  I placed orders twice for shoes. I never received a shipping email or any kind of notice that the first pair wasn’t coming after my initial order confirmation. I received the second pair just fine.

  I’ve ordered from Cabela’s for years. They have brick and mortar stores across the country . I’ve ordered jackets, boots, etc. and never had an issue so far..

   I placed a large Christmas order for my teenage son. Everything I bought was in stock and my email order confirmation stated the same. When my shipment arrived, some of my items were back ordered and not scheduled to arrive until February. I had received no prior notifications so that I could buy those items elsewhere. I had to make two phone calls totaling over 30 minutes of my time to cancel the back ordered items. It was my first experience with Cabelas. I was disappointed.

  Same experience. We ordered four items for our teenage kids, everything showed in stock at time of order. Money came off CC… order ship and arrived last week. Three of the four items arrived, the fourth was on backordered, no notice… nothing. Money is still out for the fourth item. Been trying to call and cancel order to receive a refund, can’t get thru, hold times are long. Just an FYI.

   I have a few Cabelas bucks, but they don’t have much of a selection of bedding sets in queen. I have a fishing themed bedroom and have been eyeing their bedding sets forever. I should have took the plunge earlier!

   I ordered from them too. Got an email saying they would notify me when my order shipped. Never received any email so I had to contact them and they said the item was out of stock so my order was cancelled. They didn’t notify me of this. So if ordering for Christmas I would definitely call and make sure before you place an order.
