If you have a Home Depot nearby, you can now sign up for the FREE Kids Workshop on June 7th where kids can build a Pint-Size Riding Lawn Mower. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered the 1st Saturday at all The Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM. Also keep in mind that registration is still open for the Free Flower Planter Workshop on May 3rd.

And don’t forget to register for the upcoming Lowe’s Kids Clinic as well! On Saturday, May 10th, at 10AM, head on into Lowe’s where kids can build a FREE Flower Delivery Truck! Be sure to register your kiddos now if you haven’t already as spots tend to fill up quickly! If you’ve never attended one of these free Kid’s Clinics, check out my previous experience here.

Are they strict on the age? My son is 3 1/2 but he loves to build things and I’d love to take him.

No they are not. I took my 2 year old last month and we are going tomorrow too!

They let my son who was about 3 build. I stayed with him and held pieces and supervised so I don’t see a problem. Fun times 🙂

No, they’re not strict at all. My kids love these clinics. I always stay right there with them & help them all along. The clinics here are usually pretty full, so there’s not many helpers from Home Depot available to assist your kiddos, so it’s important that you stay nearby to aid your little ones yourself. Super duper FREE fun for your kids! 🙂

My nephew is 2 years old, but he loves evrything about car. Can I take him there and help him build it or he needs to be 5?

No they are not. I took my 2 year old last month and we are going tomorrow too!

I have heard from others that they are not strict about age and that they often take their younger ones to the workshops and help them. They both end up having a blast!

The ones that I have been to never offer to help with kids. There must be an adult there to do the workshop. That was at the lowes ones.

I took my 2.5 to last time and they had no problem letting him come. I did most of the building though lol but he loved the painting part.

I have taken my daughter since she was 2 …. They never asked and her brothers had been going for years (every month) before I had her …. And sometimes there are guys walking around helping 🙂 (I have to help all 3 kids at once so any help is nice)

The lawn mower is adorable. If only it was my weekend with the kids. Hug your little ones letting go is hard!!

These are so much fun. My 5 year old son has such a good time and is always proud of his projects. I missed out on the flower truck in my area at lowes cuz it’s all filled but I hope everyone else has had better luck. 🙂
