YES!!! I have been HOPING this would come up soon. I bought one for my husband last year & he loved it so much I bought one for each of his brother’s for Christmas. Now my Husband’s friend plays with this every time he comes over. He is my daughter’s God parent, so this is a great gift for him!!
These helis are just AMAZING! My 13yr old has two, and hubby has one. We have given them as gifts and everyone we give them to just loves them, young and old alike! Totally worth it – I’m grabbing another one to keep in the gift closet 
I bought one of these last year for my 13 yr old Grandson. He loved it and has had many hours of enjoyment flying it!!! Very good quality.

I got this for my boyfriend and gave it to him a week ago for his birthday. This was his absolute favorite gift– and there were some really pricey ones in the mix. They are pretty durable but I would suggest getting the $3 replacement parts pack at the same time. A wing broke after 100 crash landings or so. It was very easy to replace. The only drawback is that it runs for just 5 minutes per 40 minute charge and the player will want to use it non-stop. He is 28. So, this is great for the kid-at-heart. The cats are not amused, however.
My husband got one a few months ago and got a good amount of enjoyment out of it. I think we paid more too, around $25. I just bought two more, one for my brother in law and one for my dad for Christmas.
These are tiny. My mind was thinking of something big, but they fit in the palm of your hand. I’ve heard they are fun though!
This thing is horrible, so not worth even $16! Ours didnt even work correctly out of the box…didnt get crashed so its getting returned! Horrible product…
We have three ourselves, and did finally break one. The cat pulled it out of the air and attacked like godzilla! However, even without the tail propeller it still flies, it’s just hard to steer. We found replacement parts on amazon for $4, and are watching the mail for them now. We have given these as gifts numerous times, and every time we get thanked over and over again! We do tell people not to overcharge the battery or it won’t work from the get go, and turn off your ceiling fans 😉 I’m ordering yet another for the gift pile!!!
Bought one for my hubby based on all the rave reviews. We could never get it to hover – it flew or crashed landed only. You couldn’t get very far from it with the remote at all or it would just fall to the ground. It was also WAY tiny – much, much smaller than I thought and far too delicate a toy for anyone younger than an older teen. IMO – wish I hadn’t spent the $. Just thought I would give an alternate opinion.
I gave 7 of these last year as Christmas gifts. The age range, 68, 43, 13(x2), 11, 9 and 7. The 11 and one 14 year old have needed replacement parts but they all still work. The 68 year old took his to Florida. The 43 year old took his to work to play with in the 3 story foyer and was the envy of his co-workers. I ordered 2 more to have on hand for my son to give as gifts. I’m thinking of ordering more for my husband to give to his bosses.
Just FYI, like everyone else who’s said it’s a hit: we ordered one of these last year for Christmas and it’s still working great!
Please know that you get what you pay for with this $16 helicopter. These are way overvalued compared to other RC helicopters that are available in hobby stores. I did order one of these for my son at Christmas last year…I would not recommend it for anything other than a toy that will work for a short period of time & then will likely need to be thrown. Yes, there are replacement parts available for SOME of the parts. After about 1 month my son’s helicopter broke and we did take it in to try to get it repaired and were told it was not fixable. He saved up his money and recently spent $120 of his own money on a really nice RC helicopter from a hobby store that sells complete replacement parts for every piece on the helicopter. It did need to be serviced this past week and we took it in, had helpful staff who showed my son how to put on the replacement part & we were back in business. His current copter will be one that he will likely get many years of enjoyment out of. If you are interested in a copter that will last through hours and hours of use and is repairable, do not buy the Syma.
