You can buy the free after reward products online and ship to your home free if you spend $50. This week, that is easily done!
If anyone gets the mechanical pencils, make sure it deducts the correct amount…. I got the pencils and used the coupon, but it didn’t take off enough money, so they ended up being $3 instead of $1. Weird because on the receipt it even said $1 pencil coupon. So, check your receipts before you leave the store!
Also, on the items that are free after rewards, it says one per customer in the ad, but online it says two per customer. Any idea what to do about the discrepancy?
I’m loving Staples these last two weeks. Last week they mailed me a $5/75, so I scored $80 worth of products for like $3. Thanks for another good deal Collin.
I’ve never participated in Staples Rewards. If I join and buy the items that are listed as 100% rewards, will I receive a check for the total amount I spent? Or do I need to spend a total of $100 in the store before I get back money for those items listed as 100% rewards? I don’t see how that is different than their rebates. (Unless it is their way of getting new people to sign up for Staples Rewards. Can someone help me out on this issue?
I was already to purchase all of these “Free” after Rebate items and then also noticed that the actual Staples Ad says Limit 1 item per person, yet online it says Limit of 2 per purchase.
I’m going to try to contact their customer service yet they arent likely there on Sunday and would enjoy if anyone gets ahold of them to share an explanation as to if we can indeed Buy 2 of Each of that was just a ploy to get people to buy more than they’ll get for Free. And yes, you can get Free shipping for any $50 online purchase.
I called customer service before I placed my order, because I was wondering about the limit of 2 per person, and I was told that it was a limit of 1 of each of the rewards items per person.They said if I ordered 2 of each of the rewards items I would only receive rewards for the one. I also noticed that there were only 6 items listed in the ad but online there were 7 items.I ordered all 7, will see how it turns out.

Can anybody help me on this rewards stuff? I ordered the Duracell batteries back in November when they were the 100% rewards. I just checked my account and it shows that I boughtthe batteries, but my total rewards balance for that quarter say’s 0.00. Aren’t I supposed to get the whole amount back at the end of the quarter? I’m certainly NOT ordering anything else until they give me my money back!
I emailed customer service a while back about the batteries not showing up on my rewards online. They told me that the special purchase items (basically anything that is free after rewards) will not show up on your online account. She was able to go through my purchases and tell me I should be getting my rewards anyway. FYI…. when I emailed customer service they took about a week to get back to me, and in the past when I have gotten rewards from Staples they are slow to get them out, but they did eventually show up correctly. I save all my receipts and try not to open packages if I can avoid it until I actually get my rewards.
I too bought the batteries, and my rewards balance is 0.00. I think we will eventually receive it. On the FAQ page it says that rewards are mailed within 30 days after the end of the calendar quarter.

I bought a backpack at Staples in August which was part of a 100% back in Staples rewards deal. My rewards balance never showed the $40 backpack purchase, but I did receive the certificate about 5 weeks after the quarter end. I got 4 of the Duracell batteries, so hopefully that certificate should be coming in the next few weeks.
