Retailmenot.com has a 25% off in store coupon too!

  2. Megan

This would be an excellent deal with the free item coupon from the “We Wish You the Perfect Christmas” booklet! BOGO free candles, 25% off & a free item! Looks like I’m going there this weekend!

    • Stormy

Just know (I work there), that it will be separate transactions. The 25% off cannot (in my store, at least) be combined with anything else other than the b1g1 candle. You just won’t be able to add on that free coupon with the holiday theme….just an FYI. But b1g1 and 25% is great!!

      • Megan

Thanks for the head’s up! 🙂

      • Stasia

I have a $5 birthday coupon, will I be able to use that and the 25% off?

  3. Stefanie

Is the buy one get one free today only or does it just start today?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The BOGO sale starts today in-store (it started last night online) and goes through this Sunday, October 25th.

      • Stefanie

You totally put that in your post and I missed it– guess I should read more carefully. Thanks!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          No worries! You’re welcome 😉

Does anybody have an idea if these candles will be cheaper around black Friday (or I guess Thursday is more appropriate these days), I love the candles, but don’t know if I should wait to stock up or not.

    • Mel

I think they were on sale last year for under $5 with coupon closer to Christmas.

      • Dayna

Really? I remember them going on sale for $8 a few years ago, but that was like 3 years ago and I don’t know if they have done it again.

        • K

I bought some last year after Christmas for $6 each

    • Lauren

last year they had 8$ candles and various coupons available but it wasn’t until Christmas. their black Friday sale was very lackluster last year . i think i’m gonna wait a little. still have a bunch from my last haul! 🙂

    • MD

I was wondering the same thing – I don’t remember what I paid last year.

    • Katie

The second Saturday in November will be the $8 sale.

    • K

Someone said on the post yesterday that the candles go on sale mid-November (14th?) for $8. Add coupons to that and they’ll be cheaper than this.

      • Dayna

Thanks everybody for the responses! I think I will hold off on stocking up then!!

    • Penelope

Usually for Black Friday B&BW does buy any 3, get any 3 free with a $10 off $40 purchase so the buy 1 candle, get 1 free + 25% is a better stock up deal 🙂

      Example:

      Black Friday – buy 3 candles @ 22.50, then get 3 more for free = $67.50
      Subtract the $10 coupon = total $57.50

      Current deal – buy 3 candles @ 22.50, then get 3 more for free = $67.50
      Subtract 25% off (- $16.88) = $50.62

    • Lenny

I bought some last year for under $5, with sale and coupons

  5. MD

Looks like they offered the candles for $8.00 last year, plus you could combine with a $10 off $30 coupon.

  6. courtney

My bath and body works would not let me use any coupons on the $8 sale day in November. Did anyone else get to use coupons?

    • Stormy

That’s not right. There will be an $8 day and you can use store coupons. If you find that you can’t this year, immediately call corporate. It’s the same as using a store coupon when it’s buy 3, get 3 free. I’m sorry you ran into that last year!

  7. brandice

How are you all getting the bday coupon

  8. F

is the coupon ” FREE item with any purchase (up to a $13 value) with the code FA158084″ online only?

    • Erica

      Online only HTH

      • F

        Thank you!

  9. Vanessa

Just came back from the store and it was great! No lines, sales associate was very helpful and lots of selection on candles. Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool! You’re welcome!

Was able to get 2 candles today using the 25% off coupon, great deal!!! When I checked out, I got other coupon good Oct 19-Dec 24, $10 off $30!!!!! I asked and they said I could use it on this candle deal (if I chose to). Now I am trying to figure out a good deal to buy a candle , get one free, and purchase something else to make my total close to $30 – before the coupon. Any suggestions???

  11. Connie Fetzer

In my store in Pennsylvania they let me stack the B1G1 candle, the 25% off and I got the free item for spending $15 (coupon). I got 2 candles, 4 hand soaps and I got a owl soap holder for $33,78 and that included $1.91 sales tax.
