Military: FREE Scion Care Packages
I posted about this offer back in April of this year but thought that it was worth mentioning again. If you are Active Duty Military or in the Reserves, head on over here to check out this awesome offer from Scion. For a limited time, Scion is offering up all stateside U.S. military and all military stationed overseas a FREE Scion Military Care Package.

This care package includes some leisure items like beanies, a deck of cards and a complimentary hour of internet access – exclusively for U.S. Military personnel only; however, there may be some variation in the mix of items that they place in each of the care packages. To order a package, head over here to register; keep in mind that there is a limit of one care package per person every 12 months.
Check out this email (and the top picture above) that I received previously from a Hip2Save reader…
I have a husband who is deployed and this is his 5th deployment which makes it difficult at times. I know he loves getting goodies and surprises; well since he was home on r&r, he showed me his care package he got from Toyota so I thought I share with you…
This is what was enclosed with it all:
Ear Plugs
Deck of cards
Baseball hat
Knit Hat
Cool camo pen that folds and can hang on a keychain!!
Thumb drive that looks like a credit card
a Key chain
chapstick
Free Internet access card (for food courts on post)
Picture perfect holder
and a nice cute bag!!!!

I tried putting in our pay grade and its telling me its not valid. Any suggestions?
Like ours is E6
Make sure you put the E or O (whatever it is), in the first box. Then in the second box the number- it does not go to the next box automatically.
i ordered one of these a few months ago and everything in the package is great qaulity! it’s full of awesome things and my airman loved it! 🙂
Just ordered one my my husband…US Army here!!
How do ou put in the pay grade?
Put in E-8 or O-3, whatever yours is. What rank are you looking for and I can help you.
What a nice thing for Scion to do!
i’ve gotten these for my husband for the last 2 years, i LOVE the t-shirts! they are soft and comfortable, i sleep in them all the time!
While this is a great offer from Scion to say thanks to our military, I never received the one from last time. I did contact them and they said they would try to resolve the issue but that’s the last I heard and it wasn’t resolved.
Just an FYI, for those ordering for deployed soldiers. My nephew said alot of stuff is getting stopped at the border and not getting through. So you may want to verify they are getting packages before you send them one of these. It’s a great package though.
I’m having the same issue – Solider is a PV2, or E-2 but when I put it in, it won’t take 🙁
My husband got this back when you posted this the first time while he was deployed. He loved it and ended up telling a lot of the guys he works with about it and they all got one too.
Just ordered one for me and my husband! So excited, this is awesome! Thanks for posting!!
I put O-2 and it still says invalid, any ideas?
Thanks for the info! Just ordered one for my husband as well!
It is for soldiers, and more importantly, why are all the upper enlisted the ones who insist on taking the free things, when they make the most money? They are the first ones to greedily try to take more than they are offered, to include opening care packages, taking the good stuff and dropping off the rest of the items to soldiers or the chaplin. I have witnessed this one too many times. People send stuff hoping to make a difference, only for the good will to be intercepted by greed.
Deployed, first off these are leisure items not necessities – second, all the men and women who are off serving our country deserve their day to be brightened by a fun surprise no matter what the rank – their significant others just want to send them a little surprise, no one is taking food out of anyones – mouths and as far as I am concerned we are all a military family – let’s all be kind to one another – as for the people taking things out of the care packages – that is def not a nice thing – but you cannot assume that this is the behavior of every person who is upper enlisted or Officer.
Blessings, Lisa
Thank you!
My son is a pv2, e-2, there is no way to order his…he continues to get error code when putting in pay grade
