Amazon: Disney Day of Lightning Deals (Save Big on Highly Rated Toys, Games & More)
Today only, Amazon.com is hosting a Disney Day of Deals and offering up some great deals on popular Disney toys, games, dolls and more. These “Lightning Deals” can be found here (scroll down) and go live at different times throughout the day allowing you to save BIG on lots of great items.
Even sweeter, Prime members get a 30-minute early access to select Amazon Lightning Deals. If you see something that you like, be sure you snatch it up right away as there are only a limited number of Lightning Deals available and they tend to expire quickly.
(Thanks, Kristina!)
Those prices don’t really seen like sales. They’re the same prices i saw at the Disney Store last week. I’ve been eyeing the Polar Express train for a while and it’s the same price.
You need to wait until the item is “live”. Then the price goes down. Definitely worth it…I love Lightning Deals. Throughout November and December, they match or beat prices of “hot” items that are Black Friday prices.
The prices will go down when it’s time for the deal. They do not release the sale price until then.
Am I the only one that is a bit disappointed with some of these lighting deal prices? We usually love lighting deals and get great prices on Christmas and birthday gifts at this time of year. Some of them are only going down $1-2 though.
I agree. The prices aren’t that great when they go live and a lot of the things that are listed seems like junk they are trying to get rid of-also not a good selection for a little boy that is 17 months old. Matter of fact, most sales usually seem to be directed to little girls-I am so tired of seeing Frozen stuff on sale-lol! Anyway, hopefully we will start seeing better sales and and more stuff targeted for little boys! Btw, thank you Collin for all that you do, along with your sidekicks!!!
I completely agree! I have a 2 year old son who’s OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse so I was super excited to see Disney was a lightning deal event…. and of course it’s more Frozen junk. The very few Mickey items they do offer are a couple board games and a tent. Meh. I was already disappointed that the only 50% off deal at Target this week that could work for him for Christmas was a poorly rated Mega Blok truck. Hopefully something comes along for our little boys!
I agree not impressed things im looking at have only gone down couple bucks.
Last year it seemed like the better deals came after Thanksgiving honestly. So far haven’t been impressed with what’s been up either. Hoping after Thanksgiving it gets better!
I got the Anna Pop figurine. Although they aren’t deep discounts those figures are always right around 9 or 10, and the steal price was for 7 something. So definitely the best price you’ll find around.
How does this work? How do I know when the deal is live?
When you go to amazon main page, click on deals. Scroll down till you see the lightening deals. Go thru to what you’d be interested in, then click on claim. You’ll have 15 mins to checkout or you’ll lose the deal in a sense. A tidbit, the toys like Thomas or Melissa & Doug go quick, so snag them and checkout.
In addition, the deals that are live will have the claim. Other lightening deals begin at certain times throughout the day.
Don’t they usually have a posted time of when they are live? I am interested in the Fur Real pet but am not sure if this is the best price or if it will go down further.
The Anna dress only went down $0.80! Not much of a deal
Also, remember that the lightning deal doesn’t guarantee that it’s Amazon’s lowest price of the season for that item. Last year, the large Playmobile soccer set was a lightning deal in December, but within a week it was listed at a lower sale price.
Dusty went for $29.99 I doubt u will see it for less than that. My target is sold out and it was $44.99
I just found the same jake pirate costume at target yesterday for $2 in the Halloween clearance! I’m curious to see what amazon price will be.
