Just wanted to comment to say that I purchased this flat iron (except I have the 1″) probably 6 or 7 years ago, and it is still working perfectly. Before that, I’d had two Chis that I just had to throw away after 1-2 years usage because they got broken in one way or another. I’d highly recommend this flat iron to someone looking for one!

Best flat iron I’ve ever used! I own the 1inch version of this flat iron. I have very thick, frizzy, curly hair. This flat iron cut my styling time down in half. Its great and the price is amazing (i got mine 10% off the retail price at Ulta). I’ve owned several straightening irons before, including chi, and they haven’t held up/performed as well as the Sedu. My hair damages easily from heat styling, but I haven’t seen any with this straightner.
I have bought two of these in over 10 years and I love it!!! Bought a Chi that got way too hot, paid $200-250 for it (practically died paying that much $$!) and it didn’t even last a year. Sedu was a lifesaver! I’ve had all the cheap brands and even tried convincing myself they were as good at $50 or less but they are not!
