I got really happy then found out that I cant print the coupon apparently because I’m on Windows 7. 🙁
Edit: The Lysol coupon to be specific.

    • debra

Yes you can. I had the same problem. All you need to do is use Firefox. Right click the icon and select properties. Then select “Compatibility”. Change your settings to run in compatibility mode for Windows 98. Then restart Firefox and you should be able to print. Once you are done go back and change it back as I wouldn’t run it in this mode all the time. HTH

      • Pamela

Which icon are you supposed to right-click?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think she is talking about the screen that comes up telling you they cant print because we have window 7.
I tried right clicking the icon and it took me to the properties, but no options for compatibility. Any other ideas?

          • debra

The icon is on your desktop. Just right click the Mozilla Icon and you will see Properties listed at the bottom. Click on that and another window will come up with 6 other options. Choose Compatibility. This will open and you will see where it says “Run this program in compatbility mode for” Click on the down arrow and you will see options for other operating systems. Choose Windows 98 and click ok at the bottom. Now reopen Firefox and it will be running in compatibility mode. Print the coupons you want then close FF. Go back and “Uncheck” the box for “Run this progra in compatibility mode” and you will be back running in Windows 7. Sure hope all this makes sense.

      • Doreen

Thank you Thank you Debra . I better going nuts been trying almost everything to get it to print.

        • debra

You are very welcome. I just posted clearer instructions so I hope it makes sense to all.

    • Christy P

When I right Click on the widows button I get properties but no choice of Compatablity I also do not use firefox I use IE with Windows 7. If anybody knows how I can print this but changing things somewhere else I would appreciate it. Thank You.

      • debra

Christy I also use IE most of the time but installed FF just for this reason. I have also discovered FF seems to be faster than IE. It’s simple to download and free so I would recommend installing it if you want to be able to print these and others such as the Airwick coupons. I have never discovered a way to print from IE with Windows7.

  2. Leslie

Does anybody know if you have to buy special refill soap for the Lysol or if you can use something else?

    Thanks!

    • Janet

Lysol refill only. They about 3.99 each.

    • Drew

I saw on another website you can use a butter knife to open the top of the soap container to refill it with another kind, but I haven’t tried it yet.

      • Dmkapotsy

Yep, you can do that. My husband did it for me a week ago. Works just fine with all free dish soap I have been getting! 🙂 Going to pick up another Dawn Hand Renewal at CVS for free this week! You do have to be careful popping it off and I won’t get a lot of times doing it that way before I have to get another one. I may need to look into getting one of those small funnels! Mentioned. 🙂

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I refill mine all the time. You just pop the top off with a butter knife.

    • Alicia

I have refilled mine many times using the smallest metal funnel in my funnel set. It is slow going. I just fill up the funnel each time I pass the room throughout the day, and voila! by the end of the day it is filled for the next couple of weeks. My kids love using the “no hands” pump. It is the only way I can guarantee that the boys use soap.

      • The Paid Housewife

this is a great idea! Thanks for sharing. I have ALWAYS passed on purchasing these items in fear that I would overspend on refills. I plan on getting this!!

        • Craig

          Yay! good info to know!

    • KELLY

I just pop the lids off and use whatever liqued soap I am stocked up on. It works just fine! 🙂

      • Craig

And thanks to Hip2Save we know we have alot of free or cheap soap to use!! 😉

        • Blair

I don’t even have to pop the lid off. My DH drilled a hole in the top of the soap container and I just fill ir up through there. How awesome is that?

          • Laura

We have 3 soap dispensers – one in each bathroom. And my husband also drilled a hole in the top so we can refill with other liquid soap – works great and the kids can even refill them without removing cartridge.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My mother in law says they can be refilled with a small syringe.

      • Leslie

thank you all! I really wanted to try this but I hated the idea of buying their refills. Looks like I will be trying this. Thank you!!

  3. kristin

the lysol soap is 14.99, not 11.99. I even had them price check it. Am I doing something wrong?
The Russell Stover is on sale for 2.14 or so though. Thanks for the info!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

still super cheap so what is the problem? LOL

    • Craig

My guess is you were trying to buy it today in January. It says the RR is a monthly deal for FEB. This could be why.

    • john

did the same at my Walgreens in Northern Va today and same prices you received. The tag on the shelf stated that the RR dates were today through the end of February, so it is not a sate issue on the price.

