i have one of these and LOVE it!
meant to add: i use this to make my own starbucks knock-off flavored soy misto at home! just 1/2 cup soy milk (heated in the microwave), use the frother to “froth”, add flavored syrup (my favorites are hazelnut, pumpkin spice and peppermint) to taste, and fill up the rest with hot coffee. i also make a version with flavored coffees (i love archer farms “dark chocolate truffle” & “pecan pie” flavors). just do the 1/2 cup soy milk (or regular milk) in the microwave, froth, and add the flavored coffee! sprinkle cocoa powder, pumpkin pie spice or whatever you like on top of the “froth”! SO GOOD!

I’m getting so irritated with these new gadgets that get only reviewed after receiving the item for free. They do give their honest opinion, but that’s only within a week of using it. I want to know the long term usage. Recently I’ve been looking into humidifiers, heaters, fleece face masks, neck warmers, etc…all have great reviews yet all are reviewed by ppl who have received the item in exchange of a good review. :/

World Market has them also for $3 every day. They have a plastic base but perform beautify as I have had mine for a year and half (battery has not run out yet). Works as well as the day I got it.
p.s. You can’t do that kind of latte art with that kind of frother
