FREE IAMS Dog Food & Cat Food Mail-In Rebate(s)

If you have a dog or cat (or even better, if you have both a dog AND cat), then here’s an awesome rebate offer for you! Through June 30th, 2011, purchase any 2lbs or larger IAMS dry dog food and/or any 1.8lbs or larger IAMS dry cat food and get a voucher for a FREE bag of dog/cat food via mail-in rebate. Here’s what you need to do…
* By June 30th, 2011, purchase one bag of IAMS dry dog food (2 lbs or larger) or purchase one bag of IAMS dry cat food (1.8 lbs or larger)…and yes, you can submit one of each rebate form (I called customer service to verify this)!
* Complete the rebate form found here: Iams Dog Tailored Nutrition Rebate or Iams Cat Speed Rebate
* Mail the completed rebate form, the original UPC from the package, the original sales receipt dated between 2/1/11 and 6/30/11 with the store name and product purchase circled and mail to address listed on the rebate form (keep in mind that the cat and dog rebates each go to a different address). Your request must be postmarked by August 30, 2011.
* In about 6-8 weeks, you will then receive a voucher for a FREE bag of IAMS Dog Food (up to 8 lbs.) and/or a FREE bag of IAMS Cat Food (up to 4 lbs.).
** Limit one submission (of each rebate) per name, address or envelope. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. For the status of your rebate, call 1-866-572-0025. Each rebate is limited to the first 15,000 submissions.
Don’t have a cat or dog?! Consider purchasing a bag of cat and dog food and donating it to the local shelter!

Can you make it a moneymaker using the $1 coupon in the P&G Everyday savings book or P&G insert?
So this is good for any size bag over 2lbs for dogs? I’d love to get a 44lb bag to donate if so. They are usually about $40.
Read the fine print at the bottom, the cat one says up to 4 #, also it says first 15,000 submissions. Not sure what the dog one says but it is probably similar.

This rebate is not quite what it seems to be. If you buy a bag of Iams, they will send you a coupon for another bag (up to 8 lbs) free. Check the small print above the address to send this rebate to. Still a good deal if you use that brand.

Iams is a horrible dog food to use. I highly recommend AGAINST it. You should read up on their policy of animal testing before buying this dog or cat food. Funny how they say they strive to be the best for your animal but torture others while doing it. Horrible company!
I agree Stephanie AND all of the horrible recalls they have had that have actually KILLED pets! I USED to feed my dog Iams, but no longer. Free isn’t even worth it to me.
Anyone know how much the 2 lb bag is at Target?
Do you receive an equivalent voucher of 5lb. if you only buy a 5lb bag? I’m just a little confused if I would get a voucher for up to 8 lb if I buy any amount over 2lb. or only the amount I purchased. TIA
Our K-Mart is currently running a special where, if you buy $35 or more of P & G items, you get a $10 coupon from them. The larger bags of Iams dog food are usually over $35 and are a P & G product. From what I can tell, the $10 coupon is more of a voucher to use on your next trip at K-Mart. I haven’t tried this deal yet, I probably will tonight though. Just thought it might help others out.
And Kmart is doubling coupons on a $25 or more purchase if you have a Shop your Way card – use the $1 coupon in the P&G insert – get $2 off plus the $10 “rebate” – or whatever it is….
I like IAMS, have fed it to my cats for years and they love it! I saw some comments about it being bad for pets…but I haven’t had any issues.

I remember the recall on some of the caned foods. We only feed our dog the dry stuff and he loves it. He has been really healthy for years.Meat is the first ingredients listed, which is a dog food should be.
My dog ate Iams dry for all of her 14 years and was always healthy.

I just read the report and it is a bunch of hype. PETA has no proof, it is all assumption. It did show that a company that IAMS once hired was proven to be cruel to animals, but IAMS stopped supporting them. Just because IAMS has a lab with animals in it and won’t let PETA in, does not give PETA or anyone else the right to make such claims. PETA thinks they own the world.
