I’ve tried 4 times to become a reward member. I fill it all out, and submit and it says we’re sorry we are unable to process your request. When I try to do their live chat, I get a screen that says we hope you enjoy the rest of your shopping trip. Anyone else having that problem?

If u are on phone, try regular computer/laptop. If u are already on 1, try different browser. If u are using app, try website, & maybe vice versa

    BEST printer EVER!!!

  4. Tiffany

Love this printer, though there are times where this goes on sale 49.00-59.00 quite often actually.

    • Kamaya

I have never seen it for those prices before. Can you let me know which store I can get it from for those prices? Thank you

      • Swirlypop

Usually around Christmas you can purchase it for $50. That’s what I paid. Great great printer!

        • Arch

I got the same printer but a refurb from Staples for $30! Works beautifully.. had it for more than 3 years now.

        • jlgclassof2000

Omg so much better than hp inkjets ive been using for yrs…the ink cartridges on the hp’s just mysteriously started printing fewer & fewer pages and i finally got sick of being robbed by hp! It was ridiculous. Even the brother sample size cartridge that came with the printer printed SO MANY pages, it was unreal! Woudlve taken 2 $30-40 hp cartridges to that much printing. Now that ive finally had to buy a cartridge, i expect to print many many pages with it!

    • jlgclassof2000

Me too…noticed how several retailers put it on “sale” for $70-90, but i got mine for 40-60 from office depot. Id say they put it on sale that cheap 4 times /yr. Try using poachit to track the price

I love this printer! If you are on the fence, it’s a great one. (y)

This is out of the topic, Staples is also offering 30% for containers plus 6% exclusive offer. The 7 Qt Bella clear container is usually priced for $7.00 dropped to $4.06 then e I went through ebates with another 2% back free shipping for staples reward members.

  7. Jing

My math was off I meant $4.60.

  8. Leanne

    Is this also a copier?

    • Inna

      No, this version only prints.

      • jlgclassof2000

        And only blk and white

I would like to know the cost of ink for this printer…does anyone know?

    • shopper

It uses toner. On the product page is a supplies list, that show’s the toner cost.

    • Swirlypop

Catherine, I simply refill the toner cartridge. It costs me $5 and I do it about once a year. HTH

      • Arch

I have always wanted to try it out.. Where do you buy the toner from?

        • Swirlypop

          Amazon! 😄

Catherine, this is a laser printer and it uses the toner TN 660 which is pricey for the original, but I use linkup brand of replacement toners which you can buy for $10- $12 and they work well.
I have a multifunction 2280dw and I love it. I have printed tons of coupons and schoolwork for my kids without problem and during the last 2 years I have replaced the starter catridge only once and it’s still going.
I wanted to buy this one as a backup, but hold myself off as I have other things to do now. Rather than buying a back-up.HTH.
If u have questions about toner catridge or some me thing u can email me at smeetj80@gmail.com , I will answer.
Someone here in this forum answered my questions for which Inbought my laser printer and am thankful and want to pass it forward.

This thing prints so many pgs per cartridge that its totally worth even buying brother full priced cartridges. Im always hesitant to refill, but im sure the technology to do it is much better than i remember it being yrs ago when refilling always seemed to end in disaster

  11. Christine

Does anyone know if you can print from an iPad to this printer?

    • Angela

Yes you can print from an Ipad and Iphone. You just have to download the Brother Iprint and scan app! Love this printer by the way. Got this printer a few months ago and I’m still using the starter toner and I’ve printed tons of coupons already:)

      • jlgclassof2000

Whoa! I thought it had to be a wifi printer for that! And yes,the sample prints TONS! YOULL BE SOOOOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. In fact, are we sure it doesnt come with a regular cartridge?

    • Erica

Yes it supports it… All wireless printing

  12. Mimi

I recently bought a canon laserjet that is not compatible with the coupons.com app. That is the reason why I bought a new printer. Can anyone recommend a laserjet printer they’ve had experience with?

    • jlgclassof2000

This is 1 isnt it? It worked with coupons.com for quite some time, until about 3wks ago in fact. Havent got the issue resolved but surely its compatible if it worked many times before
