(Thanks, Melissa!)
What kind of flavors? Just for my info what to expect
I bought some last time they were $5 and there was like cajun, bbq, garlic, lemon…I think those are all.
My store had plain, simple (salt and pepper), herb roasted (herbs on outside), and Indian spiced
Give them a call ๐
This sounds like a GREAT deal! Thanks Collin! ๐
You’re welcome! ๐
How big are these?
They are very small, maybe 1 1/2 lbs at most. In comparison, Costco sells whole 3 lb rotisserie chickens for $5. If you’re into flavors, that’s different.
Does anyone know if they’re organic/free range/whatever?
Ashlee here is some info on the chicken from the link in the post
“Our chickens are 5-Stepโข Animal Welfare Rated and raised without antibiotics or added growth hormones.”
They are step 2 but yes no crates cages or crowding, enriched environment etc it’s a long list. https://m.wholefoodsmarket.com/mission-values/animal-welfare/5-step-animal-welfare-rating
From Collins links..https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/about-our-products/quality-standards/animal-welfare-standard
Which raises many more questions.
It raises more questions about the chickens that are NOT approved by this process. Aka walmart, costco, most grocery stores…
Dope!!!
