i did the same, got out of cvs with a big smile bought 2 schick xtreme 3 disposables and one cream shave and 1 shave gel and 4 clairol natural instincts priced at 6.99, one bengay at 5.99, and two creast pro health toothpaste , and one bag of funsize snickers priced at 2.50, and 3 soft soap (2 dollar each), subtotal was before coupons with tax was 75.32, after coupons with tax subtotal was 5.13 . got back 19 extra bucks and 10 dollar gas gift card, yaaaaaaaaaaa.

reply to shannon, i used 4 free coupons of clairol (was posted on facebook page months ago) that would be -27.96, and i used the buy 1 get 1free for the schick disposables and 3 off the extreme3 and a 2 off cvs.com store coupon for the disposables , used 1.50 off cream shave and 0.75 off shave gel, 5 off bengay, i had 0.75 and a 1 off for creast, and 3 of 1 dollar off soft soap, and i had 14.50 extra bucks in my hand from last trip to cvs. just amazed how much you can save at cvs, better than walmart.
How did you get 4 of the clairol coupons?
I was just at my CVS (right when it opened) and the 2 people that were waiting there before me cleared the whole shelves of women’s skintimate cream and gel, i was so angry! We only have one local CVS and they are sure to not have the products in stock again this week 🙁

Go back for a rain check if you did not get one. They do not expire…and you will have more time to find more coupons. It will be YOUR turn to clear the shelves. (j/k). The rain checks are good for the ECBs, too….I have started always asking for them when I see something I use that is on sale…

GOD people who do that piss me off!!! The only time I clear the shelves is when there’s only 1 or 2 left of something that I really need & know I’m gonna use. Even last week I was working an Olay deal @ CVS & there was only 1 of a certain cleanser left. I never tried it before so I just left it there & bought something else. Ya never know if that 1 thing that’s left is someone else’s favorite, ya know? It’s just soooo obnoxious!
I don’t get mad a shelf clearers unless there are a ton of the items on the shelf. If there are only 4 skintimates and you are trying to do the schick deal then the selves will be clear after two people shop. You should be mad at the store for not stocking the shelf with the items that are on sale. Don’t be mad at the people who got to the store earlier than you.
I was at CVS last night to do the deal early, thinking I was going to have everything available. There was only 1 Schick Xtreme3 and 3 of the cream shave so I hope they get some stock this week. Sometimes it seems as if the shelves have been cleared, but my store didn’t have stock.
It’s so interesting to me how people have a problem with shelf clearers because I almost never run into that problem! I guess people in the Los Angeles area aren’t big couponers….or there are enough CVS/other drugstores in the area to satisfy everyone 🙂
My store was out of cream shaves, but they let me use the cream shave coupons on shave gel. Super nice! I didn’t have the razor q’s, so I did a scenario with all shave gels:
(10) shave gels, $2.19: $21.90
used: (8) $1.50/1 cream shave; (2) $1/1 cream shave
total: $7.90
used: $6 ECB
total (before tax): $1.90, got back $10 ECB
And, just to add, no shelf clearing here. There were plenty of shave gels at my store!
Wow. I checked the cream shave yesterday, and it was more than $4! Maybe I’ll have to check again.
My CVS had the cream shave priced at $4.29 this morning, I scanned it to be sure.

Mine was the same price too! I was disappointed!
Sometimes the employees dont “set the ad” correctly. meaning someone may have missed the tag on the shelf. ALWAYS check at the register if you are unsure. (especially if its in the printed ad!) there have been several times the item on sale in the ad was not marked properly on the shelf- it never hurts to ask!
when they say spend so much and get so much in ecb- do u have to do all this in one transaction or can u get the other stuff with in the week the deal is offered to get the ecb? please someone answr? I fig u can do several tranaction because everyting is on your card of what u have purchased- thanx for the help 🙂
I think, as long as it is in the same week promo period you can let them add up. I made a mistake in calculations because of a BOGO offer and did not get my 10 dollar ECB. I went back in to ask about it and the young man showed me that I did not spend enough. We found MY mistake and he said I could just get when I came back later in the week (he knows me too well…I always go back).

