A little off topic, but I bought a bahama breeze gift card this week on the lightening deal, as well as a couple others, but when I got them today I called to check the balance and the bahama breeze one says invalid gift card so it is no good. I called Amazon and they will send another but I would have been embarrassed if this was a gift!!
This can happen even when purchasing from a retailer, my Aunt gave me a 25.00 gift card to Babies R Us and when I went to use it had a 0.00 balance. She was able to get it fixed but I understood, mistakes happen 🙂
Thanks for letting us know! I always try to check the balance when I receive a gift card. But I have read several comments about people receiving gift cards from Amazon with $0 balance.
I have not received my $10 yet. I think the fine print says it will be credited to the account by 1/15/2015.

It showed ” Congrats….” on the final page after I entered the promotion code. Then I could not see the $20 promotion any where in the “order history”. I wonder if that is normal.
