Grossly overpriced shipping.
My thoughts exactly! I actually emailed their customer service I was so annoyed. We will stick to our (free!) library books.
Ever hear of media mail, and combined shipping.
Can you pick the book or are they already in a set for this deal?
I do not find this website to be user friendly when looking at it. It shows a couple books with an option to buy 1 -9 under each. I must be missing something. Has anyone bought from it? What am I doing wrong?
Test
It seems the hip2save code gives you a $40.00 credit. Each book is $8.00, 8×5=40. If you pick the 8 book set your cost is $8.50 plus shipping, it’s like $21.00 shipped. I selected the two books for a 3 year old, my cost would be $10.99 shipping and handling.
I bought toddler/kids books for 30¢ each at marshalls! They were on final clearance.
company is making money on the shipping, they ought to use Media Mail.
I filled in my info to find out how much shipping would be, but it came to be around $15.99 so I closed the window. I just got a very long text split into 4 separate messages from ‘Chelsey’ saying she is my assigned personal customer service rep and that she’s authorized to lower my shipping to $11.99 – uh what? I don’t appreciate the text messages after 9pm!
There is an option to get your shipping credited after you place the order by spreading the word on FB and if 5 people order with your code they refund shipping. I don’t like that there is no info on the book other than what is on the back cover. you can’t preview the pages. I don’t want to buy a book for anyone without previewing it first.