Just got back from CVS this was my deal:

1 3 off from facebook page
also picked up the kotex on sale for 3.49 had 1 off coupon.
Used 4.69 ECB paid only 1.07 +tax and got back 12 ECB!
Some people may need to only buy 1 shave cream if it is 2.49 in your region. I missed the total by 4 cents so had to buy another one. Still a great deal though.
We did the same deal as you but they said you cannot combine the BOGO with another money off mfr. coupon. Has this happened to anyone else at CVS? They seemed to make it sound like they are joining other stores and making BOGO coupons not very useful 🙁
The CVS in my area (IL) won’t combine them either. Most stores here do not accept a 2nd coupon when paired with a BOGO coupon.
I had the same problem this morning when trying to use more than one coupon on an item. The cashier was a real you know what about it and acted like I was inconveniencing not only her but others, mind you there were no other customers in the store but my boyfriend and I! Since I am new at all this, her attitude set my morning off oh so well. Like it would have hurt her to use a little customer service and explain things nicely like the awesome people at Walgreens. But in the end I was happy to see the Cream Shave was only $2.19 and my boyfriend came along with his CVS card and scored quite a bit of Edge and Skintimate shaving gel/cream for next to nothing so we can donate (also make gift baskets to be auctioned off to raise money for Christmas Gifts) to different organizations around town!
I was not able to use the bogo, $2 cvs and the $3 facebook coupon on the schick extreme either. The register wouldn’t take it. This cashier I had was one of “those hard-nose” cashiers and was questioning it right off the bat so I knew I was going to have some issues so I didn’t do that deal today. I will go to another “Good” CVS and rethink my strategy this coming week. Got the Bengay and the softsoap deal.

I do not think the 1.50 is available now..but there are some 1.00 on coupon.com, I think…might have the wrong site but search for them, they are out there.

I had the same thing happen – it only printed once. Maybe they just set it up differently this time?
I went to CVS last night (mine changes over promos early) and did not see that the cream shave was on sale but I did stock up on Edge for the hubbie and rounded out the deal with 2 razors. The kind I piced was a BOGO 1/2 off promo so that messed up my calculations a bit. The young man working was a lot of fun, however…he kept helping me get my total up on a few things.
I was able to get a 50 plus dollar amount (do not remember the exact but it was not over 60) down to negative 6 (with ECB). That was a first for me (only been couponing about a month). PLUS I got a register printout for 35% off of my next trip and another 10 dollar off a 50 dollar purchase. Next week I am hoping to really score…just hope they have some slammin’ deals going on. 🙂

make sure to check the exp. date on your 35%off next purchase- they tend to only be good for a couple days on the ones I have received.
EEEK….thanks so much!!!! I ran to my binder to find the coupon and it expires TODAY!!!! So I guess I will be making a trip. (so that’s how they get you back spending money so fast…hahahahah jokes on them, huh?)

Uhg, I just checked again and this coupon has the exclusion of sale and promo items. Maybe I will find something to use it on… I have my mind set to only buy things on sale or with a promo attatched. Maybe I will get a magazine….I would say I would buy wine but that is never included. LOL.
If you have any magic coupon machine coupons for $5/$20 facial care items, they are also working with the razor/shaving cream purchases.
Oh wow!!!! Shaving is a “face care” for men. Did not even consider that.
I worked this deal today too (even though I need more razors/shave cream like I need a hole in my head!!) I got 1 pack of men’s razors, 1 pack of women’s & 1 shave creme. I only did it so I could roll the $10 ECB into another transaction (1 Softsoap body wash & 2 hand soaps, 2 Herbal Essences hair gels & 2 Oral-B flosses) I came out of CVS today only paying 83 cents OOP!! I did use $15 in ECB but I earned it all back…gosh I love CVS!!! 🙂

