Still waiting to hear back from Saving Star on the rest of my credit that is owed to me from last weeks Reese egg. I purchased it at CVS. It was a Buy one get one for .25. I was only given .62
This is not what I paid. I paid .99
Seems like week after week I’m contacting them about something. Getting to be more of a hassle that’s not worth the freebie.

I received an e-mail a few days ago correcting this error. I didn’t request the adjustment.

lucky you. I’ve contacted them now twice. Just heard back from them. It’s like pulling teeth some weeks

    Another Laura here…lol

Has anyone submitted receipts successfully not using their mobile app? I don’t have a smart phone or android tablet, so took pictures of my receipt using a Kindle fire photo app. Not clear enough they say. So I am not paid. However, whenever I have an issue and must show my receipt, they can see it clearly using the same Kindle fire app.

I have an idea. I don’t know about things on their end, but if you have a printer that scans, try scanning the receipt and emailing it to them. That would be clear as a bell… I don’t know who you could call, but you can try… If your printer doesn’t scan, libraries have scanners for free and you can send the image to your email and you can send it on to them. Do you think the scan would work??? Just trying to help.

When I use my computer instead of the app, I scan the receipt, and it works great. If you don’t have a scanner, make sure you have a LOT of light and hold the camera very still. It might help to tape it to the wall and take the picture that way – it’s easier to hold the camera steady. The difference between when you send a receipt for a deal and when you have a customer service issue is because they probably use automated software to credit you for the deals.
