Walgreens Deals 11/27-12/3
If you are a newbie to Walgreens shopping, make sure to check out my Walgreens Store guide. …And if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.
Also, as most of you may know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

HAPPY SHOPPING! 😀
Thanks! =)
You are welcome! 🙂
Collin,
I don’t say it enough……thank you, thank you, thank you. This is by FAR the best site to save!
I love how you balance everything. You give more than you save and that’s how we all should be.
Your site doesn’t just help me save. It helps me think of others, keep my family as my top priority and share! Love you so much!!!
Amen to that, Allie!!!!
Oh my word… you are too kind! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment and for brightening my day. I am so very lucky to have readers like you! 🙂
I say Amen! to what Allie said too. We love and appreciate you soooooooo much!!
Couldn’t have said it better! Ditto, Ditto, DITTO! 🙂
Thanks so much Collin. Can’t wait to shop at Wags this week and use up some of my RR from the black Friday sale!
At my local Wags, most of the Revlon single eye shadows are on clearance for $2.59, which would make them free using the coupons you have listed. I’m going to go check my binder when I get home!
Allie is right Collin! I am so amazed at how much you help everyone save. I too take care of my family first (7 kids!), then start taking care of extended family and friends with extras. I love your site!! Whenever I am shopping and someone stops me to ask me about couponing, I always give them your blog info! Thanks for helping me take care of my family on a budget! 🙂
I do the same! I’ve had two women behind me see what I save, and ask how I did it. I wrote down this site for both women. I hope it helped them like it does me!
Thanks to both of you… I sure appreciate the shout out! 🙂
I stopped in to Wags about 1 hour from home on Thanksgiving because we had forgot to bring food containers for leftovers with us. I grabbed the last 2 Rubbermaid food storage containers they had-the deep dish ones. I braced myself for the price- $3.49 each!-no coupons! When the cashier said I owed $1.60 I about fell over-and then a $1 RR came out for my having bought them! So .30 each!
Now that’s a great deal and a great surprise!!
Thank you!
would you be able to roll the mission products because they are 2 different products or not because there the same brand?-Applina
Great question
They were rolling yesterday when I did the deal!
the cashier had me ring them up separate said it wouldn’t work.
Did anyone find the Haribo q’s? Maybe specific zip code?
I can’t find the Haribo coupon, is it under a certain zip code?
I tried 90210, 53027, and 48183 but couldn’t find it.
Darn! 🙁 Looks like the coupon may no longer be available? If anyone spots it, please let us know the zip code. Thanks!
Hi, I printed it about a week and a half ago using, 84043. Hope it’s still there! 🙂
nope gone from there too.
Just printed with zip 48044
12345 – just printed it.
There will be a Venus Save $5/1 ProSkin, Embrace, Breeze or Bikini razor or refill excludes disposables in the 11/27 paper – that would make it $1.99 after register reward!
This Q is for the razor and refills. 🙁
Yup found that out when I got my paper this morning. The website I use that gives you a preview of the coupons coming out on Sunday stated it was for razor OR refills…was looking forward to such a high value coupon 🙁
I have a question, and if anyone knows, I would greatly appreciate the help!! When you have a B1G1 50% off sale and use a BOGO coupon, what is the final price? Basically, does Walgreens deduct the cost of the full price item or the 50% off item for the free one?
Although the lesser priced item price should be deducted, it actually depends on the clerk. Some look at the first item and deduct that amount and others correctly look at the 50% off item and deduct that amount.
