Once your coconut oil arrives, watch this video to find out how you can easily make your own popcorn at home in your microwave using just 3 ingredients (one of them is Coconut Oil!) and a paper sack! I have purchased a few things from Tropical Traditions and the products are great. I use their lip balms, coconut cream concentrate(coconut butter), palm shortening, and just tried the foaming hand soap. My kids LOVE the coconut butter and ask for just a scoop of it with their snack time. The lip balms are probably the best I’ve tried and the hand soap is the only kind I can use that doesn’t just dry my hands so bad they crack.

In the Fall, at the end of corn season, a local farm lets us pick the left over dried corn for free. We put the entire corn cob in a paper bag, pop it in the microwave for a couple of minutes, and pour it into a bowl. Just pull out the cob, season, and enjoy! So yummy and so fun!

I’ve been making popcorn this way for years! It’s definitely easy. I do mine a little different. I pop the popcorn, then add some melted butter and salt on top, instead of adding to the bag. I’m usually able to use the paper bag twice this way! I would never buy microwave popcorn again. I also want to add, if you have a high-powered microwave, try less time at first. It only takes one minute and thirty-two seconds in mine! I also have a popcorn addiction and have mastered this technique!
