Amazon: Gift Card Lightning Deals Starting Soon (Save on Claire’s, EXPRESS, LongHorn Steakhouse + More)
Today only, Amazon.com is offering up select Gift Card Lightning Deals to popular stores and restaurants. These “Lightning Deals” can be found here (scroll down) and go live at different times throughout the day allowing you to save BIG (and remember, you can combine gift cards with store coupons to save even more!).
Even sweeter, Prime members get a 30-minute early access to select Amazon Lightning Deals. If you see something that you like, be sure you snatch it up right away as there are only a limited number of Lightning Deals available and they tend to expire quickly.

the american eagle says 10am for prime members — what time zone is that in?
i am a prime member on EST.
I think it tells you what time it is for you because mine says 9am and I’m CST
interesting that yours says that……….mine still says 10am with no time zone reference and that it’s an upcoming deal.

The American eagle one says it starts at 7 am on my screen. I’m in California and it is 8:15 here. So I’m confused!

I have seen post where people got their gift cards and they were not load with a value. What do you do if this happens?
How many lightening deals can one get is it the usual one? Like the kindle deals?

I’m completely confused by the timing. At first it told me the long horn deal would be available to me at 12:03pm, then it changed to 12:05 pm, 12:05 came and the clock started counting down again. It was made available to me just now, but it says 100% claimed the second it was displayed. Total waste of an hour.
I think the Long Horn one went extremely fast. It was gone when I logged on 11 minutes after they opened it.
Btw, I watched the Clare’s one and it was fast, so I assume this one was even faster!
Same thing happened to me before on another deal. I complained to them that it was never actually available, and they gave me a $5 credit, so not a total waste of my time lol.
