Are they worth the price? I mean are they that much better than cheaper products on the market as to justify the price?
My inlaws have this to help in the California summer and while it works I would NOT say its amazing of worth the price…
Unless you have curious kids around the house, it’s not worth it. The fans still have blades, they’re just in the base. Aside from that, it’s a normal fan.

I got one last year from Groupon thinking it would really cool off my room in the summer, I live in SD, but it was a disappointment. I can use a reg fan, bigger fan, to get more air circulation. I do like however, that if my son gets a hold of it he won’t get hurt with any blades and it stops if it’s tipped over. And if you want to use the heater, that works a lot better than the cool fan. My husband uses the heater in the bathroom for morning showers:) works really well bc u control the temp.

I have this and I love it!!!! The rooms I use this in are medium to smaller size so I can’t say how it would work in a large room but it works great for what I use it for. I’ve used both the heater and the fan and have gotten every penny out of it. It’s nice if you have small children or pets in your house and it works off a thermostat so you can control the temperature. You can direct the air flow in just a stationary position or use the swivel. HTH😀

Got two of these at Costco and had to return both of them the next day; waste of money. These do not do what they claim ( do not heat and do not cool when you actually need to). You would be better off with some cheaper brand of a heater and cooler, trust me those work but not dyson. It’s a joke product.
