Candy Corn on the Cob (Love This!)
Here’s a fun food craft perfect for Fall that my kids really enjoyed. The basic idea is to use egg-less sugar cookie dough and make a candy corn on the cob! This is also a great way to use up leftover candy corn after Halloween. Plus, wouldn’t these be cute for a Halloween party?!
Candy Corn on the Cobb
yield: 2 SERVINGS
Make this fun sweet treat with an eggless cookie dough recipe!
Ingredients
Eggless Sugar Cookie Dough:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/8 cup sugar
- Candy Corn
Directions
1
Mix room temperature butter and sugar.
2
Add vanilla and milk.
3
Combine salt, flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
4
Combine the dry and wet ingredients, using either a spatula or your hands. Add the extra 3T flour as needed until dough becomes less sticky. You don't want dough to be too tough or sticky.
5
To make the candy corn on the cob:
Make sure your dough is very cold. So put it in the fridge after you make it for at least an hour. Grab about a fistful of dough and make a ball, then make a tube shape about 3 inches long, and flatten the ends. Start placing the candy corn in rows with the pointy end inside the dough.
Continue all the way around until it looks like a corn on the cob!
6
We only made two of these and then made cookies with the rest of the dough! With the leftover dough, as an option, you can Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes. Enjoy!

So cute! What a fun activity for the Thanksgiving kids’ table. Thanks for the idea.
its rlly cute but what do you do with the dough on the corn on the cob?is it edible.
Yes, it’s edible uncooked and since there are no eggs there’s no worry of salmonella.
I feel stupid asking this but I really don’t bake. Is the dough baked on the corn cob or is it “raw” ? Can you eat the dough?
Don’t bake it with the candy corn or you’ll have a sticky mess. I would not use pre-made dough unless you find one without eggs due to the worry of salmonella.
Since there’s no egg in the dough, I’m guessing its edible?
Yep.
OMG, LOVE this!!!! 🙂
And yes, you can eat the raw dough. It doesn’t have any eggs in it.
I like using a banana instead.
That’s a great idea too! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh, great idea, Jessica!
Large marshmallows work for the middle, too!
Very cute idea! But can you imagine eating all that candy corn along with the cookie center? I would get sick! Lol! Have to share with someone.
One of these by themselves is likely 600-700 calories. just FYI
Lol, I was getting queasy just looking at it… and I love me some candy 🙂 It’s cute though!
On Pinterest they used a banana for the center it was really cute!