Actually at Walgreens the clerk should take of the full price item, leaving you paying 50% of one item. I have personally called Walgreens corporate number and confirmed this with them. Otherwise there would be no advantage to using a BOGO during a B1G1 50% off sale versus any other time. I know this seems the opposite of the standard BOGO rules. When I approached the register while doing one of these deals, I nicely told the clerk that I had called corporate and that was what they told me and didn’t have a problem. The number is 1-800-WALGREENS if you want to verify that for yourself
I’ve been saving by using your sight for over a year now and I wanted to say THANK YOU! and tell you how much I appreciate all your hard work. There are lots of coupon bloggers out there, but I like yours the best of any I have found!!!! =)
Awe, thanks, Peggy! 🙂
Collin-
I am new to couponing. Been doing it only a month or so, but thanks to you and your site, I now have a pretty nice stock pile so far. Haven’t been very successful at the groceries yet, but have definitely learned my way around Walgreens and scored some great deals. I have no idea how you do all that you do, but THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the effort it takes you to help others save money. You are the BEST!!
You are most welcome, Melissa! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment. I truly appreciate it! 🙂
Groceries are the hardest I don’t get how those extreme couponers get there groceries so cheap. I do have one store in this area that does double up to $.99
but still don’t get the deals they do on tv. However, just saving on everything else I was able to give my sister and her husband a huge box of goodies for an early Christmas present she so appreciated it.
The extreme couponers are not really getting groceries so cheaply. Really they are only buying multiples of a few items that have great coupons on them. 80 mustards and 50 toothbrushes is not going to feed my family. That show also creates unrealistic expectations, Getting 80 coupons usually costs money as most people buy the coupons so they are not free. Saying all that though, if you build up a stock of coupons, wait for those items to go on sale, and buy a reasonable number of those items to stockpile you can save a lot of money on groceries too.
re: Getting 80 coupons usually costs money as most people buy the coupons so they are not free
Agreed. I wish they would tell the real costs involved in buying all the newspapers and coupons. Add that to the hours involved. The real costs are not all that pretty!
My family is sick of eating Body Wash and Air Freshener! LOL!
I just looked at that Scotch Magic Tape coupon, and mine expires 11/18/11. Hopefully someone else’s doesn’t? 🙂
Oh, weird…I just saw there’s two coupons for $1/3 scotch, and one expires 12/31, and the other 11/18. Never mind! lol Sorry!
Thanks Collin for your hard work! I direct people to hip2save all the time when I get asked about how I get all my great deals.
Thanks, Lisa! 🙂
Collin-Just wanted to say how thankful I am for you and your “elves” that work tirelessly to keep us all “In the black”-Friday or not!! Things are a little tight around here but with all I am saving, Christmas should still be merry and bright. THANK YOU!!
You are most welcome! 🙂
Do you think that a RR would print for the $9.99 Gillette fusion razor gift set?
Hello, I was wondering the same thing? I went to WG yesterday and used the $5 Proglide cpn on the gift set and it worked. I didn’t get a RR, but $4.99 for all four of those items sounds like a great deal to me!
Thanks Collin!!! I will try again this week, we had our list the other day and went to Walgreen’s a few hours after the paper came out and they were out of 90 percent of the stuff on our list…we were so disappointed. I know there are still people who are rude and clear shelves but walgreen’s usually only allows one offer on most things so honestly I am not sure they had the stuff to begin with this week…a few hours and they weren’t that busy Thanksgiving to have been wiped out. Hopefully this week we will have better luck.
I went to Walgreens late today, Saturday, and found just about everything. Probably the usual shoppers were burned out by today.
Thanksgiving was a busy day.
Yes i agree with everyone i love your site!!!i always check here before shopping!!everyone seems so helpful!! I am very new to couponing …still i am trying to figure this out:)!! i have a couple of gillette coupons i have been saving up…does anyone have any gillette scenariors???
5- $2 off gillette body wash exp9/30/12
2-$2 off any 2 gillette deodorants9/30/12
1-buy one deodorant get one body wash free 9/30/12
i would greatly appreaciate the help:)!!!!
