National Costume Swap Day (10/8)
Are you or your kiddos in need of a Halloween costume, but you’re just not willing to pay full price?! Then check out National Costume Swap Day available in select cities across the country tomorrow, October 8th.
Wanna show off your Halloween costume at your local zoo/aquarium while enjoying treats, crafts and more?! Then check out the Green Halloween events available near you. Select zoo and aquarium events across the U.S. will be getting an EEK-o-friendly makeover…conventional candy will be swapped for healthier, more sustainable feed, spooktacular recycled animal crafts will abound, and do-it-yourself costumes will cause an up-ROAR. Sounds like fun to me! 🙂
(Thanks, Combat Clippers!)
Those are 2 wonderful events! I would love to do a costume swap next year for my kids. This year I got a $5 Alice in wonderland dress for my daughter and a $1 pirate costume for my son so I’m set 🙂
I’m also excited that our local aquarium is hosting a Halloween event the weekend before Halloween, my hubby will be on duty on Halloween day and I’ve been looking for a fun event so that my hubby gets to see the kids all dressed up in their costumes 🙂
Yay I am so excited for the costume swap. Money is tight and I was wondering how I would afford my sons fireman costume, hopefully he will find something he likes here!
The costume swap is such a great idea! I wish there was one close to me. My kids’ school tried to do this last year, but it fell through.
