Just Curious… Are these really that good of a deal? I see this size of Yankee Candles all the time at Ross for $9.99 – $12.00… sometimes as low at $7.00 for clearance ones. Why pay the full price and “get one free” when you can get them one at a time?
I mean to say I see them at Ross, TJ Maxx, Homegoods and Marshalls for the low prices. They aren’t rare, so that’s why I’m curious.
If you aren’t picky about the scents you get. Just buy them on discount like you do. I would. You might never see certain scents that low, but if you’re ok with those keep getting them. I know some people really love them, but for the full price on them, or even slight discount, I’ve always thought they were a little overrated.
If you’re happy with the scents you get, go for it! I think Yankee Candle is overrated, too . . . except for Pomegranate Cider candles, my all-time favorite . . . which has been discontinued. 🙁 I’ve been thoroughly unimpressed with the other scents I’ve tried. But I’ve heard they have an awesome return/exchange policy for scents you don’t like.
You definitely don’t see a wide variety of scents on clearance.
I just ordered 8. I’m not sure who was more excited me or my husband.
I usually order 8 candles 2 or 3 time each year. Some we burn and some go straight
into the gift closet. I always have plenty of gifts on hand for unexpected occasions.
