I am thinking of getting a Kindle or a nook. Anyone know the benefits over one or the other besides it looks like the Kindle offers alot of these free books…. Does the Nook? Do I just keep saving for a Ipad? We read a few books. Kids play lots of games. Check emails, watch movies and that would be about it. Thanks in advance for any input. THANKS
I have a Kindle Fire and I love it. It’s especially great if you are a paid member of Amazon Prime, because you get to check out free books and watch free movies/tv shows with your membership. Amazon has a free app every day and lots of great deals on books and music/movie downloads. Also, Kindle runs droid apps from the Amaon Marketplace, so if you have a droid phone, you can share your amazon apps with your Kindle Fire.
I have a co-worker with a color Nook that is rooted, so I think she actually has a Kindle app on there. I don’t know a whole lot about Nooks though.
Kindles and Nooks both are smaller than an iPad. I like that I can throw my Kindle in my purse and pull it out for the kids to play with in the car or when we’re waiting for our food at a restaurant, etc.
Perfect timing! We’re picking up our first RV Friday! 🙂 Thanks!
Thanks! Taking my eight year old niece and my mom on their first RV trip in the summer and we were just starting to make our menus!
thanks for posting this freebie!
Our family fulltime travels in our RV, and cooking in it for a family of 12 to 14 (depending on if the big kids are home), is a lot different than in a regular kitchen! I’ve never wanted to fork over the money for an RV cookbook tho, so this is a great way to try one! Thanks Collin!