So sad… love the cream shave and in the past it wasn’t part of the deal. Scanned last night and it didn’t ring up right, so passed it up. Only to find out it is part of the deal and my store’s computers weren’t working right last night. grr… may have to buy it even though I’ve already done the Spend $20 get $10 ECB…
My CVS did not have the higher priced Cream Shave as part of the deal, so if your store does indeed have it labeled, get it while the gettin’s good.
did you even price ck the item? b/c my store did not have the Cream Shave marked, just the other Skintimate Shave Cream. Price ck confirmed that they are indeed $2.19.
And each store cannot decide what’s on sale or not, deals are set in the system weeks out. The only thing the manager does is turn the sales on.
Went in to CVS this morning and had called yesterday to get 2 Schick refills and 2 Schick Razors and 4 of the Skintimate Creams. Was there first thing this morning and got to the counter and my Skintimate internet coupons would not work. They do not key in the internet coupons like Wags so he told me I could not use them and I was going to do another transaction to get another $10 ECB but the manager told me it was limit 1 per card. Oh well, after 2 skintimate creams, 2 Schicks, along with 3 Kleenex and 2 Herbal Essances, it was 17.99 after tax and got my 10 ECB. I was pleased. Then went to WAGS and got the Skintimate shave cream there for .49! 🙂
Just an FYI, I tried to use the Schick Titanium razor for this deal (because I had a $4 off coupon) and it turns out this Schick razor is not included in the deal and will not count toward getting the $10 ECB. Still a good price for a razor, but I was a little bummed the ECB would not print.
The razor may not be on sale but the Schick Titanium disposable 3 pack of razors is. I bought (2) Schick Titanium 3 pack disposables & (1) Skintimate Shave gel.

I already have several shaving lotions/cremes in my stockpile and me and my girls aren’t big users of it since Intuition is our razor of choice. So I bought the Intution refill 6pack for 21.49, used the 4.50 manuf coupon, used the $5 ECB that printed up this morning at the magic machine for meeting the $50 Beauty Deal and used the $10 ECB I got for buying $20 of John Frieda last week. Paid 2.45 OOP and got a $10 ECB.
I went into CVS to get a few sale/coupon deals and found Goodnites diapers in the clearance section for 75% off. I had a coupon and scored the package for $3.49!!
Just went back for a repeat. The xreme razors rang up bogo50% off so my bogo Q’s didn’t go thru right. Today it was fine! 4packs his n hers extreme razors,2shave creams,2notebooks and nivea lip balm filler items. Spent $1.38 and got $10ecb! So glad i tried again today! Fyi CVS wont allow a q on a free item and only took one $2 CVS q.

I did this deal tonight and totally forgot to use my store coupon for $2 off the razors. I know my CVS will accept them tomorrow but why can’t you use 2 if you bought 2? You should be able to use one on each or is it bc the one razor is free if you used the bogo?
yes thats why, bc your getting a item free, i tried to used the buy 1 get 1 free with 2 of cvs store coupons, it didn’t work it only took one 2 dollar off cvs coupon with the buy one get one free and the 3 dollar off.
How were you able to use all 3 with 2 razors? I thought if you bought 2 it would allow you to use one bogo and one store. Thanks for the help! 🙂
you can combine a store coupon with a manufactors coupon on one item, but bc you are using a buy one get one free coupon you are not allowed to use another coupon on the item that the coupon is making you get it free, so you are allowed to use a buy one get one free coupon and another manufactors coupon and a stores coupon if you got one on the item you are not getting free, hoped i helped you.
I bought two razors and used 1 bogo Q and 2 cvs $2 Q’s not a problem no beeping or anything. Did I do something wrong?
I used my BOGO coupon to purchase the 12 pack of Schick sensitive disposable razors for men and both packages came with a $5 coupon towards free music downloads with Rhapsody. So my transaction looked like this:

Our CVS rarely has items in stock, but they are very nice. I told them my coupons were expiring and she said that she would staple them to the raincheck and they would accept them as long as I did not wait a month to purchase the products. She stapled my four coupons to the rainchecks and the ad. So my fingers are crossed!
I got 4 packs of Schick shavers for Women yesterday (rang up @ Buy One Get One 50%), Printer Paper on sale for $4, and Bengay cream for $5.79 – used $3/$15, BOGO Free coupon, (2) $1 Schick Manufacturer coupons, and (3) $2 CVS Schick IPs and only paid $1.90 (tax) but got back a $10 ECB and $2 ECB 🙂

Did anyone else have their bogo coupon turn into a13.99 off coupon? I did the same transaction as above with two skintimate, 2 packs of disposable razors 8.49 ea, the register did the b1g1@50%, i used the bogo, 1off and 2 1.50 off and my subtotal was negative. the ECBs didn’t print so the manager manually printed them for me…..at the bottom of my receipt it says Im 4.49 toward the reward. Should I go back and try to do it again to see if I get more if they will give the reward again or should the manual print have blocked that option?