Hello Angelica,
You can try using those cpns on the $9.99 Proglide/Gillete set at WG’s. They are $9.99 and I used my $5 Proglide cpn & only paid $4.99 for it. Great deal to me =D
I went to a local Walgreens tonight at 8 pm to see if they had any other Black Friday items left because I had a few Preperation H coupons left along with a few more Dentek ones. Low and behold, they had an abundance of all of the free after RR items. One of the ladies was from my regular store and we chatted for a minute because it was slow. I expressed how I was amazed at their remaining stock. She said they planned accordingly. I said well heck, I’ll just grab a little bit more of each item. I got a few of everything they had to offer except for the higher amount medical things I had no use for. Between CVS and Walgreens Black Friday sales, we have a good amount of stuff for the kids teachers Christmas presents, families stocking stuffers, gifts for my crew at the firehouse and some of the things we don’t use like the Preperation H is going to the pile of stuff we take to the local food bank (they take all sorts of food and toiletries.) I’m not really sure what I was trying to say here…hmmm? I guess it’s late and I’m delerious so I shall run. But before I go to bed I’ll count my RR and ECB’s so I can go to bed with a smaile on my face. It surely isn’t going to happen from the depressing Rite Aid Black Friday ad…booo! CIAO!
I went to walgreens sat at 9:30 pm and even though there were plenty of black friday stuff left the manager said the sale had ended and they were ringing up regular price I didn’t know they could end the sale before 12
the store can turn the new ad on early if they want, I have never heard of one turning off the old early. I went at 11:15 pm last night and did a mad dash of transactions as it was the only chance I got. I got a bunch of stuff still on the BF sale. Next time ask him to price check items in front of you so you can see for sure…. then I would take the issue up with corporate.
I did price check and all the items were regular price so bummed but I will call corporate and see what they say
I love this site and share it with others often! This way of shopping has really changed our family for the better. My husband now asks me to “go couponing,” and I have taught our 14 year old daughter to buy wisely also. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing these strategies and tips with us.
can’t seem to work this thru in my head, so maybe one of you can help to see if this would be a good deal… there are 2 RR specials running:
Spend $20 on Participating Gillette, Secret or Old Spice Deodorant, Spray or Cartridges = $5 RR
and
Gillette Venus Embrace or Fusion ProGlide Razor $10.99 = $4 RR
Final cost $6.99!
would it be worth it to use the “buy one gillette fusion proglide cartridge and get 5.00 fusion proglide razor”
I think this senario could be used…please comment or correct:
buy 1 gillette proglide cartridge, 4 pk. online price of 16.99
buy 1 gillette deoderant (online price of 4.99)
buy 1 gillette profusion razon, sale price 10.99
use 1 1.00/1 gillette coupon
use 1 5.00 off gillette fusion proglide with purchase of cartridges coupon
pay 26.97
get back 4.00RR
get back 5.00RR
final cost 17.97 for all.
(using the other 2 senarios with buying the deoderant, you would spend 19.24 for the razor and the deoderant deal)
does it work?
Just got back and my foot cream rang up for $1.00. I did have him correct it to the $5.99 because I was a little thrown off and wanted to make sure I got it for free. It could be very possible that this was on sale last week and is still ringing up the sales price and spitting out the $6 RR. So this is a possible $5 MM if your store hasn’t caught the error. My cashier actually will probably catch it because I got a couple of them this morning and had him fix the price.
On top of the $2 off GUM flosspicks sale Walgreens is having, my local Walgreens is doing a “Buy one at $.99, get one for a penny” sale! Score! 🙂
Double and triple check that the Soft Lips you get is the PEARL one. The RR will NOT print out on the vanilla or strawberry.
Luckily I grabbed the pearl was in a bit of a rush and didn’t look at the ad till I got home lol
unexpected surprise today. I bought 2 Olay body washes in the purple bottle Luscious embrace. They were BOBO 50% first one 4.99 second one 2.49= 7.48 and I used (2) 2.00 off body washes from the venus gift pack from walmart= 3.48. Anyhow, the cat printed out a coupon for a free Olay body lotion up to 5.49!!!!
I bought the same body washes and received a coupon for the 2 pack Olay soap.
I saw this in the store coupon policy:
The number of manufacturer coupons, including RR manufacturer coupons, must not exceed the number of items in the transaction.