    • debbie

The candy was not on sale at my store 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

No, I discovered the same thing. They have jacked the price up since the beginning of January. I was able to get one of these the last time it was a RR special, and I paid only $11.99 then. Just went in tonight to get another and the price is up to $14.99.

  4. Brandi

You can get the piece off the refill and refill it with whatever soap you use. It’s very easy with a nice or small tool.

    • Brandi

      Oops, knife.

  5. Erin

I found the chocolates at my store for $2.24 in Indy- Yay!!!

    • Karen

Me too, they weren’t tagged but I had them do a price check. Will make a great Valentines gift. it was funny cuz the Valentines box of Russel Stovers was 3.99. I was able to get 2 for 1.24.

  6. Jillian

    Quick question,

Can I purchase more than one at a time? or do I have to make two separate transactions. Or is it one per household? I’m super new at this sorry!

    • debra

You would have to make separate purchases to get the RR. And do not use the RR from the first transaction for the 2nd one or you will not get another RR. HTH

      • Jillian

Got it thank you so much!

  7. cammy

Yea!! The candy was $2.24 at my store in Houston. Thanks!!!!

  8. Mitchell Wischmann

The Lysol Healthy Touch rings up at $14.99, but I found a display at my store. It said the sale price is $11.99, and the effective dates are 1/30/11-2/28/11.

    • Donna

Darn it! I bought two today and paid $14.99 each time! I wonder if the $11.99 is in print anywhere so I can take them back and get that price?

      • Mitchell Wischmann

I haven’t seen it in writing anywhere except the cardboard display in my store.

        • Craig

Oh cool so you can get this today then?! You also got the RR then hunh? Awesome.

          • Donna

I did get the RR but I didn’t get the $11.99 price….I paid $14.99 but did get back an $8.00 RR.

            • Deb

              Then I’d return ’em.
Not all that great a deal unless you’re just crazy to buy them.

          • Mitchell Wischmann

Yep, I got a few today and the RR printed fine! It’s just the sale price that isn’t working yet.

            • Craig

Went tonight too and had to pay $14.99 but did get the RR!! Looked and asked about the price being $11.99 but no luck. Still a good deal. Now look forward to hacking it after its empty. Some great ideas here!

  9. Chi C.

Thank you for the heads up on the unadvertised boxes of the chocolates. I was hanging on to 4 coupons from December, so I was able to get 4 Russell Stovers Private Reserve Chocolate boxes and 2 Butterfinger Snackerz for only $5.13, with a savings of $32.81!

  10. Mitzi

The Russell Stover candy was on sale at our Walgreens too 🙂 The sales clerk was great! When I asked if she would price check it for me, she grinned real big & said “you’ll like the price it rings up because I just bought one of these myself”. $2.24. She suggested I go back and buy another because there were only a few left.

  11. Rachel

I was able to get the Russel Stover candy for 2.24 in Asheville, NC.

    • debra

Thanks for the heads up Rachel. I’m also in Asheville. Which Walgreens?

  12. Dolly

Does Dmkapotsy’s comment mean that Dawn Hand renewal dishwashing liquid can be used as liquid soap for washing hands?

    • Blair

Sure can. I use it all the time in my Lysol dispenser.

  13. Mitch

At this price I use the soap inside for my refills, this is a great price!
I hope I can print more coupons from my new computer!
    thanks

  14. thecents2save

Here to confirm that these are ringing up $2.24 in Colorado also. One more thing, if you don’t find these in the candy isle, check the Valentine’s Day candy isle, one of my stores stuck them there on the bottom shelf, I almost missed them.

  15. rick

RS were 2.24 at my walgreens in Lawrenceburg, TN

  16. Amber

14.99 at my store in DM Iowa! 🙁

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

charlotte, Nc Lysol is priced at 14.99- 5 RR…

  18. G

Warrensburg, MO Lysol priced at $14.99 and NO RR :o(

    • Lisa

Hi! I used to live in Concordia, MO 🙂

  19. Tyanne

The Russell Stover candy is also unadvertised but marked down at the Center St, Hickory, NC location. Thanks to Hip2Save I bought $205 worth of stuff today for $61 and have a $20 rebate yet to come. Happy shopping everyone.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s a no-go in Springfield, MO. The RC chocolates are ringing up at regular price.

