Does anyone know if this is a good deal for an air mattress? ??? I need one for the holidays but not sure what price point is good. Tia!
For the last couple of years, Walmart has had 17in thick queen size air mattresses for $24.97 on Black Friday. Just to give you an idea…..or if you can hold off that long. 🙂
I agree you should get the air beds instead of the thin one. I’ve not tried this one but every thin bed I’ve ever slept on has been uncomfortable. The air beds just seem to be better – but for guests, if you live in a cool climate or plan to put it in a cool room in your house, air beds get VERY cold. I slept on an air bed in my first apartment for awhile and I had to buy an electric mattress pad to keep me from freezing. You may want to top it off with some egg carton foam or something to help keep the guests warm. That being said – when we get a lot of holiday guests, we still dig out the air mattresses for them.
Keep in mind that lantern and air mattress can be perfect for power outages and preparing for winter emergencies. We had to move downstairs to our living room during a winter storm because we had no power or generator and the fireplace only heated our downstairs! Set the air mattress up down there!
Great tip Sue! Thanks for sharing! 😉
That is a good tip! I’ll have to go out and get a battery operated pump because the one I have is electric
