So I just had my daughters pictures taken at JCP Portraits and they had a deal that was 11.00 and included 1 free sitting fee, 1 8×10, 2 5×7’s, and 8 wallets with 2 poses through the end of this month. Additional sheets were 4.00. When I called Sears they said that the 10×30 is free but each addional sheet is 9.99. Not sure if others feel the same, but I know how hard it is to go through the work of a photo shoot just for 1 10×30. You always want more. It seems like a better deal to go through JCP and then you only have to pay 4.00 for each additional sheet and you get 2 poses. Just my humble opinion.
Yes! I agree! Their goal is to get you in for the free 10×30 but they always make sure to do lots of different poses and backgrounds. Charging full price for any extras. Then when you pick up your photo they offer you to buy more at $9.99 a sheet or else they will just throw them away. Always, a catch. But if you have the will power to resist more then go for this freebie. I was given lots of attitude when I didn’t purchase more… like I was cheating them or something. Hey guy… you sent me the free pictures email! LOL
I have gotten so many FREE pictures from Sears! I love it! They are always offering up FREEBIES! It is very close and convenient for me to get there on my husbands day off with the family! If I lived closer to a JCP though, I’d go there! Whatever is easier that you’ll be able to go to is most important!
Thanks for posting about the JCP option. I read that the free sitting is only for one person and each additional $9 per person. The Sears deal says “no session fee” and does not say there is a limit to the number of people. While the studio did say it can be difficult to fit more than two people in the picture because it’s so skinny the promo picture above show a family of three. I just booked this for my daughter and son-in-law. She is expecting in early December and wanted to get a nice pregnancy photo. Hope they can fit her baby belly in the frame! LOL!
When I called they told me it was good for 1 sitting fee. Not sure if they were misinformed. It would be a much better deal if more than one person was able to be in the photo without having extra sitting fees.
We are a family of 8—-6 kids: couldn’t we “stack” the kids on top of each other? I think that would make for a cute pic! 🙂
Make it horizontal and put the kids in a line…youngest to oldest. They should all fit that way
OH, yes, DUH!!!! In a row would be even BETTER! 🙂 Does it work that way with their camera, or will they have to go vertical? I’ll call tomorrow and ask! Thanks!
i think make all the kids lay on each other so you only see their heads peeking up over the next head…poor kid on the bottom hahahahha
I believe sears normally has a package similar to jcp for $7 or $8… Not sure what additional sheets cost but 10 x30 is a nice big size that doesn’t usually come in any packages or even sheet size as it is a specialty or custom size…
There are additional coupons on the website as well under “special offers”…does anyone know if you can use more than one coupon?
The fine print on the coupon says you cannot.
@ Carrie, in my experience Sears will offer additional sheets up to 40% off when you check out. When we had our our session we told them we were only interested in the freebie after our session they did offer us lower package prices. Just sayin’
Oh, and on top of that, Sears emailed us additional offers on the pictures and coupons for future sessions.
Awesome, good thinking Cynthia! Thank you!
We just went and did this as our family of three and it turned out great and was completely free! I can’t wait to get it in a few weeks. Thanks so much!

*code 3free2
Does this work if you go in for the free 10×30 as well?!
Yes it does. All images from your session are available online for future purchasing.
Awesome! Thanks!
Thanks, for great deal… Will these codes also work with walmart portrait offer?
is there a limit on how many coupon codes can be used on their website? like can the free sheets and free shipping codes be used together?
I don’t think so I’ve used four codes at once and got my entire order for free. The free shipping codes don’t usually appear until the very end. They make you put in your credit card info too.
This is my favorite deal. Theybusually run a 9.99 promo with lots and lots of pics. Latest promo is 14.99 for 44 portraits including 5 cards. They are always super nice and take great shots and at that price, I can afford to take pics more often of my always changing toddler

How will you frame the 10×30? I don’t think that’s a standard size frame 🙁
They will offer to frame it for $50… I got one a few weeks ago for free that turned out really cute, but they want to make money on the framing. I’m still not sure what I’m going to do with it!