Does that mean that if you only buy 1 item, you can’t use a manufacturer coupon and a RR coupon to pay for it, because you’d have 2 coupons for just 1 item?
yes thats what it means. So, you have to find a filler item. Like a pencil or a single carmel candy.
Fabulous info Lauren, never thought of using a pencil or single candy….Genius:)
Yes, Wags is tricky on this.
Manufacturer Q’s and Register Rewards count; Booklet and in-ad Q’s do not.
Long story short, if you buy three things and have four MQ’s, you’ll get the “Beep”. This is why many Wags have ten-cent Laffy-Taffy’s and the caramels right there. Just make sure you have an equal number of items to MQ’s and RR’s and you’ll be OK. Happy Shopping!
I was also told that if you use a coupon for two products (for instance..3.00 of of 2), that that coupon counts like 2 coupons! it was a manager that told me and we were questioning becuase the machine had beeped that my coupon number was over my item number. anyone else have this happen?
Collin – Could you weigh in on your experience using a BOGO on a Buy one get one 50% off? I haven’ t used my BOGO Old Spice coupons yet (exp. 11/30) and thought about using them this week on the body wash. If they will take the full price off, can I also use the $1/2 Old Spice coupons too? That would make it super cheap. Thx!
yes. thats the way my store does it. u need something cheap to use both. look for pencils or laffy taffy or something low priced.
Hi Ladies!
Can anyone tell me if I can use a $1 off gillette deodorant coupon on one of the gillette men’s gift sets Wag’s has? I love to buy these gift sets for my hard to shop for Uncles!
You can give it a try? I used the $5 Gillette Proglide cpn on their Proglide set yesterday and it worked! I have hard to shop for men in our family too 🙂
Can I use more than one RR in the same transaction? Also am I blind cause I can’t find the log in button anywhere on the screen? lol
Hi Tiffany,
You can use more than one RR in a transaction, but it can’t be for the same brand of products that you earned them for. Look at the bottom of the Q. It will say “Compliments of Purina” or whatever. You can’t use those on a Purina product. Also, keep in mind that you must not have more coupons than items. Hope this helps!
I was wondering if anyone knew on the spend $30 get a refund of $10 on Olay products if the amount they look at is the full price at the top of the receipt or if they consider the 50% off Olay shown near the bottom when it is buy one get one 50% off like this week.
My daughter loves the Welch’s in this deal scenario:
Welch’s Sparkling grape juice 25.4 oz 2/$6
Use the $2/2 Facebook coupon found here (must “like”)
Plus, use the $1/2 Walgreens coupon found in the December coupon booklet
Final cost $1.50 each!
** There is also a $1/2 coupon found in the 11/13 SS or here!
But at my local Walgreen’s the signs posted by the bottles lists the sale price as 2/$7, not 2/$6.