    • Steph

Ended up going to a different Walgreens in Springfield, Mo tonight and they rang up $2.24 there! What is their reasoning? Oh well, worked out anyway!

  21. momwalker1966

Hi, I’m new. I think this is my first post, didn’t know I could post actually. Bad computer skills, sorry. Anyway-I love the hands free soap dispensers. I have converted several of mine to hand sanitizer dispensers. They work great for classrooms, break rooms, nursery areas, anywhere water is not that available. Maybe some of you would like to try that, Have a great day and hope I can find my way back here. I love this site,

    • Betty

What a great tip! Thank you momwalker1966!!

  22. KathyT527

I think we were all out of the Russell Stover premium chocolates. Our next closest WAG is 20 minutes away and I don’t know if I’m willing to driver the distance on this one 🙁

  23. Lynne Wright

At Target the Refills are usually $3.44.

  24. Stephanie

Neither of my local Wags carries the dispenser. 🙁 I always get excited when these deals come around, but I never have any luck.

  25. Melanie

Found the candy with the valentine’s for $2.24. It’s a miracle that (1) I actually found the deal in my PA store and it was in stock and (2) I found 2 coupons to use!!!! I also looked for the Vick’s sinex since my coupons expired today. They were out of stock so I tried the dayquil and the coupons went through just fine and I got my $10 RR.

  26. Nancy

Im sorry but i dont really understand the RR program. So when I go and buy this i will get 7 dollars deducted from the purchase?

    • Anne

You will get a $7 coupon to use for another purchase.

  27. Joanne

Found the Russell Stover at my Walgreens in Connecticut. Thanks so much for the tip! LOVE Russell Stover!

  28. Amber

I just went tonight and the cashier said the 11.99 is only certain locations and not guaranteed everywhere and refused to give it to me. I didn’t purchase it so I’m not sure if the RR would have printed out or not. I’m going to try another store. Does it say anywhere on Walgreen’s website or anywhere online that this is a deal right now? I have nothing to show them when I go in to prove it.

    • carmen

It was in our weekly ad that starts today!!!

  29. nataliay2288

I have a question is this deal for only certain states I live in Texas and just tried doing the Lysol deal but no RRs printed out??? And I have a second question is there anybody around the Dallas Fort Worth area that could help me out on some other questions????

  30. Amber

Hopefully this will help those of you that have been coming across the price at $14.99. Next week the deal is in the ad for $11.99 with a $7 Register Reward. So hold on to those coupons and go next week. I looked at the ad on iheartwags.

    • Jen G.

Ok, I just bought mine yesterday. I will hold onto it until next week and see if it goes on sale. What happens to my RR if I return it? I’m not very familiar with RRs. Thanks!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Technically you can keep the RR on a return, but whether your conscience allows it is up to you. I would at least offer it back to them.

  31. nataliay2288

thank you thank you thank you Amber the store gave me a 7 rr for it but the Manager was sooo rude I almost started crying. When i told her alot of people were posting this and was not sure if it was only certain areas she put her hand in my face and said you know what I’m not doing this, just here!!! and she kept on saying I had enough of these RRs … Me and my husband were so embarrsed!

    • Amber

Why do some managers have to be so mean spirited? All we want to do is save $$. I hope you have another store in your area you can go to. I have one two minutes from my house and choose to drive down the road to another one because the manager doesn’t understand couponing. When my RR didn’t print out for the Got2B she said, “Isn’t that a good enough deal already?” They just don’t understand that when we put so much hard work into it, it’s a downfall for it not to work properly and then to be treated like crap about it. Hopefully it works out next week for you.

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

FYI…I think Wags updated the price on the Russell Stovers. Hubby picked up a box yesterday at the $2.24. I went to the same location today to get another box and they rang up at $8.99.

  33. vicky

I went to wags last night. Lysol @ $14.99 and RR @ $7.00

  34. Sondra

Walgreens must have updated the price on the Russell Stovers. I had purchased a box early this week for only $2.24. I went to the same store yesterday to get another box and it rang up at $8.99. Oh well, at least I got one earlier. The Private Reserve chocolates were better tasting than other Russell Stover chocolates I’d previously purchased.

  35. KM

Chocolates are ringing up full price in St. Aug FL 🙁
