You have not experienced a pear until you’ve had a Harry&David pear!!! 🙂

These pears looks great! My grandparents had a farm when I was growing up and they had a nice pear tree right out in their front yard. Apple trees, plum, pecan, you name it, we were out there pickin.’ ha
I was wondering if someone could enlighten me a bit on the swagbucks thing even though this is not the original post about it: When you guys are ‘searching’ are you just putting random things in the searchbox and hoping/thinking you might win a sb? Is that how it works? I know you have to use their search on the sb site, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks. Also, do you think it awards at least one per day? I won 8 the first day, yeah, I know that was prob. random, lol, but then since that day I have won one a day. So, any tips will help. Thanks.

You were really lucky to get 8…I’ve never gotten more than 4 and I’ve been at it for several months! I have gotten 4 or 5 amazon gift cards. I usually get 1-2 swagbucks per day (and it’s usually on my second search) but occasionally it’ll be more. You can install the swagbucks search to your tool bar so you don’t have to go to their site to search. Instead of just going directly to the site I want, I enter it in the search box. HTH.

I ordered myself some. These really are the best, but they are expensive. I can’t wait for mine to come!

Just this morning we we’re wondering what to send to my sister in law for her birthday next week. Thanks Collin, this is perfect! Harry & David fruit is yummy and this is a bargain for a delivered item!

  5. Annie

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Their pears are WONDERFUL!

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ordered some for my family for Valentines Day. Better than candy in the house ~ and oh do they love these pairs. We have received them as gifts and always appreciate and enjoy them!

  8. Tegan

Lunar New Year coincides with Valentine’s Day this year. I’m going to order these for my parents. Thank you 🙂

  9. Jenni

Thanks for the deal! These pears are AMAZING!!!

  10. MommyMel

These pears have spoiled me for any other. Thanks for the heads up. I’ve place my order and can’t wait. I’ve already got a list of folks to share with.

  11. Leslie

I’ve never seen anyone get so excited over fruit!!! Ok, I’ll send some to someone just so I can say I did it!!! I hope they are good… : )

  12. Melody

Not to sound naive, but are these things really any better than pears in the grocery store? I don’t understand the difference? Curious. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

melody yes they are wayyyyy better than the supermarket pears. you have to know how and when to eat them. make sure to let them ripen correctly and you will not be able to look at pears the same way again. I worked at a harry and david store for a bit and i really didnt understand the hype that “pear season” was almost here…..they let me taste one and i just couldnt believe it! soooo good.

  13. Barb

We got some of these as a gift for Christmas. I have been pulling them one at a time out of the frig. We have only 1 left. I take one out and let it ripen for a day or two. They are huge and they taste fantastic!!

  14. Crystal

I live right across the street from the orchard that grows the pears and the harry and david factory. I love these pears and they are the only pear i will eat. We get the ones that are “damaged” (they just don’t look as pretty, maybe a scar or something) They are truly the BEST.

  15. Carrie

I’m so excited to try these, have always wanted to eat one:) We also sent a box to my Grandmother, she will love them. Thank you so much for this post.

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t get the code to remove the shipping charge. Anybody else??

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I sent these to my hubby. He had a rough week. I wrote on the card “we make quite a pear”. Can’t wait to taste one of these.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I sent some to my MIL and also to myself. I can’t wait! One of the reviews on the H&D site said the pears are so good that she hides them from her family to eat them all herself…hmmm that sounds like a plan! Thanks Hip for all the great deals. You do an amazing job.

Bummer living in Alaska. I tried to order these and they wanted me to pay an extra $9 for shipping to Alaska… that was after the $8.95 was taken off for S&H (for free shipping). We are part of the US.. that is why I always back out of deals because they want to add on another fee for Alaska. Oh well. I will one day try a H&D pear.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

what the difference between cream of crop and favorite royal riviera?
    is it just the size?

Are they really worth the price? I really like grocery store barlett pears but these have such great reviews I”m tempted to give them to family during lunar new year

  21. A.Marie

I just have to say that this is an INCREDIBLE deal, and to those who wonder if it is worth it, I say YES!! 🙂

These pears are fabulous…eating one of them is like eating a dessert only these are healthier! The fruit just kind of “melts in your mouth” and there isn’t that “grainy” texture that supermarket pears have. Just be sure to let them ripen for a day or so!

    WORTH.EVERY.PENNY

They won’t taste ANYthing like the grocery store ones!!! MMMMMMMMMMMM

ANd check out ship to dates. I did some of their after Christmas baskets but had them shipped on MOTHERS DAY! I still got the great price!

  23. Marin

They are the best pears by far. They always taste great and are the right softness and texture. Sooo worth it. My husband buys me a box every year for Christmas. They also have great candy and moose munch. Lots of good stuff from there. If you can find a store near you, check them out. You can catch stuff on clearance as they get to the end of their “ripeness”. Oh so yummy!!!