Im new to all this RR stuff just did my 1st transaction on 11/26 and I received $11 in RR I was told by manager that you could combine all RR to take off total purchase so if Im purchasing $12 bukks worth of stuff minus my $11 Id pay $1 plus tax we left 2 minutes prior to closing time and I felt confident that Id be getting some good deals ,I went back 11/27 yes the next day to a different walgreens to put all my coupons and RR to good use and as i took my binder out i was told by the cashier that their policy had changed and that it was only 1 RR and 1 transaction per customer as of 11/26 but was told different the night before does anyone know if this is correct as when i went in they didnt even have sales as posted in ad like on receiving RRs im so confused as i have went in at this location before trying to use coupons on b1g1 free items and was told i couldnt use coupons on the free item , and also I had a coupon on an item that was .50 but my coupon was for $1 off i bought 4 of the items used 2 coupons so they could be free instead of using 4 coupons and creating an overage the cashier told me that i could not use the 2 coupons to make them free? is all this true cause from what i have been told its not true please help me im thinking they are just not coupon friendly at this location??? but since im new to all this very confused thanks to all who answer 🙂
You can use as many RRs as you want as long as you have a product to go with it. RRs are just manufacture coupons that don’t have a specific things that you have to use them for. But if you are using other manufacture coupons for the same products then you just need some cheep filler items like a candy or pencil, just so that coupon can attatch to something. This store is totally wrong about there policy I would recomend printing out the walgreens policy and even taking it back and showing them it. Also walgreens does except you to use a coupon on the free item since technocly you are still purchusing both of the items. With the using one coupon to get the 2 items free some walgreens I think will do that cause it is just the coupons overage appling to whatever else you are buying. If you have more problems I would call corprate and ask them your questions. Hope this helps you some 🙂
Walgrens 11/27 – 12/2, 2011 Luster Deals
Deal 1:
Buy 1 Luster 1 Hour Teeth Whitening Box (.34 fl oz/10 ml) $29.99
– Use the Walgreens “Make This Season Stunning” Coupon Booklet Luster 1 hour $5/1 (54485 ) coupon
– Use the $5/1 from SS 10/16/11
Pay $21.99
NOTE: Walgrens “Make This Season Stunning” $5/1 Coupon did not scan, manager had to reduce the original price from $29.99 to $24.99 then use the Manufacture coupon for $5/1 to get to the $21.99 price.
I’ve heard of this product years ago and wanted a chance to try it. With a reduction of $10 off this was the time. With being a coffee drinker, my teeth were not the pearly shining white they used to be. I used my kit last night and it does exactly what it says.
General Directions: Kit includes a comparison strip to determine your current teeth coloring. Align strip to teeth and determine number. Swish the mouth wash for 10 seconds then discard. Dip gel for each tooth desired to whitening and apply. Turn on light (batteries included) close to teeth for 2 minutes (light preset to turn off after 2 minutes – no timer needed). Repeat as necessary until desired teeth whiteness.
I started with a scale of #18 (close to the end of the strip) and did the process 3 times (total time – approx. 10 minutes) and results ended to the scale of #5. Awesomeness!
Going to see if my sister will spare her $5/1 from SS 10/16/11 to me so that I can purchase another kit for my husband (another avid coffee drinker)
Deal #2:
Buy 1 Luster white7 sensitive toothpaste or luster white 7 power white toothpaste sale $4.99
– Use the Walgreens “Make This Season Stunning” Coupon Booklet Luster Now! Luster white7 sensitive toothpaste or luster white 7 power white toothpaste $2/1 (54492)
– Use the $1.50/1 Coupon from SS 10/16/11
Pay $1.49
Im looking at the ad and the GUM $2/1 is not a coupon. Will this still work?
For those interested in the Quaker deal, the 42oz canisters of instant oats are included. $1.50/each is a decent price for this in my book (I miss all of the Quaker q’s! Hoping they come back in January…).
I went to Walgreen in AR yesterday, and tried to get 5 same RR items, but the staff told me that only ONE same RR item per customer per day! But I saw they let other customers get 20 to 30 of SAME RR items and did separate transactions. What should I do with it?
Make friends with the Walgreens staff.
Thanks! 🙂 I’ll try that. Is there any policy for RR deals you know?
I purchased 3 cans of folgers and 6 KitKat bars that were on sale for .59 each with store coupon. I needed filler items to use my black friday register rewards. After completing the sale the catalina machine spit out a coupon saying I had won a $25 walgreens gift card courtesy of Hersheys! i needed to visit a webpage and put in the coupon code and it said my gift card would be mailed to me. If it’s is legit, which I assume it is since it came off the Catalina – I will have a $14 profit since I paid $11.01 – pretty cool sonce my out of pocket was a penny after the rw and mfg coupons 🙂
Lynn that is legit, I got several like that last year, Makes for a great day doesn’t it
its legit hershery bars kit kat resses are sugg sell this month and there is a contest were u can win gift cards or even 15 grnd in cash worth buyiing for filler i work at wags so i know it legit
