FREE Entrance to Participating National Parks (August 25th)
In celebration of the National Park Service’s Birthday, you can take advantage of an Entrance-Free Day at over 100 participating National Parks on Sunday, August 25th. This is a perfect opportunity to relax with your family and get those kiddos out of the house for an outdoor adventure 😉 ! Check out the list of participating parks here.
Kumquats are good for you!!
What?
FYI-If you are a disabled veteran (i.e., you claim disability through the VA) you can get a free lifetime pass to all national parks. I just got mine this past week and am very excited about it. Just tell the attendant that you are a disabled veteran, provide proof, and they hand you your park pass to sign and away you go…for free now, and for evermore!
Same benefit if you’re active duty, too!
Thank you for your service. My son is a disabled vet and gets that benefit. God bless.
We were planning on a drive to Yosemite…but with the forest fires, I think we’ll stay home.
Yay! We’re going to the Everglades! 😀
We were able to take in the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park which is normally $15!
