Can anyone confirm these are good for little ones with eczema? TIA
We have used the free and clear for my little one with severe eczema without issue but I know everyone is different. We have also used Ecos Lavendar without issue.
Thanks Tracy for your input! I really appreciate it. ☺ I’m going to pick up small packets of both to try. None of my older kids have any skin problems, so this is def. a new thing for me. I had so much clothes before she was born but had to give away a huge chunk of it so to stick to only 100% cotton which seems to be less irritant for her…but goodness I didn’t realize how much of a life style change there is to everything we buy now.
I use it for my daughters eczema as well but you have to use it on every in the households clothes because they rub against your clothes and will break out if you don’t.
I’ve noticed a big difference in my little guy with eczema when we switched to free and clear detergent. But his skin condition changes by the hour I swear so it could just be a coincidence! 🙂
Have you ladies tried eliminating dairy from your LO diets? It completely cleared my kids’ eczema. Just something to think about.
My little one is 6 months and nursing exclusive. Ped says nothing I consume should really effect her(besides alcohol). Hoping she’ll grow out of it by 1yr as most kiddos do, so everyone says
I exclusively nursed my last two, they had eczema, blood in their stool, etc and upon removing dairy from my diet it all improved. My dr said it shouldn’t bother them as well, but it did. I know of other mamas who’ve experienced the same thing. Hth someone who is struggling with issues with their little one.
A lot of skin issues are related to what we consume. I had a dermatologist prescribe my 2 week old a pretty heavy steroid for his eczema, that’s what led me to look at other options. Hope you find something that works for your little one!
I’m lactose intolerant and my breastfed 8wk old developed excema and later ashtma. I never eat dairy. Doctor said its a problem with his liver. Dairy is not always to blame. We use this detergent without issues.
