Walmart: Two 18 lb Bags of Kingsford Charcoal Briquets Only $8.98 Total
Walmart shoppers! Through April 5th, the twin packs of Kingsford Charcoal (which include two 18 lb bags!) are on sale for just $8.98 total – making each 18 lb bag just $4.49! This is an awesome sale price considering one 18 lb bag usually retails for over $10! This sale is also advertised on the front page of the Walmart Sunday flyer (or at least in Boise it was), as you can see from the pic above. Make sure to price check if these twin packs aren’t marked on sale at your local store.
I want to think that last year they had a 2-pk of charcoal for $5 at some point.
I looked back at last year as well – the deal was actually 2 15-lb bags of Briquets for $6.98 total so this is fairly similar.
I love when Walmart does this deal. We stock up every year. Can’t wait to bbq. Thank you Collin.
Always sold out by the time i get there Wait for deals from Home Depot
I was just going to learn how to grill this weekend. Great news!!
The advertised sale price here in Wisconsin WM flyer is $10.24.
Are these quick start..just using a match and they ignite or do u need lighting fluid
These require fluid. But we were introduced a couple years ago to a charcoal chimney. It is awesome. You put the charcoal in it and some paper under it. You light the paper and let it sit there for awhile to get hot. The coals get hot so much faster. We have two since our grill is so larger.
We use an electric starter—–works great! No mess!
In tampa it is 14.97. Bummer
be sure when you are going in the store ha its the product advertised. Last year the specially priced charcoal was in blue wrapping while the others were in clear wrapping
I just left my walmart and was told they sold out of them Saturday but they were $15.00 then. They had tons of sungle bags but not double
I went yesterday and the lady in customer service said that store never received the ones on sale. I was mad. Normally home Depot runs the same sale.
I went this morning in Buffalo, NY and they had a pallet full. Priced at $8.98. Thank you on behalf of my husband! 🙂
Agree with Kathy – A charcoal chimney is a great was to get your coals ready without lighter fluid. Learned it from Alton Brown on “Good Eats”!
What a great deal! Will have to try and get some
Anyone know of a store that price matches? I just trucked out to my Walmart and they sold out yesterday morn. Said he thought they weren’t gonna get anymore in either. I remembered why I never, ever shop there. They got $60 out of me on spring break craft kits for my 3 kiddos and some groceries…and that may be one of my last stops there for the year. Such a great deal…
My Brother in law works at Home Depot and he said they will price match that. He works at a Utah store so maybe call your local Home Depot and ask…
I would definitely call first… I went to one Walmart sold out yesterday morning. She said a lot of people bought some for opening day. Called the other one only 2 left.
They are $8.98 in Houston and last year our store had these for months. Mostly because they were never marked. They started off with an entire aisle with them (and no sign with their special price). Then they moved them to the outside patio area. They scanned the correct price but they weren’t movers.
Great day to barbecue. Just grilled some turkey hot links, wings and chicken Breast to make sandwiches.
All gone at walmarts in sw Michigan/NE Indiana.
Home Depot will price match. It has to be the exact same size
Whoop whoop! I was in Walmart anyway and picked up two packs! My husband was so shocked and happy! From Lynchburg, VA!
Went to two walmarts and both were very unhelpful. I looked over the entire store and couldn’t locate any nor a sign so i figured I would check with customer service. Customer service just pointed to the “while supplies last” section and told me to go back to garden and check for myself. The gentleman in garden had no clue what I was looking for and told me they didn’t carry an 18lb twin pack. The next Walmart told me they ran out of the 16lb twins and there was no such thing as an 18lb twin pack. Oh well! I’ll see if my homedepot will price match. (Glendale Heights, IL and Streamwood, IL stores)
The twin pack was $8.98 at my Wal-Mart, but only 13.8 lb bags.
