And check out the video above to watch how easy (and affordable!) it is to make a Starbucks Latte at home using an AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker. Consider the fact that if you drink Starbucks lattes daily (5 times per week) and spend an average of $4 per latte, you can save yourself a whopping $1,000 every year by making these beverages at home.

I know we all have our “guilty” pleasures, but Starbucks is not one of mine. It kills me to pay $4 for a coffee. However last weekend we were out of town and decided to stop and get 2 regular tall coffees with cream and sugar, nothing fancy. After waiting in the drive through for almost 15 min, I got my coffee and assumed it would be “hot” so I set it in my cup holder and started down the road. About a mile later at a stop light I decided to brave it and take a drink only to realize it was COLD. My husband took a sip and couldn’t believe it…Again this is why even at $1.75 Startbucks is not worth it to me!

Thank you so much for this video!!! I was debating getting the small espresso maker from target that you posted earlier but I’m reeaaallly short on counter space and this would work so much better!

      You’re so welcome, Katie! 🙂

Although this is a “cool” gadget, I make my own espresso by just putting a coffee filter over a coffee cup and keeping it in place w/a hair tie! After the water has seeped through, I give it a good squeeze. I do love my frother though — I have the same one you showed.

So, I have a question. . .I am not a coffee drinker, but my husband LOVES coffee. ..we have been considering a keurig, since he likes a cup, now and then, in the evening. (he drinks about 1 pot at work-that I make for him in the mornings.) Obviously, this is a LOT cheaper than a Keurig, but is it the same idea? He is a straight black coffee drinker. no cream, milk, syrup, etc. . .He does like it dark and strong. Thanks for all of the tips!!!!

Go with this option! My husband is the same. And with the keurig you are going to have to spend about 1$ a cup/pod. This one youll get more of a better value for the price of the areopress and coffee. My husband doesnt even use his keurig , went back to the bodum coffee maker

I decided to take the “plunge” and get one! it has to be so much cheaper than the keurigs. . .we will figure it out! thanks for the great deal, Collin!!

Darn, wasn’t free shipping for me (Hawaii)

My hubby has one of these and LOVES it! He uses it every day. It does take some time to make your coffee but he says the taste is great. He uses the filters several times too.

VISAWEEK4 isnt working for me, anyone else having this problem? I am using my visacheckout account, am I missing something? TIA

    • nicolegammeter

The code is still taking $10 off for me. Maybe try a different browser and let me know if that works. Thanks!

      • Casi Fouse

Thanks! Finally got it when I used Mozilla as opposed to Chrome. Good call Collin! <3 Thanks for all your hard work- you da woman! 😉

The code worked for me on my mobile, however my order was cancelled.

    • Casi Fouse

OMG Collin, I 💜 your video. I’m a bit addicted to the mocha frappe at McDonalds with a shot of expresso, BUT, since starting weight watchers, I’ve been watching my points. I don’t drink hot coffee (or anything hot come to think of it). Is expresso a certain type of coffee?!?! I purchased a frappe maker last summer but need that expresso shot to make it effective. Can you recommend a type of expresso? I’m so lost in the “coffee world.”

The code is not working for me. I tried on Mozilla but it’s not working 🙁

  12. Helen

Code not working for me either. I got an “Invalid code.” Error… after I’d logged in to Visa Checkout and then was redirected back to Rakuten for final checkout. Bummer.

PS – it looks like perhaps that code expired, but there is another code advertised on the site (DADSGRADS) for $10 off $75 in home/ sports/ health/ fashion & grooming gifts if you are looking to buy something else anyhow.
