for walkins, you just go to the store that shows it has walkins and stand at the inside entrance for a few seconds it will pop up and tell you you got your kicks. Then if the store has items you want to scan you select it and point your phone camera at the items barcode and it will pop up telling you you got points.

Unfortunately I can never get the walkins to work. It flashes green but never gives me any kicks. Same with nearby stores; its always telling me to connect to wifi or step outside

I never get the “walk ins” to work. do i have the app open and then click on the store before i enter or what? is just having the app up good enough? does this app run inthe backround or do i need to have it on and kill my battery? 🙂
The walk-ins never work at the stores around me.
Same here. Last time I got a walk-in to work was in November when I was visiting another state! I’ve tried quite a few times here since then but it never works, no matter what store. I have 4G LTE and my signal is great so I don’t think it’s my phone or my cell signal that is the issue–I think it’s the store’s problem. Their transponders just don’t work.

For all that are having problems getting your walkins, I have a tip that may work for you since it works for me. If I open shopkick from the icon it doesn’t give me walkins but if you open shopkick from the android market, or from your iphone apps, it always works. I usually open it after I enter the store and stand at the door. If I still get nothing then I ask them where their shopkick signal is, most are clueless, but some know. It’s usually at the front door but best buy has it in their gaming department and some other departments as well, so worth it to check.

I think that if you don’t get a text message from them you can go to the shopkick app and see if it will let you log in. if you post your email use at and dot I can still send you the gifts. You will have to click the links in your email and enter your phone number to claim it.
