it had a higher size rquirment of 5.0 oz. and the ones on sale are the 4.0 oz.
Some of the posts above refer to the $1 UP reward for the Chex Mix and hormel chili as being a monthly reward. Does this mean that they will only print in January and not on February 1? I won’t be able to make it down to Rite Aid today.
Rite Aid’s “monthly” deals aren’t strictly by month, since ad cycles and months don’t always sync up… they should be good for the whole week.
actually, since the Chex mix & Hormel are part of the monthly UP deal, they will work at least until the end of Feb.
Had a crazy trip to RiteAid today. I bought 10 lays stacks, & 2 Edys to get the $5 up reward. The cashier missed one of the lays, I thought that she had, and asked her about it before I paid but she assured me that she got everything. Well after I paid and everything printed it showed that she did miss it. I had used almost $10 worth of ups in this transaction and she said she didn’t know how to redo it without me loosing the ups. She ended up returning the entire order. ( but didn’t give me any cash back) and then reringing it and applying the ups that had printed from the first transaction which ended up costing me more than it should have. I had already waited about 20 mins for this to all happen so I just went ahead and left, happy to get what I got. What should have happened? How do they fix that? TIA for any help!!!
IDK what to tell you, I’ve never had to return/rebuy anything. But if you were unsure before paying, you could have asked her to suspend the transaction to print the journal tape just to double ck.
Jenny – been there. When that sort of thing happens the cashier &/or mgr. has a difficult time making it right because they don’t have the power to undo and redo the printing of UP rewards. The best thing you can do when you see one didn’t print, but obviously should have, is to call Corp. yourself–unless, of course, you have an extremely friendly mgr. who will just give you the cash–(mine will).
Every time I’ve had an UPs issue that couldn’t be sorted out at the register, Corp. has made it right and mailed the credit to me in the form of a voucher.
I have had this happen before. I paid almost my entire total with UP’s and coupons. My UP I was suppose to get didn’t print and I realized the cashier didn’t scan 2 coupons. The assistant manager returned everything. She tried ringing back up and rescanning my coupons, half of which wouldn’t scan and couldn’t even be pushed through. After about 20 minutes she handed me $17 cash from the return and from some of the coupons. I was so confused. The UP was suppose to be for $10 and the coupons missed only equaled $2. How I ended up with that I have no idea but she felt like it was right so I stopped arguing and left. I try to have all my coupons organized when I get up there so that I can watch the scanner the entire time they are scanning. I also won’t let them scan until I give them my card so I can see the correct prices on my screen. I’ve never called corp. but it may be easier than having to do that disaster again lol
I had major issues with Rite Aid while I was growing up. I resisted stepping foot in their stores for about 15 years. Thanks to Hip2Save I have decided the deals are to great to pass up. Late one night I logged on and joined their wellness program. The next day I gathered my coupons and headed to the store for the Stayfree promotion that was going on last month. My cashier was a little old lady and she kindly asked me for my phone number. She typed it in but neglected to press some other key she needed to. She rang up my four packages of Stayfree and I handed her my B1G1F and $1 off Q’s. She gave me my total and I paid and left. Thankfully, I looked at my receipt when I got outside and noticed the UpRewards weren’t printed. I went back inside and she called the manager over. I then had to stand there for 15+ minute while the manager tried to figure out that my member number never did get entered, I paid the full price not the 2/$5 they were advertised, and I didn’t receive my Ups. She voided, returned, recharged about a zillion times it seemed before she got fed up and grabbed a piece of paper and pen and figured out the difference and handed it back to me in cash. Never will I make that mistake again.
On a brighter note though I went this morning finally for this weeks deals. Granted they were out of the Jif and Dixie plates but thanks to the FVV, Q’s and Ups I got back I purchased $40+ in product and paid less that $2 for all of it. 🙂

You should be able to. I’ve gotten rainchecks there before with no problem.
my store had ooodles of them so I got six… my mom asked “arent you embarrassed that they are going to think you are hemorrhaging??!” No one really does the rite aid deals in my town.
They should give it no problem. Usually good for one month. Our stores cashiers really vary on the limit they will allow. Some will tell me and argue the limit is 2 for rain checks and others let me say how many I want.
Anyone else having trouble finding the right Neuragen in the store? I actually have the coupon (I feel like I never get the good regional coupons!), but the only Neuragen products I can find are a 0.17oz topical solution and then a bigger topical solution…the one in the ad is the 0.28 oz gel. I’ve tried four Rite Aid stores in my area with no luck (it’s not even that they’re out–then I could get a rain check–there’s not even a place for it on the shelf…). Anyone have any thoughts?? I found the Neuragen gel near the pain relief stuff. Look near the tylenol heat pads. It is very small and easy to miss, but it’s in that section. Hope this helps! 🙂
I was SOO excited to see the Edy’s ice cream deal! Then I go to Rite Aid and they have no ice cream 🙁 I decided to take a chance and head to a 2nd Rite Aid and scored 6 Edy’s Ice Creams. The manager rang up my purchase and told me I really got a great deal. I am one very happy pregnant girl!! Now let’s see how long these 6 tubs last (lol)
Went to my local Rite Aid this afternoon. My fave manager was on duty and my unfave cashier as well. I knew she was going to give me an earful but I just smiled as she rang up my purchase. I purchased the Edy ice cream, Neuragen liquid not gel and the hair color that was 75% off. When she rang the Neuragen she commented it wasn’t the one for the rebate and I said, My Grandfather doesn’t like the gel so I got the liquid instead….and gave her a “smile” then she questioned the $3 off MQ for the hair color…she then called manager over even before ringing up the MQ and questioned that the hair color was $2.99 and I was using the $3 MQ. The Manager said well, if it (MQ) doesn’t beep then it’s ok to use. I knew it would not beep because I purchased the hair color a few days ago with the exact MQ and had no problems. The cashier didn’t even apologize or say anything because she knew that this customer was “right.” I thanked her and walked out with a big smile on my face 🙂
I have a cashier like that at my store too! When I walk in and see her I almost want to leave lol. She never tries to help a coupon go through even if it clearly reads for the correct product. I always get her eye rollings and her snide comments about coupons.

IDK if anyone is still checking this, ( today is 2/2) but I went to the Rite Aid today in Albany, OR and practically all the deals were wiped out. PLUS there was only one other customer in the store and she was a shelf-clearer ! She had two carts and they were completely filled up with Jif Peanut butter, smuckers, lays stax, stayfree, colgate, Dreyers, etc. I am honestly not trying to complain I was just hoping to get my husband 4 things of chips for his lunches and some peanut butter to make cookies and had to come home empty handed. I am just so bummed. Does anyone else have this problem?
That’s so frustrating! Often, if I wait until Wednesday or even Tuesday, many of the better deals are cleared. I would have been tempted to ask the lady if I could pick from her cart since she OBVIOUSLY cleared the shelves! 🙁
