Can you use the coupons online or just in the stores?
You can use them online as well.
Does anyone know if the free spice coupons work in their online store? If so, anyone could use them even if we don’t have the store locally.
🙂
they apply to on line as well
yes they do work online…i order out of every catalog online and get the free spice. this catalog features a large jar of “forward” spice and an awesome 5pc. teacher’s gift box with great stuff!!! best spices ever
Hands down the best spices anywhere! Their italian dressing mix makes incredible marinade. If you like Penzeys – check out the Spice House (same family). Their Vulcan Fire Salt is to die for – great on popcorn.
I agree… Best Spices EVER! I will pay more for their spices.
They always accept these too… No matter how old or how many youh
Have!! Love them!!!!
I agree they have GREAT spices! I love their italian seasoning! This current catalog had TWO coupons. One for free spices and one for a free teachers gift (which included 2 free spices and a couple little gifts) with ANY purchase. Awesome!
I love these spices.. I use the free coupons to try new spices.. Plus they have some good recipes to boot..
best spices around… well worth a little extra….. and i get 2 catalogs ..one in my name and one in my boyfriends name.. so double free spices when they do them…
These are the BEST spices – love them and the coupons are GREAT!
I am lucky to have a Penzey Spice store nearby. Only spices I use and I love the coupons!
I have to agree, I love their spices and the freebies they send in their catalogs. I’m spoiled since I have a store 2 blocks away from my house. The ladies who work in my local store are great and never make me feel bad about coming in just to get the free stuff. Last summer when they did some local advertising in my newspaper for free items, I was always able to combine coupons and walk out with lots of great stuff. If the coupon states “free with purchase”, the Sunny Spain and Sunny Paris blends are both excellent!
I love Penzy’s. If you go into the store, they have free recipes that you can take and are really delicious. I also like how they have what you can use the spices for on the jar
Just requested a catalog. Can’t wait! The spice bottles kinda look like the ones Rachel Ray has on her cooking show. hmmmmm
Their Sandwich Sprinkle is a staple in our house. We love Penzey’s and their catalogs!
Their spices are the best. And their coupons never expire! So if you have some that are expired, don’t throw them away!
My 2 & 3yr old use to love to go into the ‘spice store’ when we lived near one. It was their favorite place. If you live near one take your toddler or small kids and let them go and smell all the different spices. It was a lot of fun for them and it is something new. They have THE BEST spices and they are worth every penny! I know I’m saving money by cooking for my family so to spend money on spices that taste incredible is totally worth it. And if you buy their bulk spices they are really not that expensive. Their garlic powder is so good. I always get complimented on it in my food.
My Husband loves this stuff. He mail orders all the time because the closest one is about an hour away.
Great spices! When I don’t want to chop shallots or garlic, I reach for these. The nearest store to me is in Westport, CT (about 30 mins) or a train ride into NYC at Grand Central. However, over the 4th of July, I visited the shop in downtown Pittsburgh and was a kid in a “spice” store. 😉 I ended up getting Mexican vanilla (smells so good), pumpkin spice, dried shallots, garlic, and celery (for when you don’t have fresh celery on hand for chicken salad).
this is the only place we get our arrowroot powder/starch for cooking 🙂 love it!
Love, Love, Love these spices! A friend sends me a gift box from back home in Milwaukee, WI. There’s a blend that goes on salad and my hubby, who will not use salad dressing, just loves this!
Delicious! I just ordered last month and got a free large jar of the Northwoods seasoning. Hands down my most favorite thing to cook with EVER.
The stores are wonderful. They always let you use the free coupons, even if they’ve expired. And the spices are great. We got rid of everything else. Our extended families have all changed over as well.
I get this in mail all the time but never use the coupons 🙁 for some reason they always expire before I remember to use them.
The stores do take expired coupons. I haver tried that online tho.
I love going in the store but don’t live close and mail order is pretty quick, but a big plus for me is that it seems every time they send me my order, they include an extra sample for free! The samples are kind of random but hey, they are all great! Make sure you get their vietnamese cinnamon for the holidays, seriously the best!
I have been using these for years and my favorites are basil, granulated garlic, italian & cinnamon. I often attach a few to a wedding gift. I love the teacher giftpack idea. I just met someone who works there and the have cooks whommake the employees lunch everyday! She does work at the main location i believe. I can sometimes smell the spices in the air since i live about 2 miles from it. I think they should start a home based business like pampered chef…
I work for Penzeys, so I’m glad to read all the positive comments.
My aunt started getting your spices back when you hand wrote the labels on the bottles. I got a bunch of spices from her for a graduation present from college. They are so wonderful, and not that much more expensive than you would buy in the grocery store, and MUCH better quality.
the catalogs come with spice tips, recipes & stories too.
my new favorite is California Seasoned Pepper added to cream cheese.
Another Penzey’s addict here. I LOVE the recipes in the catalog and in store–have found some real winners that way.
Also they have had nice little gift boxes with four small spices around the holidays for the past few years. Great for teacher gifts or stocking stuffers. Penzeys is one of my go-to gifts for housewarmings (better than wine for cooks), weddings, graduation, etc.
