It supports each child’s learning by offering individual, one-on-one lessons that allow children to progress at their own rate. At Reading Eggs, learning to read is enjoyable as well as rewarding. With interactive animations, fun games, great songs, an arcade and writing centre, Reading Eggs is a great place to learn to read! Children are highly motivated to return again and again.
I was on their site the other day, and had a terrible time finding out what the rates are to subscribe, did you find it anywhere?
If you click on the Purchase menu, you’ll be able to view the prices. Hope that helps! 😀
If you are looking for a free online program starfall . com is great. My sons Kindergarten teacher has the kids use it during computer time.
I have taught computers in an elementary school for over 15 years and I love the Reading Eggs program. In fact my school purchases this program annually since it has been available in the US. This program is great for pre-k -5th grade. They now have a comprehension gym section for older students. The Starfall program is a good program for Pre-K – K students but doesn’t go through the depth of instruction like Reading Eggs. Reading Eggs also provides detailed reports of what your child is learning and what their weaknesses are. I really recommend this program for the summer slump.
I’m a reading specialist and love this program! My daughter will be using it everyday over the summer!
I am a hugh fan of Reading Eggs. If you decide to do the trial make sure that your child is on it everyday to get the full benefit of the trial, and if you can afford it I would purchase it. It’s been a lifesaver for my niece.
My son LOVES his Reading Eggs. He is soon to graduate kindergarten and is on level 96/100.
It’s entertaining, he’s having fun, and he’s learning!!! I can’t stand games that have no educational value.
Also, if your child has it at school, ask the teacher for the login. That’s what we did (its free for us) and he’s been hooked!
Doesn’t appear to be working. Takes me to a blank page.
