Hey I just wanted to add a comment about using cartwheel . If you use cartwheel, then try to use another coupon of any kind afterwards the registers will freeze up and your whole transaction will have to be redone :/ I know this because while shopping tonight with my two littles it froze 🙁 this also happened to my friend the other day. The cashier said we need to spread the word to use cartwheel last and they are trying to fix the problem on their end. Not sure if this is everywhere, but they said its happened for everyone that has attempted at their store. I normally do all target, then cartwheel and then Manu and never had an issue until now. Good luck shopping !!!
Hmm, the other day I used cartwheel, mobile coupons, than mq and tqs and everything went fine. Maybe their registers are older, this is a fairly new super target (about 8 years old)
I had no problem using the cartwheel app 1st and then the coupons after where i live in Maine so maybe they had a glitch or something 🙂
I’ve used other coupons (manu or Target) after scanning the Cartwheel barcode at two different Targets and never had a problem. Though maybe I’ll save the Cartwheel for last in the future, just to be sure 🙂 That would be a huge hassle!
Jamie, I also had this happen to me. My stuff had to be rescanned three times! Then, as we are just getting done ringing in the stuff for the third time, the other two computers opened back up again. My concern is if you ring in the cartwheel last, and you have other coupons, will your cartwheel savings be less?
The target did give me a courtesy discount for the wait. I was thankful I didnt have the little one with me!
Ya, the same thing happened at my Target store, used Cartwheel first and it froze the machine. Cashier had to scan our whole cart full of back-to-school stuff again, we used the mfg cpns, then she took the Cartwheel. Our store is not even a year old. They know the problem is with Cartwheel, something about how there are many people using it now and she wonders if it crashes their system.
Where is the Dial coupon?
Just a side note for teachers shopping for back to school supplies. Teachers get 4x the limits at Office Depot. So if the limit for general public is 3 then teachers can buy 12;)
I’m new to couponing, but I’ve used coupons forTarget before, and the cahsier always had to fix the register or do something to it. The coupon didn’t immediately deduct the amount. Does this always happen? I’d like to coupon more, but I feel like it’s a huge hassle and incovenience to those waiting in line and the cashiers 🙁
I love Target and all their coupons but I have also encountered problems with the mobile coupons and cartwheels. The cashiers are always helpful and apply them but you have to watch carefully.
Worst case, if you feel like you are taking up too much time in the check out line, you can take your receipt and coupons over to customer service. However, I have found that they don’t adjust tax on a previous purchase that you forgot a coupon for, they only give you cash for the value of the coupon. Don’t let dumb computers discourage you from couponing!
Thanks for the info. I do worry about taking too much time in the line and sometimes people give off that body language and looks that say “HURRY UP!”
I think the main thing is you have to do cartwheel first then mobile coupons then all other coupons. Its all about the order.
The Buitini deal must be regional, my sauce did not ring up free. 🙁
Mine neither. 🙁
The Men’s Dial bodywash was $3.99 at my target…is it supposed to be $2.99?
